Marguerite H. Wilson
Marguerite H. Wilson, 86, Marbury, died on May 18, 2000, at her residence.
She was born in Mississippi, the daughter of Katie Catherine Bennett and the late John A. Haddock. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include one son, Wayne F. Wilson, Atlanta, Ga., and two granddaughters.

Vannie Mae Wallace
Funeral services for Vannie Mae Wallace, 88, Maplesville, will be held at Pleasant Grove Baptist No. 2 on Tuesday, May 23, 2000, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Mike Jones officiating.
Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery No. 2 in Maplesville, with Martin Funeral Home directing.
Wallace was born on March 2, 1912, the daughter of the late George and Annie White. She was a homemaker. She died on May 21, 2000, at her home.
Survivors include three sons, Aubry Wallace and Jesse Wallace, Maplesville, and Roy Wallace, Jr., Maplesville; one daughter, Myrtle Daniels, Clanton; one sister, Lou Cadenhead, Tuscaloosa; one brother, Ernest M. White, Paxton; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Kathryn Hayes Wade
Funeral services for Kathryn Hayes Wade, 88, Clanton, will be held on Friday, May 26, 2000, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jay Hurd officiating.
Burial will follow at Clanton City Cemetery, with Martin Funeral Home directing.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 26, 2000, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel from 10-11 a.m.
Wade was born on April 13, 1912, in Chilton County, the daughter of the late Julius Poe and Celeste Hayes. She was a homemaker. She died on May 24, 2000, at Hatley Health Care in Clanton.
Survivors include James Q. (Jim) Wade, Jr., San Diego, Calif.; three daughters, Linda Wade Hancock, Missouri City, Texas, Kathryn Wade, Houston, Texas, and Julie Wade Howson, Tucker, Ga.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Oscar B. Plier
Funeral services for Oscar B. Plier, 87, Jemison, will be held on Friday, May 26, 2000, at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, with Rev. Frank Nelson and Rev. Ray Smitherman officiating.
Burial will follow at Midway Memorial Gardens in Jemison, with Martin Funeral Home directing.
Plier was born on Aug. 7, 1912, in Chilton County, the son of the late George A. Plier and Mary Frances Plier. He was a residential contractor. He died on May 24, 2000, at Shelby Medical Center in Alabaster.
Survivors include his wife, Ollie Mae Plier, Jemison; two daughters, Lottie Bryant, Jemison, and Gearlene Hughes, Clanton; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren. He was preceded by one son, Gene Plier.

Raymond Caleb Sanders
Funeral services for Raymond Caleb Sanders were held at First Baptist Church in Butler on Saturday, May 27, with Bumpers Funeral Home in Butler directing.
Sanders was born on Oct. 3, 1994, the son of Vonda Webb of Butler and Raymond F. Sanders of Tuscaloosa. He died on May 24, 2000.
Survivors include his mother, Vonda Webb, Butler; his father, Raymond F. Sanders, Tuscaloosa; one sister, Samantha Sanders, Camden; five grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William H. Sanders, Maplesville; Mr. and Mrs. David Ford, Butler; and Jenny Luster, Clanton.

Jettie Myrtle Piece
Funeral services for Jettie Mrytle Pierce, 92, Verbena, will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2000, at 3 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Olen P. Hutchins and Rev. Joe Wyatt officiating.
Burial will be at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Verbena, with Martin Funeral Home officiating.
Pierce was born on July 10, 1907, in Alabama, the daughter of the late Clyde Leon and Josephine Pierce. She was a manager. She died on May 26, 2000, at Wetumpka Nursing Facility.
Survivors include four sisters, Thelma Pierce, Verbena, Jewell Scott, Prattville, Joyce Fitzgerald, Lakeland, Fla., and Shirley Owens, Clanton; three brothers, Herbert Pierce, Fairhope, James Pierce, Clanton, and Buddy Pierce, Enterprise; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Ruth A. Carroll
Funeral services for Ruth A. Carroll, 93, Elmore, were held on Sunday, May 28, 2000, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Braxton Baker and Rev. Scott Griffith officiating.
Burial followed at Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton, with Martin Funeral Home directing.
Carroll was born on Oct. 4, 1906, in Alabama, the daughter of the late Hugh G. and Clara Atkinson. She was a homemaker. She died on May 26, 2000, at SunBridge Health Care in Elmore.
Survivors include one son, John Carroll, Clanton; one daughter, Kay Ballard, Elmore; one brother, Pace Atkinson, Headland; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Homer Carroll.
