HUNTSVILLE -- Funeral for Kim Roberts, 35, of Huntsville will be today at 1:30 at Valhalla Funeral Home with the Rev. David Threw and the Rev. Patrick Abue officiating.

Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.

Ms. Roberts died Thursday, Jan. 11, 2001, in Decatur. She was born March 20, 1965, in Huntsville. She was a Baptist and a store clerk.

Survivors include two sons, Isaiah Roberts and Emanuel Roberts, both of Huntsville; one stepson, Brandon Roberts of Huntsville; one stepdaughter, Brandy Roberts of Knoxville; her mother, Juanita C. Alexander of Decatur; one brother, Jonathan Alexander of Decatur; and three sisters, Gwen Bohlender of Decatur, Debbie Brazelton of Huntsville and Teresa Furlong of Snellville, Ga.

Leldon Terry
76, campground developer

TRINITY -- Funeral for Leldon Terry, 76, of Decatur will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with the Rev. Todd Evans officiating.

Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mr. Terry died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2001, at Huntsville Hospital East. He was born May 23, 1924, in Lawrence County to Leolan Terry and Florine Terry. He was supervisor with General Motors prior to developing a Campground of America in Calhoun, Ga. He was a member of Parkview Baptist Church. He was the father of the late Darryl Terry.

Survivors include his wife, Opal Hill Terry; one son, Bob Terry of Vestavia Hills; three brothers, Hollis Terry of Huntsville and Preston Terry and Gary Terry, both of Priceville; four sisters, Inez Jarrett of Hanceville and Othella Parker, Elnora Franks and Evelyn Yarbrough, all of Decatur; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Brent Terry, Bob Terry, Darryl Terry Jr., Hollis Terry, Preston Terry and Gary Terry.

Lloyd 'Boe' Wales
67, retired street worker

ATHENS -- Funeral for Lloyd "Boe" Wales, 67, of Athens will be today at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home with Kirk Bobo and Doug Matlock officiating.

Burial will be in O'Neal Cemetery.

Mr. Wales died Friday, Jan. 12, 2001, at Athens-Limestone Hospital. He was born Aug. 2, 1933, in Limestone County to Richard Wales and Ila Mae Wales. He was retired from the Athens Street Department and was a member of O'Neal Church of Christ. He was the father of the late Bernice Wales.

Survivors include his wife, Lurene Wales; two daughters, Bonita King of Elkmont and Darlene Norris of Athens; his mother of Athens; one sister, Betty Hargrove of Ardmore; and five grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Larry Pylant, Stan Pylant, Kip Raney, Don Walker, Mike Walker and Tommy Toone.

Joey Beck

MOULTON -- Graveside service for Joey Beck, 19, of Town Creek will be Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Ferguson Cemetery with Dexter Rutherford officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Beck died Friday, Jan. 12, 2001, at his home. He was born Oct. 28, 1981, in Ukiah, Calif.

Survivors include his parents, Mike and Sharon Sukut of Town Creek; one brother, Jonathan Sukut of Town Creek, one sister, Crystal Sukut of Town Creek; his grandparents. Gary and Barbara Land of California and Thomas and Judy Sukut of California, and Judy Livingston of California.

Pallbearers will be Chris Land, Gary Land, Aaron Jackson, Steve Holland, Kenneth Hubbard, Mike Sukut and Phillip Lowery.

Wilson Cross Jr.

Funeral arrangements for Wilson Cross Jr., 54, of Decatur, who died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2001, at his home, will be announced by Reynolds Funeral Home.

Chester A. 'Ted' Dilworth
83, retired carpenter

ARDMORE -- Funeral for Chester A. "Ted" Dilworth, 83, of Athens was to be today at 2 p.m. at Taylor-Ardmore Funeral Home with the Rev. R.C. Craft officiating.

Burial was to be in Gatlin Cemetery.

Mr. Dilworth died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2001, at Cogburn Health Facility. He was a retired carpenter. He was the widower of Loetta Dilworth and father of the late Stanley Dilworth.

Survivors include his wife, Edith Dilworth; four sons, Jerry Dilworth, Harold Dilworth, Dalton Dilworth and Anthony Dilworth, all of Athens; two daughters, Barbara Pettie of Athens and Jamie Clem of Harvest; one stepson, Waymon Muse of Athens; one stepdaughter, Monette Jenkins of Columbia, Tenn.; one brother, Tom Dilworth of New Hope; one sister, Thelma Williams of Albertville; 20 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Bertha Ikner
94, homemaker

HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Bertha Ikner, 94, of Hartselle will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church with the Rev. Dewitt Crowe, the Rev. Joey Coots and the Rev. Donnie McDonald officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 5:30 until 8 at the funeral home. The body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.

Mrs. Ikner died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2001, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Sept. 14, 1906, in Lawrence County to Robert Lee Roberson and Callie Smith Roberson. She was a homemaker and the oldest member of Hopewell Baptist Church. She was the widow of Lonnie Ikner and sister of the late Nannie Bell Wright, Earl Roberson, Bob Roberson and Initial Roberson.

Survivors include one son, Gary Wright of Decatur; one daughter, Joan Hampton of Hartselle; one sister, Emma Dell Stephenson of Ardmore, Tenn.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Wendell Wright, Bobby Roberson, Joe Roberson, J.C. Boger, J.R. Roberson and Harold Lee Stephenson.

Sarah Easter Lamar
90, homemaker

ROGERSVILLE -- Graveside services for Sarah Easter Lamar, 90, of Athens, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Butler Cemetery with Roland Stanley officiating and Spry Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lamar died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2001, at Limestone Health Facility. She was born Feb. 25, 1910, in Lawrence County to John Harvey Austin and Henrietta Austin. She was a homemaker and a member of the Worldwide Church of God. She was the widow of William Thomas Lamar and the mother of the late Nathaniel Lamar.

Survivors include seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Elizabeth McClusky
84, retired beautician

Funeral for Elizabeth McClusky, 84, of Decatur will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Hoover officiating.

Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 5 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mrs. McClusky died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2001, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born April 14, 1917, in Barren Plains, Tenn., to Herbert Steven Higdon and Mary Elizabeth Bowers Higdon. She was a member of Sixteenth Avenue Baptist Church and was a retired beautician. She was the widow of the Rev. Paul McClusky.

Survivors include one brother, Thomas Higdon of Tucson, Ariz.; and two sisters, Peggy J. Landrith of Sunnyvale, Calif., and Katherine Albert of Grosse Point Woods, Mich.

Carol J. Parker
52, stock clerk

ARAB -- Funeral for Carol J. Parker, 52, of Hulaco will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at New Life Assembly of God in Arab with the Rev. Tim Parrish officiating.

Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery in Morgan County with Gober Funeral Home directing. The body will be at the church from 5 p.m. today until the service.

Mrs. Parker died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2001, at Crestwood Medical Center. She was born July 24, 1948, in Erie, Pa., to Joseph Feasler and Elaine Cook Feasler. She was a homemaker and stock clerk, and was a member of New Life Assembly of God. Mrs. Parker moved to North Alabama in 1974.

Survivors include her husband, James "Bossie" Parker; one son, Henry Hill of Germany; one daughter, Joanne Kelley of Baileyton; three stepsons, Kevin Edward Parker of Moody, James Heath Parker of Arab and Tony Talley of Grassy; one stepdaughter, Tammy Jo Callahan of Baileyton; her parents of Guntersville; one brother, Joseph Feasler Jr. of Arizona; one sister, Janet Feasler Reger of Guntersville; three grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren; and five step great-grandchildren.

Elnora Nelson Wilhoite
65, homemaker

HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Elnora Nelson Wilhoite, 65, of Somerville will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronald Dugger and the Rev. H.L. Buckner officiating.

Burial will be in Nelson Hollow Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wilhoite died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2001, at her residence. She was born Jan. 31, 1935, in Morgan County to Jim Nelson and Altie Echols Nelson. She attended Church of God of Prophecy in Hartselle. She was the widow of Floye "Tigger" Wilhoite. She was a homemaker and raised foster children.

Survivors include two sons, Earl Evans of Hartselle and James Windham of Georgia; one daughter, Nina Reeves of Somerville; one brother, Leon Nelson of Decatur; one sister, Bernice Satterfield of Somerville; and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Scott Nelson, Terry Nelson, H.M. Henderson, Randy Nelson, Brian Nelson and Billy Barnes.

Golda Mae Banks
97, homemaker
HARTSELLE -- Graveside service for Golda Mae Banks, 97, of Hartselle will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Hartselle City Cemetery with the Rev. Ron Wilson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Banks died Monday, Jan. 15, 2001, at her home. She was born Nov. 17, 1903, in Ohio to Sylvester Bragdon and Myrtle Mary Wade. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Hartselle and the widow of Robert E. Banks. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include one daughter, Frances Munson of Winston Salem, N.C.; two sisters, Thelma Crabtree of Green field, Ohio, and Margaret Guest of Michigan; one granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren.

Garnet O. Epperson
92, retired teacher

FORT BRANCH, Ind. -- Funeral for Garnet O. Epperson, 92, of Falkville will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at Fort Branch First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gil Hubbard officiating and Stodghill Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Epperson died Monday, Jan. 15, 2001, at Falkville Health Care Center. She was born Jan. 12, 1909, in Oaktown, Ind., to Henry Dunkerly and Daisy Walker. She was the widow of Earle Epperson. She was a school teacher at Marlette Elementary School and Patoka Elementary School. She retired in 1975 after 34 years as a teacher. She graduated from Oakland City College and from Indiana University with a master's degree. She was a member of Fort Branch United Methodist Church and an associate member of Hartselle First United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Fort Branch Eastern Star, the Daughters of the Nile and Delta Kappa Gamma.

Survivors include one son, George Epperson of Chicago, Ill.; one daughter, Ellen Anne Hodgen of Somerville; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Fort Branch United Methodist Church or the Hartselle First United Methodist Church.
