Beatrice Hughes

Beatrice (Bea) Hughes, 85, of Clarksville died Monday, Jan. 24, 2005, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
She was a daughter of the late Dowen D. and Cary Hogan Dunsworth, native of Van Buren County, retired beautician and member of the First Baptist Church in Knoxville.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Gordon Hughes; two stepsons, Robert Jerry Hughes of Osceola and Larry Dean Hughes of Dover; one stepdaughter, Arlia Mae Thomas of Russellville; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial were at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 27, at Rest Haven Memorial Park under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.

Carla D. Williams

Carla Dawn Williams, 45, of Coal Hill died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005, from injuries sustained in a one-vehicle accident in Albuquerque, N. M.
She was a nurse and was preceded in death by one grandson, Zachary Parker.
Survivors include her husband, Michael J. Williams; one daughter and son-in-law, Leah and Tracy Brown of Coal Hill; two sons and daughters-in-law, Brandon and Kristal Parker of Coal Hill and Hank and Sundi Williams of Clarksville; parents, Lawrence Don and Shirley Hanson Parker of Coal Hill; one sister, Tracy Warren of Coal Hill; one brother, Larry Parker of Ozark; and seven grandchildren, Ariel and Braxton Eddy, Hayley and Caleb Parker, Chelsie Boswell, Derek Brown, and Aspen Williams.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 3, at the Jamestown Assembly of God Church with Rev. Amos Pledger officiating.
Burial will be in Hess cemetery at Coal Hill under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers will be Randy Muldoon, Chris Nagel, Bret Nagel, Jerry Parker, Tommy Hanson, and Ronnie Fannon.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Parker and Lewis Morrow.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Georgia H. Hendrix

Georgia H. Hendrix, 82, of Clarksville died Friday, Jan. 28, 2005, in Johnson Regional Medical Center.
She was a native of Baldwin, daughter of the late John Taylor and Eutha Mae Over Little, widow of Wilburn Hendrix, member of First Baptist Church, retired from the alteration department of Quality Cleaners, and also did alterations in her home for several years.
She is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Wayne Pyron of Clarksville; one brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Janey Little of Clarksville; caregiver, LaVerne Wages of Clarksville; and special friends, Leon and Joyce Strope of Fayetteville.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Robert Brown officiating.
Burial was in Liberty Hill cemetery at Hunt under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Charles Over, Gene Over, Darrell Over, Chad Over, Brian Covington, and Steven Campbell.

Henry J. McKnight

Henry Jacob McKnight, 84, of Vader, Wash., died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2005, near Toledo, Wash.
He was a native of the Harmony Community, son of the late Jesse and Tula Self McKnight, grew up in Hartman, Mountain Top and on the Mulberry River, joined the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) at Ozone in 1937 and the Navy in 1941 where he served in World War II and the Korean War. He was a former resident of Adna, Wash., former employee of Boeing, Geislers Sawmill, Palmer Lumber, Standard Dairy, Weyerhaeuser, off-road truck driver, and raised cattle and horses.
He was preceded in death by five brothers, Verlin, Leonard, Robert (Bel), Talmadge, and Finas Lee; and one granddaughter, Ashley Nelson.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years Cathryn McKnight; six daughters, Alice McKnight of Toledo, Wash., Elaine Anagnostou of Sparks, Nev., Glenda Dailey of Castle Rock, Wash., Marcia Christensen of Woodland, Wash., and Anita De La Rosa and Lynn McKnight, both of Vader, Wash.; one son, Mark McKnight of Murrieta, Calif.; one sister, Lucy Black; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral was Saturday, Jan. 22, at Fir Lawn Chapel in Toledo, Wash., followed by graveside services at Little Falls cemetery.
Pallbearers were grandsons, Joey McKnight, Royce Anagnostou, Bill Dailey, Kenneth Dailey, Jacob McKnight, Wesley Dailey, Chad Nelson, Kyle Santo and Tal De La Rosa.
Memorials may be made to Cascade Dog Handlers, Lewis County Courthouse, Chehalis, WA 98532 or Lewis County Search and Rescue, Lewis County Courthouse, Chehalis, WA 98532.

James Robert Brown

James Robert Brown, 56, of La Puente, Calif., died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005, at his home.
He was a native of Clarksville, son of the late Hoyt and Helen Mae Dickerson Brown, graduate of La Puente (California) High School, Vietnam war veteran, retired truck driver for La Puente Ready Mix after 31 years of service, member of the California Pigeon Shooting Club, National Skeet Shooting Association and American Trap Shooting Association.
He is survived by one brother, Jerry Brown of La Puente, Calif.; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2, at Hardwicke Funeral Chapel with Rev. Larry Horne officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Hill cemetery at Hunt.
Pallbearers will be Al Davis, Glenn Brown, Johnny Blevins, Chris Brown, Steve Brown, and Rodger Callahan.

Kyler Richards

Kyler Tye Richards, infant son of Stephanie Andert of Ozark and Kenneth Richards of Altus, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2005, at his home.
He was born July 20, 2004, in Fort Smith.
Other survivors include one brother, Cameron Andert of Ozark; maternal grandmother, Dana Goodson of Texarkana; paternal grandmother, Sharon Barnhouse of Altus; maternal great-grandparents, Larry and Judy Andert of Ozark and Sarah Cox of Murfreesboro; and paternal great-grandmother, Wanda Long of Coal Hill.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21, at Calvary Baptist Church in Ozark with Rev. Coyce Couch officiating.
Burial was in Coal Hill cemetery under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.

Mollie M. Webb

Mollie Mae Webb, 69, of Ozone died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2005, at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith.
She was a daughter of the late William Andrew and Nora Ellen Webb and a Baptist.
Survivors are her husband, Harrison Webb; four daughters, Mary Keith and Helen Whitfield, both of Ozone, Martha Busby of Fort Payne, Ala., and Bonnie Webb of Mentone, Ala.; two sons, Ronald Webb of Blountsville, Ala., and Andy Webb of Ozone; 15 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Sory officiating. Burial was in Salus cemetery.
Pallbearers were Al Busby, Billy Keith, Todd Webb, Coley Webb, Daniel Whitfield, and Jeremiah Whitfield.

Von B. Allen

Von B. Allen, 90, of Sun City Center, Fla., died Friday, Jan. 28, 2005, in Sun City Center, Fla.
A native of Clarksville, he was a son of the late Joe and Vivian Baskin Allen, member of the Andrews Presbyterian Church and had been a resident of Sun City Center, Fla., since 1989 having moved from Clarksville.
Survivors include his wife, Irene Allen; one daughter, Sherry Allen of Las Vegas, Nev.; one son, Larry Joe Allen of Independence, Mo.; two sisters, Joanne Neumann of San Diego, Calif., and Geri Schuepbach of Kansas City, Mo.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 3, at Harmony cemetery with Rev. Bob King officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2, at Hardwicke Funeral Home.
