Gracie Belcher

Gracie Belcher, 66, of Lamar died Sunday, Sept. 17, 2006, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
She was a daughter of the late Henry Willis and Ruth Busbea Willcut, widow of John Matthew Belcher, member of the Church of Christ, and was preceded in death by one son, Edward Lee Belcher.
She is survived by one daughter, Judy Mae Sutterfield and husband, David, of Lamar; one son, William Matthew Belcher of Clarksville; two brothers, Clay Willcut and wife, Loretta, of Dardanelle and Glen Willcut and wife, Mary Ann, of Tennessee; four sisters, Mary Hogland and husband, Leon, Deloris Powell and Virginia Mitchenson, all of Wynne, and Ann Eldridge and husband, John, of Forrest City; and three grandchildren, Josh Stanley, Patrick Pierce and David Sutterfield.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20, at the 5th and Greenwich Church of Christ in Russellville with Richard Kirkland officiating.
Burial will be in the St. Paul's cemetery in Moreland under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Pallbearers wll be David Sutterfield Jr., Joshua Stanley and Patrick Pierce.

Gordon C. Morgan

Gordon C. Morgan, 83, of Clarksville died Monday, Sept. 18, 2006, at Countryside Manor Nursing Home.
He was a son of the late Rodrick Morgan and Goldy Kirdstead and a retired heating and air employee.
Survivors include his wife, Dorthy J. Field Morgan; one daughter, Gail Atwell of Lamar; one son, Dan Morgan of Dallas, Texas; one sister, Vivian Mally of Chicago, Ill.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with James Lemley officiating.
The body will be cremated.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Gayl Lynn Rowan

Gayl Lynn Rowan, 44, great-niece of William Leon Holt of Lamar, died Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2006, in Fort Smith.
She was born in Tulsa, Okla., and preceded in death by her father, Charles Ruben Thomas Sr.; one brother, Harold James Thomas; grandparents, Joe and Helen Holt Sartor; and great-grandparents, Bill and Susie Holt of Lamar.
She is survived by her husband, Rex Rowan; mother, Martha Jo Jacobs of Fort Smith; one sister, Beverly Sue McGuire of Arkoma, Okla.; one brother, Charles Ruben (Red) Thomas Jr. of Glenpoole, Okla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services and burial were at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11, at the Roselawn cemetery in Fort Smith with Rev. Ronnie Gilmore officiating.

Helen F. Sartor

Helen Florence Holt Sartor, 84, sister of William Leon Holt of Lamar, died Friday, Sept. 8, 2006, in Fort Smith.
She was a native of Dublin, daughter of the late William (Bill) Jefferson and Susie Crossland Holt of Lamar, and was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Sartor; one son, David Sartor.
Other survivors include four daughters, Helen Sue Thomas and Flossie Emmaline Snell, both of Van Buren, Martha Jo Jacobs of Fort Smith, and Maudie L. Summers of Mulberry; 21 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, at the Butterfield Assembly of God Church in Van Buren with Rev. Ronnie Gilmore officiating. Burial was at the Gracelawn cemetery in Van Buren.
Pallbearers were Steven Valdick, Michael Walker, Robert Standiford, Thomas Canady, Raymond Thomas, and Scott Pulliam.

Harold E. Williams

Harold Edward Williams, 56, of Clarksville died Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2006, at his home.
He was a native of Eagle Mills, son of the late Exill and Alma Thrower Williams, graduate of Ouachita County High School in Bearden, employed as a lineman supervisor for Clarksville Light & Water Company for 34 years, retired fireman for Clarksville Fire Department, member of the Johnson County Peach Festival Association where he once served as grand marshall, served in the U. S. Army several years and the Arkansas National Guard, and was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Leroy Williams.
Survivors include one daughter, Alicia Williams of Washington, D. C.; two sons, Harold Williams Jr. of Branson, Mo., and Tyrone Lindsey Williams and wife, Heather, of Hot Springs; former wife, Patricia Lindsey Williams; two sisters, Mary Griffith and husband, Charles, and Edith Carolyn Williams, all of Eagle Mills; four brothers, Charles H. Williams of Fort Smith, John T. Williams and wife, Dell, of Jacksonville, Fla., Jimmie L. Williams and wife, Gloria, of Eagle Mills, and Benny R. Williams of Little Rock; and three grandchildren, Arbrianna Jordan Lindsey and Tyanna Lindsey, both of Hot Springs, and Jayvious Williams of Washington, D. C.
Funeral was at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at the Clarksville Church of Christ with Rev. Amos Pledger officiating. A second service was held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 18, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Camden. Burial was in Pleasant Grove Community cemetery at Camden. Arrangements were under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Clarksville Light & Water employees.

Lydia Doepel

Lydia Doepel, 94, of Augsburg died Sunday, Sept. 17, 2006, at AMI St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.
She was a native of Augsburg, daughter of the late John F. and Louise Uellner Harms, widow of Frank E. Doepel, and member of the Zion Lutheran Church.
Survivors are three sons, Ralph Doepel of Augsburg, Milton Doepel of Newcastle, Okla., and Robert Doepel of Oklahoma City, Okla.; three grandchildren, Amy Denney of Russellville, Jason Doepel of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Jennifer Doepel of Newcastle, Okla.; two great-grandchildren, Megan Mauldin and Trae Scott, both of Russellville; two sisters, Lucy Miller of Tracy, Calif., and Bernice Hickey of Stockton, Calif.; one brother, John Harold Harms of Augsburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, at Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Thom Lakso officiating.
Burial will be at Zion Lutheran cemetery at Augsburg under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service of Russellville.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20, at Humphrey Funeral Service.
Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, General Fund, 93 Augsburg Road, London, AR 72847.

Lenora N. Rivas

Lenora Novella Rivas, 70, of Hartman died Saturday, Sept. 16, 2006, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
She was a daughter of the late Thomas Rubene and Vivan Wilks Bingham, and was preceded in death by two sons, George Lee and Micheal Shane Bell; and one sister, Mary Betha Maxwell.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Rivas; four daughters, Nora Catherine Folsom, Cucu Rodriguez, and Gracilla Rivas, all of Marble Falls, Texas, and Alta Gomaz of Russellville; five sons, W. C. Bell Jr. of Hartman, Dennis W. Bell and Bobby Allen Bell, both of Marble Falls, Texas, Raul Rivas of Houston, Texas, and Reyes Rivas of Louisiana; two sisters, Verdene Hart of Marble Falls, Texas, and Patsy Deluna of Kingsland, Texas; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The body was cremated.
Arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Patricia B. Lucio

Patricia Bernal Lucio, 52, of Clarksville died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by one son, Hef-Siba Flores; parents, Francisco Javier Bernal and Angelina Lucio; and one sister, Juana Bernal.
Survivors include her husband, Jose Luis Flores; one daughter, Julia Patricia Flores of Clarksville; two sons, Javier Flores and Abish Flores, both of Mexico; two brothers, Javier Bernal of California and Macario Bernal of Mexico; and two sisters, Amparo Bernal of Mexico and Angelina Bernal of California.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
