Betty Jo Tudor

A graveside service for Betty Jo Tudor, 70, of Hartselle was Monday, Aug. 18, at 11 a.m. at Hartselle City Cemetery with Charles Goodall officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Tudor died Friday, Aug. 15, 2003, at her residence. She was born March 1, 1933 in Tennessee to Oscar Lafayette Tudor and Lois Mae Morgan Tudor.
She is survived by three daughters, Jerrilyon Wright of Hartselle and Jerretta Thrasher and Jo Ann Wright, both of Decatur; one brother, Robert Franklin Tudor of Decatur; two sisters, Allene Gertrude Tudor of Hartselle and Shirley Ann Bardi of Hammond, Ind.; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Steve Wright, Tommy Thrasher, Justin Wright, Jeremy Wright, Brad Maner and Chuck Clemons.

Clara Eulala Morrison
June 21, 2003
Funeral for Clara Eulala Morrison of Hartselle was Tuesday, June 24, at 11 a.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home with Bro. Walter Blackman officiating.
Burial was in Fairview West Cemetery in Hanceville.
Mrs. Morrison died June 21, 2003, after a 12-year battle with breast cancer. She was the first president of the North Alabama Regional Alcoholism Council in Cullman covering Lawrence, Limestone, Morgan and Cullman counties. She became a social worker for the state of Alabama in 1981 and retired after 11 years when she was diagnosed with cancer in 1992. Although her profession required her to help others, she always helped anyone whenever she saw an opportunity.
She is survived by one daughter, A. Suzanne Morrison of Hartselle; her mother, Lula Quick; two sisters, Mayola Robertson and Deborah Brown, both of Hanceville; one nephew; three nieces; and a host of relatives and friends.
Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Charlotte Elaine Walker Bradley
June 23, 2003
Funeral for Charlotte Elaine Walker Bradley, 56, of Hartselle, was Monday, June 23, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug Ripley, the Rev. K.C. Poole and the Rev. Eric Bennett officiating.
Burial was in Salem Cemetery.
Mrs. Bradley died Saturday, June 23, 2003, at her residence. She was born March 18, 1947, in Morgan County to James Newell Walker and Annie Lois Blackwood Walker. She was a poultry farmer. She was a member of Straight Way Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, James Bradley of Hartselle; two daughters, Starla Ward and Lora Vest, both of Hartselle; her parents, Newell and Lois Walker of Hartselle; one brother, Alan Walker of Hartselle; and two grandchildren, Charissa Smith and Jakob Smith.
Pallbearers were Jerry Bloodworth, Paul Holladay, Carl White, Norman Vest, Eddie Roy and Perry Bennett.

Jessie Louise Reynolds Ward
April 10, 2003
Funeral for Jessie Louise Reynolds Ward, 88, of Hartselle was Sunday, April 13, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Michael E. Greene officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Ward died Thursday, April 10, 2003, at her residence. She was born January 19, 1915, in Sheffield to John Reynolds and Izora Hunt Reynolds. She was a member of West Hartselle Baptist Church and a former member of Flint Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and was very active in her church. She was the widow of James V. Ward.
She is survived by one daughter, Jan Ward Akin of Birmingham; two sisters, Viola Peters of Huntsville and Cassie Sharp of Dallas, Tex.; one granddaughter, Lynn Akins Elkins of Birmingham; and one great granddaughter, Evie Summers Elkins of Birmingham.
Pallbearers were Doug Weinman, Del Ward, Kris Ward, Nick Ward, Doyle Ward and Wayne Mahaffey.

Marie Malone West
Aug. 24, 2003
Funeral for Marie Malone West, 84, of Falkville was Tuesday, Aug. 26, at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church of Falkville with the Rev. Kenneth Weldon officiating.
Burial was in Falkville City Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. West died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2003, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born June 10, 1919, in Tennessee to James Franklin Malone and Annie Mae Spears Malone. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Falkville. She was the widow of James Wilson West.
She is survived by her brother, Hurley Lee Malone of Savannah, Tenn; a niece, Frankie Kendell McClain of Savannah, Tenn.; a great niece, Marie Coleman of Savannah, Tenn; and a great nephew, Jimmy Davis of Savannah, Tenn.

Pauline Preston Peck
June 21, 2003
Funeral for Pauline Preston Peck, 77, of Hartselle, was Monday, June 23, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brooks Barkley and Dr. Bill Hacker officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mrs. Peck died Saturday, June 21, 2003, at her residence. She was born Sept. 9, 1925, in Lawrence County to James Marion Preston and Lucy Penola Dutton Preston. She was manager of F. E. Burleson cafeteria for 13 years for Hartselle City Schools and was a member of First Baptist Church in Hartselle. She was the mother of the late David Anthony Peck.
She is survived by her husband, J.E. Peck, Jr. of Hartselle; one son, Mark Preston Peck of Falkville; one brother, Irvin Preston of Moulton; one sister, Bertha Dobbins of Summerford Nursing Home; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were nephews.
Memorials may be made to Hospice or your favorite charity.

William Leamon Reeves

Funeral for William Leamon Reeves, 83, of Hartselle was Monday, March 3, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Gary Peebles and Jimmy Maze officiating.
Burial was in New Center Cemetery.
Mr. Reeves died Saturday, March 1, 2003, at Hartselle Medical Center. A native of Colbert County, he was a Navy veteran of World War II and retired in maintenance from Juice Bowl Fruit Co. of Lakeland Fla. He was the widower of Gladys Reeves, the father of the late Reba Nell Kimberill and the brother of the late Novie Engle and Willie Mae Bracken.
He is survived by one son, Jerry Maze of Winter Haven, Fla.; three sisters, Mamie Maze, Elsie Ricks and Eloise Peebles, all of Hartselle; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Cecil Lewter, Buddy Maze, Ronnie Peebles, Hoyt Bracken, Leo Maze and Ron Leeth.

Sharon Fowler Jenkins
Aug. 2, 2003
Funeral for Mrs. Sharon Jenkins, 62, of Tucker, Ga., (formerly of Florette) was Monday, Aug. 4, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home in Decatur, Ga.
Burial was in Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange, Ga.
Mrs. Jenkins died Saturday, Aug. 2, 2003, in Tucker, Ga.
She is survived by her husband, Lester M. Jenkins of Tucker, Ga.; and one brother, Draton Fowler of Athens.
