Alabama, U.S., County Marriage Records, 1805-1967 - 1814-1935

Adrienne Marie Evans:
Funeral services were held from Wilmer United Methodist Church, Saturday, December 18, 1999 at 3 p.m. with Rev. Andy Gartman and Rev. Patrick Holley officiating. Pallbearers were Tim Roberts, Lance Roberts, John Gartman, Brad Gartman, Charles Eubanks and Kevin Holland. Interment was in Wilmer Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME 3155 DAUPHIN ST MOBILE, AL 36606.

Mrs. Corinne Fields:
Age 71. A recent resident of Mobile and a former resident of Houston and Bay City, TX died Saturday, December 18, 1999. A graduate of Southern Methodist University, she served as the Assistant Director of Computer Services for Rice University, Houston, TX. She was an active member of St. Ignatius Church where she served as the Director of Volunteers, and was involved with Meals on Wheels, and the Legion of Mary. Mrs. Fields was preceded in death by her son, David Carleton Fields. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ron O'Gorman of Mobile, AL and Laura Fields Lieber of Katy, TX; two sisters, Mrs. Harold Ottis and Mrs. Dan Wendt both of Bay City, TX; nine grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Ignatius Catholic Church. Visitation will be held in the Marian Center from 8:30 until service time. A Rosary Service will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 19, 1999 at Ron and Susan O'Gorman's home. Graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, December 21, 1999 at 11 a.m. at Forest Park - Lawndale, Houston, TX. Arrangements are by Pine Crest Funeral Home, 1939 Dauphin Island Pkwy, Mobile, AL 36605. 334-478-5227.

Thomas Ira Hackman:
A native of Aberdeen, MS, former resident of Cleveland, OH and resident of Mobile, AL since 1993, born March 19, 1925, passed suddenly on December 15, 1999. Mr. Hackman served in the US Army and was a graduate from Dillard and New York Universities. He was an educator who taught in the Mobile County Public School System and retired from the Cleveland Ohio Public School System. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Burdette and Emma Hackman. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving sister, Mrs. Alice (Aubrey) Rankin, Mobile, AL; two loving brothers, Mr. Sylvester (Elizabeth) Hackman and Mr. Gene (Norma) Hackman, Abilene, TX; a host of devoted nieces, nephews, other relatives and numerous friends. His remains will lie in state at Christian Benevolent Funeral Home Sunday, December 19, 1999 from 12:00 to 5:00 P.M . and after 9:00 A.M. Monday, December 20, 1999 at St. Paul A.M.E. Church, 1255 Montrose St. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at which time, Rev. G.L. Washington, Pastor, will conduct the funeral service. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Arrangements by CHRISTIAN BENEVOLENT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 201 N. Hamilton St., Mobile, AL 36603.

Elizabeth Anne Hemmingway:
Funeral services were held from the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Saturday, December 18, 1999 at 12 p.m. with Rev. James Hill officiating. Active pallbearers were Brad Rodgers, Jake Townsend, Brent Townsend, Derek Rodgers, Randy Sullivan, Breck Messer, George Rodgers, and Jody Waite. Interment was in Wolfe Ridge Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 1200 Industrial Pkwy, Saraland, AL.

Sis. Mary Ida Williams Lang:
Answered her heavenly call on Wednesday, December 15, 1999. She was a faithful member of the Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she served on the Ministers' and Deacons' Wives Board, Missionary Society, and the Hospitality Committee. She was united in marriage to the Rev. Eural C. Lang, Sr., for fifty-four years. To this union, eleven children were born. Cherishing her memories are six daughters, Eula Hamilton, Deloris Howze, Dorothy (Lorenzo) Trotter of Mt. Vernon, AL, Barbara (William) Barry, Vera (Vernon) Cook, and Yolanda Lang of Birmingham, AL; five sons, Eural (Betty) Lang, Jr., Freddie (Terese) Lang of Atlanta, GA, Anthony (Barbara) Lang, Larry (Michelle) Lang of Diamond Bar, CA, and Rev. Benjamin (Nadine) Lang of Atlanta, GA; seventeen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; one sister, Rosetta Fitts of Faunsdale, AL; two brothers, Cornelious (Melissa) Williams and John Henry (Lou) Williams, both of Uniontown, AL; one sister-in-law, Bessie Pullom; two brothers-in-law, Rev. William (Gertrude) Lang of Calvert, AL and David (Carrie) Lang of Los Angeles, CA, and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, December 20, 1999, at Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1012 Adams Street from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 funeral hour with Rev. Benjamin Lang officiating and Rev. S.M. McCree, Pastor. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery. Services of love are entrusted to Azalea Funeral Home Co., 352 State St.

Mr. Robert Dale Lee:
Age 59. A native of Mobile and resident of Chickasaw died at a local hospital Friday, December 17, 1999. He is survived by his sister, Jackie Hensley of Houston, TX; four sons, Robert D. Lee, Jr. of Chickasaw, Sam Lee of Grand Bay, Leslie Lee of Mobile, AL and Randy Lee of Grand Bay, AL; five grandchildren, brother-in-law, Byron H. Jordan of Warner Robbins, GA; sister-in-law, Cecilia Sudduth of Irvington; niece, Sandy Baker of Mobile, AL, many more nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 20, 1999 from Pine Crest Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Sunday, December 19, 1999 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by Pine Crest Funeral Home, 1939 Dauphin Island Pkwy, Mobile, AL 36605. 334-478-5227.

Mary Ann Mastin:
Funeral services were held from the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Saturday, December 18, 1999 at 12 noon officiated by Rev. Peter Cooper and W. T. Allison. Honorary pallbearer were Glenn Sumerlin [another listing has a different spelling] and Jeff Corley, Jr. Active pallbearers were Jason Nichols, Jim Parten, Johnny Allen, Chris Mastin, Issac Mastin, Jimmy Sumerlin, Linnie Steiner and John Bullard. Interment was in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements were by RADNEY FUNERAL HOME, 1200 Industrial Pkwy, Saraland, AL.

Mrs. Mabell Truly Parker:
Funeral services were held Saturday, December 18, 1999 with Dr. Charles Brown officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Clarence Burgess, David Burgess, Jeff Burgess, Buddy Crocker, Heath Parker and Bill Welford. Interment was in Pine Crest Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were by PINE CREST FUNERAL HOME, 1939 Dauphin Island Pkwy, Mobile, AL 36605 (334-478-5227).
