Funeral for William (Bubba) Smith, 71, of Falkville was Tuesday, November 16, at 11:00 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lindsey Herndon officiating.
Mr. Smith died Sunday, November 14, 1999, at his residence. He was a native of Morgan County and a self-employed drywall contractor.
He is survived by his wife, Dean Smith of Falkville; two sons, Gary Lloyd Smith and Phillip Scott Smith, both of Falkville; one daughter, Kristol Nicole Smith of Birmingham; three brothers, Harold W. Smith and Franklin D. Smith, both of Falkville, and Teddy R. Smith of Hartselle; one sister, Christine Newman of Falkville; three grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Henry Earl Chandler
November 9, 1999

Funeral for Henry Earl Chandler, 55, of Falkville was Friday, November 12, at 2:00 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Mr. Chandler died Tuesday, November 9, 1999.
He is survived by his wife, Malinda Chandler of Falkville; one daughter, Gidget Silguers of Falkville; two sisters, Vera White of Birmingham and Loa Mae Myers of Clinton; and one grandson.

David Glover
November 13, 1999

Funeral for David Glover, 59, of Somerville was Monday, November 15, at 11:00 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dewitt Crow officiating.
Burial was in New Center Cemetery.
Mr. Glover died Saturday, November 13, 1999, at South Morgan Health Care Center. He was a native of Morgan County.
He is survived by one brother, Tom Glover of Somerville.

Laura Mae Drinkard
November 11, 1999

Funeral for Laura Mae Drinkard, 70, of Eva was Tuesday, November 16, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eric Welch officiating.
Burial was in Oden Ridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Drinkard died Thursday, November 11, 1999, at her residence. She was a native of Alabama and a member of Mt. View Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Harold E. Drinkard of Eva; one daughter, Shirley Flack of Hartselle; two sisters, Martha Maskey of Pheonix, AZ and Mary M. Wasilowski of Atlanta, Ga.; one grandchild and one great grandchild.
Pallbearers were O.Q. Childers, J.J. Daugette, J.C. Draper, Kandy Hopper, D.H. Oden and Tommy Shelton.

Carl Adrian Brock
November 10, 1999

Funeral for Carl Adrain Brock, 55, of Cullman was Friday, November 12, at 2:00 p.m. at Moss-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Kent officiating.
Burial was in Hamby's Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Brock died Wednesday, November 10, 1999, at University Hospital in Birmingham. He was a native of Cullman County and a lieutenant with the Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board. He was the grandfather of the late Myles Brockway.
He is survived by one daughter, Julie Brock Brockway of Cullman; three brothers, Sherman Brock of Madison, Bruce Brock of Eva and Bryan Brock of Guntersville; two sisters, Peggy Burden of Baileyton and Sandra Brock of Cullman; his mother, Christine Daniel Brock of Cullman; and one granddaughter.
Pallbearers were Ricky Dale, Ellis Folsom, Keith Hunt, Phil Estes, Duck Livingston and Jack Springer.

Francis Marie Hill
November 14, 1999

Funeral for Francis Marie Hill, 69, of Decatur was Wednesday, November 17, at 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Gentry officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Hill died Sunday, November 14, 1999, at Parkway Medical Center Hospital. She was a native of Morgan County and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Allen Hill.
She is survived by her husband, Van B. Hill of Decatur; two sons, Kenneth Wayne Hill and Tony Michael Hill, both of Decatur; two daughters, Margie Ellen Rogers and Jean Hammack, both of Decatur; two sisters, Brenda Stone and Joyce Russell, both of Decatur; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Frank Hill, Rodney Hammack, Jason Staggs, Dennis Holmes, Johnny Hopper and Donald Pace.

Kenneth Smitherman
November 7, 1999

Funeral for Kenneth Smitherman, 64, of Lacey's Spring was Wednesday, November 10, at 1:00 p.m. at Twickenham Funeral Home South.
Burial was in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Smitherman died Sunday, November 7, 1999, at his residence. He was a native of Alabama and a member of Whitesburg Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Smitherman of Lacey's Spring; one son, Keith Smitherman of Huntsville; one daughter, Lori Walton of Huntsville; his mother, Mary Smitherman of Montevallo; one brother, Larry Smitherman of Montevallo; one sister, Carolyn Wilson of Nashville, Tenn.; and four grandchildren.
