C. Stanley Robinson

Charles Stanley Robinson, 87, of Lamar died Dec. 30, 2006, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
He was a son of the late Columbus and Elsie Casey Robinson, retired farmer, and member of the Church of Christ in Lamar.
Survivors include his wife, Alma Einert Robinson; one nephew, Guy Nolan Freeman of Eugene, Ore.; and numerous cousins.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, at the Church of Christ in Lamar with Darien Downs officiating.
Burial will be in Minnow Creek cemetery under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers will be Justin Wyles, Jacob Wyles, Paul Holt, Rick Casey, Norman Davis, and Verlon Harris.
Honorary pallbearers will be George Wyles, Bob McGuire, David Wyles, and Bill Einert.

Dave Bridger Jr.

Dave Bridger Jr., 80, of Hagarville died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006, at Countryside Manor Nursing Home.
He was born at Hagarville, son of the late Dave Bridger Sr. and Sally Jane Long Bridger, graduate of Lamar High School, retired game warden, and a World War II Air Force veteran.
He is survived by one son, Philip Bridger of San Bruno, Calif.; one grandchild, Lee Ann Bridger of Oklahoma; and one great-grandchild, Johnathan Cagle of Oklahoma.
The body was cremated.
Local arrangements were under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.

Donald Roy Payne

Donald Roy Payne, 73, of Clarksville died Dec. 28, 2006, at the home of his son, Don R. Payne in Apex, N. C.
He was a son of the late Mable M. Norton and Robert S. Payne and was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma D. Payne; one brother, James R. Payne; and one sister, Elva R. Miller.
He is survived by two other sons, Larry Reece of Mount Ida and Kenneth L. Wood of Riverside, Calif.; six grandchildren, Jennifer R. Reece of Greenwood, Allison L. Floyd of Waldron, Meredith A. Reece of Fort Smith, Christopher W. Payne and Brandon R. Payne, both of Charlotte, N. C., and Kevin Wood of Clermont, Fla.; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home with Rev. John Belken officiating. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Troy Blankenship, Bill Hill, Danny Leeds, Len Bradley, Marty Howard, and Randy Gresham.
Honorary pallbearers will be Earl Green, Don Patridge, John Hill, and Dan Hagar.

David C. Seekins

David Calvin Seekins, 60, of Knoxville died Friday, Dec. 29, 2006, at his home.
A native of Prospect, Maine, he was a son of the late David A. and Dorothy Grace McIntire Seekins, Baptist, carpenter, and preceded in death by one brother, Mark Seekins, and one sister, Grace Seekins.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Higgins Seekins; two daughters, Selena Kinney of Searsmont, Maine, and Nancy Shampo of Knoxville; one son, Eddie Hignite of Clarksville; one sister, Irma Crumley of Booneville; three brothers, Wallace Pierce of Lowell, Maine, Richard Seekins of Lincolnville, Maine, and Stephen Seekins of Clarksville; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2, at Hardwicke Funeral Home with Rev. Amos Pledger officiating. Burial was in Minnow Creek cemetery.
Active pallbearers were David Lusk, Terry Curtis, Todd Higgins, Jason Higgins, Jacob Higgins, and Mike Reynolds.
Honorary pallbearers were John A. Buffington, Bobby Joe McAlister, Richard Judah, and Darwin Judah.

Jack Colburn

Jack Colburn, 73, of North Little Rock died Dec. 12, 2006.
He was a native of Coal Hill and son of the late Burse and Fern Colburn. He played and coached baseball for 30-plus years, having coached in the North Little Rock optimist club baseball program in Little League, Pony League and American League, was the voice of the Oak Grove Hornets for several years, and was a charter member of Triangle Sports Club.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Sarah Nelle Colburn; two sons, Steve Colburn and wife, Mary, of El Paso and James Colburn of North Little Rock; one daughter, Lisa Ring of Conway; two grandsons, Jeremiah Ring and Mitchell Colburn; two granddaughters, Jessie Ring and Kasey Colburn; daughter-in-law, Lisa Colburn; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Taylor and Irene Taylor; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Dec. 15 at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel with Charlie Winters officiating. Burial was in Riverwood Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers were Gary Berry, Butch McPeak, Steve Fletcher, Paul Mathews, Arvis Harper Jr., and Mike Arnold.
Honorary pallbearers were Triangle Sports Club members and DeJanis ball team.

Katrina Bradford

Katrina Bradford, 81, of Dover died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006, at her home.
A native of Memphis, Tenn., she was a daughter of the late Charles Lehman and Melissa Armour Ricks, member of the United Methodist Church, and was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, C. V. Bradford; three sons and daughters-in-law, John and Patricia Bradford of Knoxville, Bill and Cheryl Bradford of Bend, Ore., and Jim and Shirley Bradford of Clarksville; one brother, Bobby Ricks of Memphis, Tenn.; one sister, Virginia Griffin of Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, at Shinn Funeral Service Chapel in Russellville with Rev. Jim Brooks officiating. Burial was private in McFadden cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Pope County Health Department Hospice, 404 North El Paso Avenue, Russellville, AR 72801.

Nancy A. Gindler

Nancy A. Gindler, 71, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2006, at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith.
She was a native of Los Angeles, Calif., member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and Christian Mothers Society, Eucharistic minister, assisted in organizing a Monday morning prayer group, and taught art lessons for several years. She was preceded in death by one brother, Ed Grobarek of El Cajone, Calif.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Louis H. Gindler; one daughter and son-in-law, Catherine and Benjie Stalcup of Lamar; one son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Charlotte Gindler of Lamar; one granddaughter, Adrienne Gindler of Lamar; one sister and brother-in-law, Harriet and George Agreen of Pauma Valley, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
The rosary and funeral mass were at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Father William Wewers, O. S. B., officiating.
Burial was in Holy Redeemer Catholic cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Christian Mothers Society at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
