MYRTLE F. CATO
Myrtle F. Cato, 91, of Little Rock, retired from WalMart, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2004. She was born Aug. 16, 1912, in Acklin Gap, a member of Sunset Lane Baptist Church and retired from WalMart at the age of 82. She was preceded in death by her husband Alvin Cato; parents Jessie and Hattie Hughes; two brothers and two sisters. Surviving are a sister Gladola Young of Pine Bluff; children Oleta Duncan and her husband Ray of Little Rock, Harrel Cato and his wife Judy of Rogers, Reba Watts and her husband Doyle "Sonny" of Bryant; seven grandchildren, Diane Cwenar, Lloyd Duncan, Gene Duncan, Randy Watts, Tracye Forthmon, Brian Watts and Regina Donnell; 11 great grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Funeral was Wednesday, March 10, at Needs Creek Baptist Church, with Bro. Harrell Cato officiating. Burial was at Needs Creek Cemetery. Arrangements were by Griffin Leggett Forest Hills.

WILLIAM JOSEPH LOVELL
William Joseph Lovell, 76, of Benton, retired from Alcoa after 37 years and a farmer, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2004. He was born on Aug. 26, 1927, in Saline County. He served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Floyds Bay. He was a former Justice of the Peace and a member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church. He was named Farm Family of the year twice, served on the Farm Bureau Board for several years and was a member of the Cattlemen's Association. He was preceded in death by his parents John W. and Viola Lovell; and a sister Olga McPherson. Surviving are his wife Patsy Lovell of Benton; seven children Jolene Duff and husband David of Benton, Dric Lovell of Hackett; Lanny Lovell and wife June, of Benton, Chase William Lovell of Benton, Lauren Lovell of Benton, Debra Westenhaver and husband Randy of North Little Rock, and Dana Thalmueller of Little Rock; four sisters Margie Willis of Benton, Arvella Krause and husband Dick of Benton, Anna Mae Ball and husband Bob of Arkadelphia, and Francis Izard of Bryant; 19 grandchildren Gary Wayne Lovell, Sherri Lovell Smith, Amanda Lovell Purtle, Glen Duff, Chris Duff, Tiffani Duff, Yancey Duff, Tony Duff, Kristi Duff, Cheyenne Lovell Cantrell, Matt Hollowell, Lance Lovell, Jayme Hollowell, Lani Lovell, Scot Mattox, Jeff Mattox, Katy Tipton, John Tipton and Luke Witham; 16 great-grandchildren and numerous other family relatives. Funeral was Tuesday, March 9, at Sharon Missionary Baptist Church, with David Duff and Rev. Richard Hamlin officiating. Burial was at Kentucky Cemetery. Arrangements were by Ashby Funeral Home of Benton. Pallbearers were Ronnie Purtle, Yancey Duff, Tony Duff, Cheyenne Cantrell, Matt Hollowell, Jeff Mattox, Luke Witham, Dale Johnson, Chase Lovell, Lance Lovell and Darryl Hardin.

HELLEN MARGUERITE "PENNY" OLIVER
Hellen Marguerite "Penny" Oliver, 84, of Benton, a homemaker, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2004. She was born on Aug. 9, 1919, in Griffithville and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Benton. She was preceded in death by her parents and two husbands Julian Slayton Smith and Kenneth Moore Oliver. Surviving are four daughters Margaret Suitt and husband Bill of Bryant, Judy Smith of North Little Rock, Judith Cleand and husband Bill of Little Rock, Nancy Jones and husband Calvin of Little Rock; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Graveside services were Tuesday, March 9, at Oak Grove Cemetery in Searcy. Arrangements were by Ashby Funeral Home of Benton. The family requests that memorials be made to the Arkansas Children's Hospital Childlife and Education Department at 800 Marshall St., Little Rock, AR 72202; or the American Heart Association at 909 W. 2nd St., Little Rock, AR 72201.

Ros Priebe of Hattiesburg, Miss., went to be with Jesus on Thursday, March 4, 2004. Surviving are his wife Vicki; son Sean of Hattiesburg; daughter Michelene Meachum of Bryant; grandsons Gannon Priebe and Kyle Meachum; and his mother Thelma Priebe of Purvis, Miss. LOUIS EDWARD "TEDDY" BILLING
Louis Edward "Teddy" Billing, 67, of Collegeville, died March 1, 2004, in Midway City, Calif. He was preceded in death by his parents Fred "Bub" and Mary Billing of Collegeville. Surviving are his wife Romona; a son Kevin and his wife Angela; and children Kimberly and Ryan, all of Midway City; a sister Alene and her husband Allen Bearden; two brothers Henry and wife Tommye Billing, and Jerry and wife Louise Billing all of Collegeville; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A memorial service in his memory was held Friday, March 5, 2004 at the Collegeville Church of the Nazarene,

BENNIE PATTERSON
Bennie Patterson, 78, of Little Rock, retired from Aetna Life Insurance Company, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2004, in Bryant. Born Dec. 3, 1925 in Centerville to Millard Filmore and Ethel Mae Myers Clark, she was a member of Sardis United Methodist Church and the Order of Eastern Star. She was predeceased by her parents; and husbands Lloyd McKissey and Richard Patterson; and a brother Russell Clark. Surviving are a stepson and his wife Michael and Joan Patterson of Lenexa, Kansas; two sisters Anna Clark of Lee Summit, Mo., and Lawena Yeager of Florissant, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral was Friday, March 5, at Sardis United Methodist Church, with Rev. Jeff Jones officiating. Burial was at Petillo Hill Cemetery. Arrangements were by Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth. ROBERT L. STANTON
Robert L. Stanton, 82, of North Little Rock, a retired police captain, died Saturday, Feb. 28, after a brief illness. Born March 10, 1921, to the late Oscar L. and Nora Dickinson Stanton, he was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years Muriel Puckett Stanton; brothers Jerry and Jimmy Stanton; and sister Margaret Robbins. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and retired from the North Little Rock Police Department. Surviving are daughters Barbara Balentine of North Little Rock, Sharon Tuggle of Puyallup, Wash., and Carol Fullaway of Vilonia; sons Roger Stanton of Maumelle and John C. Stanton of Conway; brothers W.J. Stanton of Mabelvale and Rev. Ted Stanton of Bryant; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; special niece Meredith Oakley; and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral was Wednesday, March 3, at Huson Funeral Home, with, Rev. Ted Stanton officiating. Burial was at Rest Hills Memorial Park. Robert Charles "Bob" Rollison, 62, of DeWitt, a seed dealer, died Monday, March 1, 2004, at his home. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and a special and beloved husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents O.G. and Rose Rollison; and brother Gilbert Rollison. Surviving are his wife Deborah McIntosh Rollison; children Amy Rollison Holbert and her husband Heath, of DeWitt, Jennifer Rollison Allen and her husband Michael, of Alexandria, Va., David Allen Wright of Alexander, Jamie Bisswanger and her husband Keith, of Camden; five grandchildren Rustin and Ryan Eason, Caroline and William Allen, and Madelyn Bisswanger. Mary Ellen Culpepper, 42, of Mabelvale departed this life on Thursday, March 4, 2004. Surviving are her loving husband Montie Lee Culpepper; parents Carl and Betty Farler of Mabelvale; sister Sandra Simmons of Lenexa, Kansas; brothers Tom Farler and Doug Farler, both of Mabelvale, and Mike Farler of Cabot; nieces Amy Simmons, Audrey Farler and Haydn Farler; and nephews Seth Farler, Kyle Simmons, Josh Farler, and Anthony Farler. Surviving are her husband Jess; two daughters Shirley Neal and Bobbie Sue Hester; a brother Jack; two sisters Mona Allred and Joe Dell Avaritt; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews. Winard M. Sumners, 83, of Benton died Monday, March 1, 2004. Funeral was Thursday, March 4, 2004 at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services were at Woodlawn Cemetery in El Dorado.
