Funeral for Alice King Fitzgerald, 84, of Hartselle was Wednesday, March 15, at 11:00 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Jimmy Henderson and Robert M. Stegall officiating.
Burial was in Herring Cemetery in Massey.
Mrs. Fitzgerald died Monday, March 13, 2000, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was a native of Morgan County and a member of Hartselle First Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Fitzgerald, one brother, Fletcher Max King and one sister, Katherine K. Stephenson.
She is survived by three daughters, Virginia F. White of Northport, Sandra Pickens of Hartselle and Danni F. Shafer of Enid, Okla.; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Frank Fitzgerald, Hugh Fitzgerald, Mac Fitzgerald, Ed Gay, Roger King, Sam Nunn, Fred Stacks and Jim Stephenson.

Frances H. Lee

Funeral for Frances H. Lee, 74, of Falkville was Tuesday, March 14, at 1:00 p.m. at Gober Funeral Home in Arab with the Rev. Jess White officiating.
Burial was in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Lee died Sunday, March 12, 2000, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was a native of Giles County, Tenn., and a retired nurse and a member of Ruth Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Harry Lee of Hartselle; one daughter, Jean Ann Joner of Decatur; one sister, Odessa Smith of Pulaski, Tenn.; two grandsons; and one great granddaughter.

Joseph (Jake)Thomas Lindsey
March 11, 2000
Funeral for Joseph (Jake) Thomas Lindsey, 78, of Falkville was Wednesday, March 15, at 2:00 p.m. at Oden Ridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Kinney officiating.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Lindsey died Saturday, March 11, 2000, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was a native of Morgan County and was retired from Ellet Neon Sign Company of Springfield, Ohio, as a sign installer. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II with 36 month of service in the South and West Pacific.
He is survived by his wife, Venia Drinkard Lindsey of Falkville; five sons, Joseph Thomas Lindsey, Jr., of Loon Lake, Wash., Frank Glenn Lindsey of Springfield, Ohio, Allen (Dale) Lindsey of Lakemore, Ohio, Richard A. Simmons of Falkville and David Simmons of Eva; five daughters, Virginia (Jude) Collier of Lakemore; Rosemary Bartram and Leisha Simmons, both of Falkville, Donna Hillyer of Akron, Ohio, and Teresa Kinney of Eva; one brother, Waymon Lindsey of Mesa, Ariz.; two sisters, Lucille Dillon and Gladys Hindricks, both of Mesa; 23 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Richard Simmons, Larry Bartram, David Simmons, Larry McDonald, David Holmes and Terry Holmes.

Frank C. Collier

Funeral for Frank C. Collier, 76, of Priceville was Saturday, March 11, at 11:00 a.m. at Shelton Funeral Home with the Revs. Cecil Berry and Eric Maddox officiating.
Burial was in the Collier Family Cemetery.
Mr. Collier died Wednesday, March 8, 2000, at his residence He was a native of Morgan County and a lifelong member and deacon of Cave Springs Baptist Church. He was a retired farmer and maintenance mechanic at Monsanto, now Solutia, Inc., where he worked for 27 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the widower of Hazel Maude Pence Collier.
He is survived by two sons, Tommy Collier and Jerry Collier, both of Priceville; one brother, Jack Collier of Decatur; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Joe Collier, Jimmy Sivley, Alton Alexander, Charles Speaks, Glenn Thompson and Pete Ivey.

Dorothy Rae Whalen
March 12, 2000
Funeral for Dorothy Rae Whalen, 70, of Moulton was Wednesday, March 15, at 2:00 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with the Revs. Duane Maas and David Lewis officiating.
Burial was in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Whalen died Sunday, March 12, 2000, at Lawrence Baptist Medical Center. She was a native of Youngstown, Ohio, and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband, James Steven Whalen of Moulton; three sons, Stephen James Whalen of Muscle Shoals, Edward Steven Whalen of South Carolina and William Lee Whalen of Decatur; two daughters, Janie Ruth Belvins of Trinity and Mary Jane Stewart of Hartselle; one sister, Jeannie Strafey of Youngstown, Ohio; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Pallbearers were Ricky Blevins, Jimmy Blevins and Stephen Blevins.

Ruby Chunn Jennings
March 13, 2000
Funeral for Ruby Chunn Jennings, 95, of Valhermoso Springs was Wednesday, March 15, at 3:00 p.m. at Valhermoso Springs Christian Church with the Rev. Clint Coffey officiating.
Burial was in Valhermoso Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Jennings died Monday, March 13, 2000, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was a native of Morgan County and a lifetime member of Valhermoso Springs Christian Church. In 1997, she was named "Deaconess Emeritus" of her church. She was preceded in death by two sons, Elliott Jennings and Cornal Jennings, Jr.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Jennings of Houston, Tex., and Lloyd Jennings of Sanford, N.C.; one sister, Sarah Rodgers of Pensacola, Fla.; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Dan Lenox, Billy Oakes, Pat Matkin, Jerry Sims, T.P. Turney and Ralph Campbell.

Ida Whisante

Funeral for Ida Whisante, 60, of Lacey's Spring was Monday, March 13, at 2:00 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Matroni officiating.
Burial was in Lipscomb Cemetery near Lacey's Spring with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Whisante died Friday, March 10, 2000, at her residence. She was a native of Madison County.
She is survived by four sons, Mike McQuiston and Donnie Whisante, both of Lacey's Spring; Billy Stover of Huntsville and Harless Whisante of Valhermoso Springs; four daughters, Anita McQuiston and Jackie Epling, both of Lacey's Spring, Carol Jean Duke of Somerville and Sandy Taybor of Huntsville; one brother, Houston Bradford of Valhermoso Springs; two sisters, Inez Ashley of Lacey's Spring and Bethal Parcus of Lincoln; 15 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Pallbearers were Donnie Lanier, Andy Parcus, John Parcus, Monrow Parcus, Al Thompson and Robby Thornberry.
