Loy Dean Miller

Loy Dean Miller, 73, of Lamar died Thursday, March 17, 2005, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
He was a son of the late John Franklin and Georgia Ann Tilley Miller, veteran of the Korean War, employed as a truck driver for Johnson County, and was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Smith Miller; one daughter, Judy Norwood of Lamar; one son, Terry Dean Miller and wife, Debbie, of Knoxville; and two grandchildren.
Funeral was at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 19, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Blair officiating. Burial was in Holman cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Brad Miller, Clint Ratliff, Bo Miller, Leon Bachus, Loyd Reynolds and Norman Reynolds.
Honorary pallbearers were Larry Bates, Arnold Turner, Junior Warren, and Dean Castleberry.

Margo M. Ritchie

Margo Marie Ritchie, 58, of Lamar died Monday, March 21, 2005, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
She was a daughter of the late George and Wilberta Smith Rowe.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Ritchie; three sons, Donald Ritchie Jr. and wife, Carol, and Robert Ritchie and wife, Jeannie, all of Clarksville, and Theodore Ritchie of Lamar; three sisters, Judy McColley of Georgia, Sandra Olson of Blue Springs, Mo., and Linda Weldon of Madill, Okla.; one brother, Eddie Rowe of Nebraska; and ten grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Audrey Poteet officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Hill cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mike Howard, Ashley Birkhahn, Mike Collins, Junior Walker, Jason Ritchie, Donald Ritchie III, Michael Howard Jr., and Albert Tomlinson.

Mae Standridge

Gracie Mae Standridge, 84, of Clarksville, Ind., died Saturday, March 19, 2005, at Clark County Hospital in Jeffersonville, Ind.
She was a daughter of the late Wallace and Gracie Mae Willis Minney, widow of Homer Standridge, and a former resident of Clarksville. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Jeff Meeks; one son-in-law, Paul Pottenger; one sister; and four brothers.
She is survived by four daughters, Susan Hoose and husband, Larry, of California, Mildred Hedger and husband, Jerry, of Charlotte, N. C., Wilma Pottenger of Indiana, and Bertha Rose Meeks and fiance, Hubert East, of Clarksville, Ind.; two sisters, Edith Rose of Maine and Sarah Buchanna of Missouri; one brother, Hoyt Minney of Hot Springs; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 25, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Amos Pledger officiating. Burial will be in Minnow Creek cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Eric Hartzel, Dan Rowe, Clint Melton, Keith Brown, Brent Mason, and Travis Rutledge.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Mason, Charles Brown, Ray Willis, Ray Hutchins, and Glenn Yarbrough.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 24, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Sammy G. Coats

Sammy G. Coats, 71, of Clarksville died Thursday, March 17, 2005, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
He was a native of Arkansas City, Kan., son of the late Elmer Earl and Zetola Smith Coats, member of Woodland Baptist Church, graduate of Pryor (Oklahoma) High School, attended college three years, retired U. S. Army Master Sergeant, disabled veteran, former owner of a country store, bus driver, and freight delivery owner, and was preceded in death by one brother, Earl James (Chief) Coats.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years Mona Kay Coats; one daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Lyndon Donahey of Odessa, Texas; mother-in-law, Avol Patterson of Clarksville; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Jerri and Jim Martin and Linda and Don Muller, all of Dell City, Okla., and Sue and Jerry Guadagno of Moore, Okla.; one brother and two sisters-in-law, Bill and Louise Coats of Moore, Okla., and Wanda Coats of Russellville; three grandchildren, Kennesha Russell of Houston, Texas, and Daneen Donahey and Jonathan Donahey, both of Odessa, Texas; several nieces and nephews; one brother-in-law, Tim Patterson of Clarksville; and two sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Gayle and Walter Hasler of Cassville, Mo., and T. J. and Michael Lauletta of North Tahoe, Calif.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 18, at Woodland Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Sawyer and Rev. Sam Howell officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Woodland Baptist Church, P. O. Box 1009, Clarksville, AR 72830, or to the Gideons.

Janet W. Hyatt

Janet Lynn Walker Hyatt, 51, of Jenks, Okla., died Sunday, March 20, 2005.
She was a native of Clarksville, daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth Thomas Walker, attended Tulsa (Lombard Elementary) and Jenks public schools, former manager for Dairy Queen and Rex's Boneless Chicken in Jenks, Okla., and formerly employed as a nurse at living centers and facilities in Tulsa, Okla., and the state of Washington. She was preceded in death by one sister, Linda.
Survivors include her husband, Mark Hyatt; father, Fred Walker of Jenks, Okla.; four brothers, Larry and Phillip Walker, both of Jenks, Okla., Mark Walker of Tulsa, Okla., and Doug Walker of Cushing, Okla.; one sister, Deborah Beruman of Omaha, Neb.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, at Ninde Garden Chapel in Tulsa, Okla.

Alta Lee Domerese

Alta Lee Domerese, 84, of Danville, whose daughter and son-in-law, Wilma and Lawrence Richards reside in Clarksville, died Saturday, March 26, 2005, at Mitchell's Nursing Home.
She was a native of the Spring Hill Community in Johnson County, daughter of the late Jasper and Effie Walker Gipson, widow of Roy Domerese, owned and operated businesses for 56 years, and was preceded in death by two sons, Kenneth Domerese and Alvin Roy Domerese; and also an infant son and daughter.
Other survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Wayne and Betty Domerese and Jerry and Linda Domerese, all of Danville, and Steve Domerese; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, at the Kendall cemetery with Rev. Troy Vaughn officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of Cornwell Funeral Home of Danville.

Addie L. Thronebury

Addie L. Thronebury, 86, died Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at her home in Wheatridge, Colo.
A native of Hagarville, she was a daughter of the late Charley R. and Lulu M. Curtis, Baptist, and was preceded in death by stepmothers, Millie W. Curtis and Sallie B. Curtis, and one brother, Rual L. Curtis.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years Silas N. Thronebury; two daughters, Verlene T. Leeburg and husband, Linn, and Debra J. Bloomer; three grandchildren, Glenn R. Bloomer, Donya L. Ashley and husband, Paul, and Heather A. DeCenzo and husband, Peter; four great-grandchildren, Michael D. Bloomer, Lauren M. Bloomer, Anthony R. Bloomer, and Ryan E. Ashley; and three brothers, G. W. Curtis, Robert Curtis and wife, Pat, and Carl R. Curtis and wife, Betty, of Clarksville.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, at Olinger Rose Arbor Chapel with Pastor Tom Stevens officiating. Burial was in Olinger Crown Hill cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Glenn Bloomer, Michael Bloomer, Carl Curtis, Paul Ashley, Robert Curtis, and Linn Leeburg.
Honorary pallbearer was Joe Thronebury.

Betty Jo McFadden

Betty Jo McFadden, 68, of Hartman died Tuesday, March 22, 2005, at her home.
She was a daughter of the late Mitchell and Nora Mae Bailey Baxter, widow of Buel Dean McFadden, member of the Free Jesus Name Church in Coal Hill, and had been employed by Kim Products for 15-plus years.
Survivors include four daughters and spouses, Deborah and Bobby Grigsby of Hartman, Joann and Alan Mize of Clarksville, and Sharon and Dale Patterson and Darlene and David Newman, all of California; five sons and spouses, Ronnie and Tammy Bohannon of Coal Hill, Jerry and Lois Bohannon and Lonnie Bohannon, all of Hartman, and Dean and Mela McFadden and William McFadden, all of California; one sister, Virginia Henson of Clarksville; three brothers and spouses, Jack and Debbie Baxter of Ozone, Butch and Cheryl Baxter of Lamar and Lewis Baxter of Burley, Idaho; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Dean (Charlene) Baxter; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Friday, March 25, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Amos Pledger and Rev. David Zeiler officiating. Burial was in the Cassville cemetery.
Pallbearers were Junior Ashlock, Bryan McCormick, Teddy Bohannon, Clay Bryant, Willie Baxter, and Mitchell Baxter.
