John Holland Whitworth
January 16, 2003

Funeral for John Holland Whitworth, 77, of Moulton was Sunday, Jan. 19, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Roger Aldridge and Rickey McAbee officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery in Danville with military honors.
Mr. Whitworth died Thursday, Jan. 16, 2003 at his residence. A native of Lincoln County, Tenn., he served in the service during World War II, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He was retired from the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Holiness Church of Christ. He was the widower of Hilda Marie Whitworth.
He is survived by five sons, John Louis Whitworth of Bankhead Forest, Holland Wayne Whitworth, Farren Maxwell Whitworth and Jack S. Whitworth, all of Five Points, and Danny Whitworth of Danville; three daughters, Janice Marie Glover of Speake, Sherry Kay Campbell of Mount Hope and Rose Mary Greay of Hartselle; one brother, T. A. Whitworth of Michigan; three sisters, Florence Cochran and Corrine Cox, both of Tennessee, and Mable Whitworth of Florida; 19 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were military and grandsons.

Randal Keith Grizzard

A memorial service for Randal Keith Grizzard, 43, of Decatur was Tuesday, May 9, at 2:00 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ted Agee officiating.
Mr. Grizzard died Saturday, May 6, 2000, at his residence. He was a native of Morgan County and an employee of Sonoco, Inc. for more than 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Grizzard of Decatur; two sons, Randy Keith Grizzard and Brandon Carl Grizzard, both of Decatur; one daughter, Angela Marie Clem of Danville; his mother and stepfather, Calene and Ralph Boudreaux, Jr. of Anniston; one sister, Melissa C. Boudreaux of Jacksonville; and two granddaughters.

Henry (Ray) Hagamaker
May 8, 2000

Funeral for Henry (Ray) Hagamaker, 61, of Trinity was Wednesday, May 10, at 2:00 p.m. at New Vision Church with the Revs. B.L. Hale, Jr., and Chris Fuller officiating.
Burial was in Caddo Cemetery with Parkway Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Hagamaker died Monday, May 8, 2000, at Lawrence Baptist Medical Center. He was a native of Morgan County and a member and elder at New Vision Church. He was a retired city of Decatur public works supervisor.
He is survived by his wife, Edith June Hagamaker of Trinity; one son, Kenneth Hagamaker of Trinity; one daughter, Brenda Watkins of Somerville; one brother, Billy Hagamaker of Moulton; two sisters, Faye Smith of Moulton and Geneveive Stewart of Smyrna, Tenn.; three grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Maxine Griffith
January 23, 2003

Funeral for Maxine Griffith, 69, of Hartselle was Saturday, Jan. 25, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Clyde Goodlett and Rusty Hodges officiating.
Burial was in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Griffith died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2003, at Hartselle Medical Center. A native of Morgan County, she was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was the sister of the late Cecil Garrison, Lurlene Simpson and Martha Dobbs.
She is survived by her husband, John Griffith, Jr. of Hartselle; three sons, Oscar Griffith of Moulton, Mike Griffith of Falkville and Ricky Griffith of Logan; three daughters, Charlotte McReath of Hartselle, Shelia Hood of Moulton and Becky Pigg of Vinemont; one sister, Murlene Pogue of Carrolton; 11 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Mike Griffith, Ricky Griffith, Johnny Griffith, Dustin Griffith, Brian McReath, Lori Knox and Nick Griffith.
Honorary pallbearers were grandsons and son-in-laws.

Mary Corrine Stockton
May 2, 2000

Funeral for Mary Corrine Stockton, 80, of Decatur was Thursday, May 4, at 11:00 a.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Larry Lang officiating.
Burial was in Montgomery Cemetery.
Mrs. Stockton died Tuesday, May 2, 2000, at her residence. She was a native of Lawrence County and a member of Five Points Christian Church. She was the widow of Dayton Leon Stockton.
She is survived by two daughters, Doris Ridgeway of Decatur and Mary Dayton Morrow of Hartselle; one sister, Geneva Appleton of Moulton; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Josephine Johnson Olson
May 7, 2000

A memorial service for Josephine Johnson Olson, 58, of West Nyack, N.Y., a native of Hartselle, was Tuesday, May 9, at 11:00 a.m. at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home.
Mrs. Olson died Sunday, May 7, 2000, at Orange County Residential Health Care Facility in Goshen. She was a native of Morgan County and was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Johnson Daniels and Willodean Tyler, both of Hartselle.
She is survived by four daughters, Crystal Kresback of Middletown, N.Y., Bonita Olson of Houston, Tex., Alice Jean Steele of Moorstown, W.Va. and Cynthia Olson of West Nyack; one brother, J.E. White of Hartselle; two sisters, Chris White Pearsall of Stony Point, N.Y., and Stella White Quick of Hanceville; seven grandchildren; and her former husband, Bobby Olson.

Oscar Clinton Murphy
May 9, 2000

Funeral for Oscar Clinton Murphy, 88, of Summerford Nursing Home, Falkville, will be Thursday, May 11, at 11:00 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Bob Archibald and Rev. Kenneth Weldon officiating.
Burial will be in Falkville City Cemetery.
Mr. Murphy died Tuesday, May 9, 2000, at Summerford Nursing Home. He was a native of Morgan County, an L&N Railroad employee for 32 years and a life time member of AFL-CIO. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Falkville.
He is survived by his wife, Lillie Murphy of Summerford Nursing Home, Falkville; one son, John Franklin Murphy of Decatur; two daughters, Judy Murphy Brown of Hartselle and Diane Murphy Blankenship of Decatur; two brothers, W.L. Murphy of Hartselle and Edward Murphy of Falkville; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Chris Brown, Clint Blankenship, Daniel Blankenship, Jeremy Woodall, A.J. Brown, Bobby Terry and Austin Terry.
