Jack Clinton Sharp
January 20, 2000
A graveside service for Jack Clinton Sharp, 67, of Houston, Tex., was Wednesday, January 26, at 2:00 p.m. at Center Springs Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Ballew officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Sharp died Thursday, January 20, 2000, at Diagnostic Hospital in Houston. He was a native of Morgan County and was retired from Wyman-Gordon Forgings, formerly Cameron Iron Works and Cooper Industries, after 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Cecille Jardenil Sharp of Houston; two sons, Charles Vincent Sharp of Houston and Carl Sharp of Colorado; two daughters, Leslie Boht and Kathy Holt, both of Arizona; two brothers, Samuel Sharp of Cullman and Milton Sharp of Somerville; two sisters, Lucy Williams of Decatur and Geraldine Sivley of Somerville; and seven grandchildren.
Nephews were pallbearers.

Elizabeth Diane Kennedy Hunt
January 11, 2000
A graveside service for Elizabeth Diane Kennedy Hunt, 44, of Hartselle was Friday, January 14, at 10:00 a.m. at Bay Minette Cemetery with the Rev. Danny Pitts officiating and Norris Funeral Home directing.
A memorial service was Sunday, January16, at 2:00 p.m. at the Apostolic Life United Pentecostal Church in Hartselle.
Mrs. Hunt died Tuesday, January 11, 2000, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Mobile and worked in the business department at Hartselle Medical Center.
She is survived by her husband, Scott Hunt of Hartselle; two daughters, Bridget M. Richardson of Stapleton and Jodie D. McDonald of Bay Minette; one stepson, Kendall Hunt of Hartselle; one stepdaughter, Debra McGlone of Clay City, Ky., one brother, Byron Kennedy of Florida; one sister, Belinda Wiese of Mobile; and one granddaughter.

Lila Mae Herring
January 11, 2000
Funeral for Lila Mae Herring, 82, of Hartselle was Friday, January 14, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Hartselle with the Rev. Billy Ray Young officiating.
Burial was in Campground Cemetery with Reynolds Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Herring died Tuesday, Janaury 11, 2000, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was a native of Morgan County and a member of First Baptist Church, where she served on the Usher Board.
She is survived by one brother, Lovell Herring of Hartselle.
Nephews were pallbearers.

Luther (Bill) McLain

A family memorial service for Luther (Bill) McLain, 69, of Hartselle was Friday, January 14, at 2:00 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home.
Mr. McLain died Thursday, January 13, 2000, at Valley View Nursing Home in Madison. He was a native of Marshall County and retired from WFMH radio station in Cullman, where he was an announcer and an advertising sales representative. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Danny McLain of Montgomery and Timothy McLain of Auburn; two daughters, Sandra McCurley of Hartselle and Shelia McLain of Guntersville; two brothers, Verlon McLain of Grant and David McLain of Scottsboro; one sister, Joyce Troglen of Atlanta; nine grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Nettie Williams Morgan
January 16, 2000
Funeral for Nettie Williams Morgan, 83, of Hartselle was Tuesday, January 18, at 1:00 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Junior officiating.
Burial was in Shiloh Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Morgan died Sunday, January 16, 2000, at SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation Center in Decatur. She was a native of Morgan County.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Morgan of Hartselle; one son, Waymon L. Williams, Jr. of Hartselle; two daughters, Hazel Riddle of Huntsville and Ann Ambrose of Hartselle; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Adam Pyland, Shane Jackson, Lee Williams, Dewayne Riddle, John Riddle and Mark Norman.

Lois B. Clements
January 12, 2000
Funeral for Lois B. Clements, 94, of Moulton Health Care Center was Friday, January 14, at 1:00 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. W. L. Cole officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mrs. Clements died Wednesday, January 12, 2000, at Lawrence Baptist Medical Center in Moulton. She was a native of Randolph County and a former long-time resident of Hartselle. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hartselle and former owner of Clements Hardware on Main Street in Hartselle. She was the widow of Alva Clements.
She is survived by three cousins, Oren Hopper of Falkville, Mozelle Butler of Montgomery and Walter Taylor.

William Allen Sherrell
January 17, 2000
Funeral for William Allen Sherrell, 50, of Vinemont was Wednesday, January 19, at 3:30 p.m. at West Point Baptist Church with the Revs. Jim McClurkin and Floyd Kline officiating.
Burial was in Blair Methodist Cemetery with Cullman Heritage Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Sherrell died Monday, January 17, 2000. He was a welder at SSI Memphis.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Thompson Sherrell of Vinemont; five sons, Danny Timmons and Rodney Sherrell, both of Falkville, and Jeffery Sherrell, Ronney Sherrell and Josh Sherrell, all of Vinemont; two daughters, Michelle Timmons Brown of Moulton and Brandy Sherrell Thrasher of Utica, N.Y.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Sherrell of Hayden; four brothers, Wayne Sherrell of Vinemont, Larry Sherrell of Blountsville, Randy Sherrell of Hayden and Phillip Sherrell of Cook Springs; and seven grandchildren.

Jessie Leldon Kelsoe
January 10, 2000
Funeral for Jessie Leldon Kelsoe, 89, of Speake was Thursday, January 13, at 2:00 p.m. at Lebanon United Methodist Church with Ted Agee, Estis Hardin and Francis Proctor officiating.
Burial was in Lebanon Cemetery with Parkway Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Kelsoe died Monday, January 10, 2000, at Lawrence Baptist Center in Moulton. He was a native of Lawrence County and a member of Lebanon United Methodist Church for 74 years, where he was a steward and superintendent. He was retired from the Lawrence County Board of Education after 30 years as a mechanic. He was a farmer and the father of the late Clayton D. Kelsoe and Lyle O. Kelsoe.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Trudie Weaver Kelsoe of Speake; one son, Houston W. Kelsoe of Falkville; one daughter, Margaret Kelsoe Richard of Speake; three brothers, R. Quinton Kelsoe and Travis (Bill) Kelsoe, both of Speake, and Calvin Kelsoe of Falkville; one sister, Mavis Kelsoe Vernon of Speake; eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Roy Houston Kelsoe, Eddie Dean Kelsoe, Herbert Andrew Weems, Warren Rea Kelsoe, Gregory Lyle Kelsoe, Todd Olen Kelsoe, Steve Hutto and Mark Crumley.
