Burial will follow at Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.
Born on July 16, 1927 to Obie Moates Sr. and Loretta Moates, he died May 29, 2003 at his residence in Clanton.
Survivors include his daughters Veleda Popwell of Clanton, Patricia Wilson of Clanton and Francine Wood of Clanton; son Obie Moates, III of Clanton; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife Velma Moates and daughter Eva Keener.
Nellogene M. Little:
Services for Nellogene M. Little, 82 of Birmingham, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2003 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Greg Tucker officiating.
Burial will follow at Midway Memorial in Jemison
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2003 at Martin Funeral Home.
Born on Sept. 28, 1920 to Wm. Randall Morgan and Ida Lee Morgan, she died May 26, 2003 at her residence in Birmingham.
Survivors include her sons Leon Dyer of Branchville and Doug Little of Chelsea; daughters Dixie Dyer Dober of Sugarhill, Ga. and Mary Ann Webb of Birmingham; step-son Jim Little of Pelham; brothers Roy Morgan of Pleasant Grove, Olen Morgan of Pensacola, Fla., brother James Morgan of Miami, Fla. and Preston Morgan of Kissimmee, Fla.; sister Thelma Beene of Birmingham; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Houston Little.
Minnie Lois Hickman:
Funeral services for Minnie Lois Hickman, 77 of Clanton, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 23 at Walnut Creek Methodist Church with Rev. Tony Hughes and Rev. Jim Popwell officiating.
Burial will follow in Thorsby Memorial Cemetery.
Born on May 20, 1926 to Homer Henson and Minnie Henson, she died May 21, 2003 at Shelby Medical Center in Alabaster.
Survivors include her daughter Nina (Jerry Sr.) Tippett of Clanton; grandsons Jerry Tippett, Jr. of Clanton and Kyle Collins of Phoenix, Ariz.; granddaughter Renee Collins of Washington; great-grandchild Crimsynn Tippett of Clanton; sister Ruth Brown of Clanton.
Charles Virgil Baker Logan:
