Edith Cardoza

Edith Louise Cardoza, 60, of Knoxville died Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at her home.
A native of Tupelo, Okla., she was a daughter of the late Jerril Dean and Mollie Lee Cato Hogue, owner of the Knoxville Diner, graduate of Los Banos, Calif., High School and widow of Gene Anthony Cardoza.
Survivors include three sons, Tony Cardoza and wife, Rose, of Knoxville, Joseph Cardoza and wife, Heather, and Thomas Cardoza, all of Lamar; one sister, Iris Hickey of Stockton, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
Viewing will be Thursday, April 26, at Hardwicke Funeral Home. Burial will be in Los Banos, Calif.

Estelle Harmon

Estelle Harmon, 82, of Altus died Tuesday, April 17, 2007, at Ozark.
She was a native of Alix, daughter of the late Walter and Bessie Scribner Qualls, and preceded in death by her husbands, Coy Harmon and Herbert Lee Howell; two brothers, Herbert Qualls and Earl Qualls; and one sister, Irene Moffit.
She is survived by five daughters, Ethel Vaughan of Caddo, Okla., Joyce Casey of Barling, Fay Ellis of Coal Hill, Roszetta of Portales, N. M., and Darlene Sewell of Odessa, Texas; five sons, Kenneth Howell of Altus, Vernon Howell of Ozark, Jackie Howell of Andrews, Texas, David Howell of Heber Springs, and Ricky Howell of Checotah, Okla.; two brothers, Homer Qualls of Clarksville and Harold Qualls of Ozark; 40 grandchildren; and 63 great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Friday, April 20, at Faith Pentecostal Church of God in Ozark with Rev. James Jones officiating.
Burial was in Houston cemetery at Alix under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
Pallbearers were Jessie Howell, Raymond Hill, Harvey Hill, Walter Hill, Gene Wooten, and Richard Howell.

Georgia L. Miller

Georgia L. Miller, 95, of Altus died Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at Ozark.
A native of Altus, she was a daughter of the late James N. and Lula Lovell Thomas, retired Cargill employee, member of the United Pentecostal Church in Altus, and was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Miller; one daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Earl Sullivan; one son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Evelyn Miller; one brother and sister-in-law, Clyde and Lucille Thomas; and one sister and brother-in-law, Ethel and Sid Gates.
She is survived by one son, Bobby Miller of Fort Smith; one son-in-law, George Stewart of Clarksville; six grandchildren, Craig Miller and Kelly Miller of Fort Smith, Lucinda Warren and husband, Tommy, of Hartman, Charlotte Hurst and husband, Don, and Karla Wood, all of Coal Hill, and Stacey Miller of Russellville; seven great-grandchildren, Madeline Miller, Dax Warren, Christie Warren, R. J. Wood, Clint Wood, Amber Norried, and Leah Miller; five great-great-grandchildren, Hannah Warren, Austin Neff, Sarah Hurst, Jocelyn Couch and Shaelyn Clark; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 21, at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel in Ozark with Rev. James Hurst officiating. Burial was in Houston cemetery at Alix.
Active pallbearers were Johnny Williams, Johnny Baker, Don Robert Hurst, Paul Gates, Ray Hullen Rice, and Norman Thomas.
Honorary pallbearers were George Stewart, Robert Kendricks, Craig Miller, Dax Warren, R. J. Wood, Clint Wood, Stacey Miller, Rod Stufflebeam, and Gayle Hesslen.

Grover Lee Russell

Grover Lee Russell, 85, of Clarksville died Tuesday, April 17, 2007, at his home.
He was a native of Ozone, son of the late Grover and Margery McCracken Russell, former employee of Holsum Bread Company for many years, and was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Lou Brown; and one brother, Virgil Russell.
Survivors include one daughter, Keitha Wilson and husband, Gary, of Clarksville; one son, Carlton Russell and wife, Apryl, of Hartman; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The body was cremated. A private graveside service was held at Oakland cemetery with arrangemennts under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.

Karen Reynolds

Karen Reynolds, 62, of Russellville, whose daughter and son-in-law, Adrienne and Boyd Arbaugh reside in Clarksville, died Saturday, April 21, 2007.
She was a native of Fitzsimons, Colo., and preceded in death by her mother, Betty Hunt, and one son, David Pitts.
Survivors include four other daughters, Felicia Howard and husband, Mike, of Muldrow, Okla., Stephanie Lovern and husband, Wade, of Russellville, Tiffany Casey and husband, Jon, of Salesville, and Stormy Lee of Hector; and 14 grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Humane Society.

Lillie Mae McIntyre

Lillie Mae McIntyre, 94, of Sherwood, formerly of Coal Hill, died Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock.
She was a native of Coal Hill, daughter of the late Will and Dora Hardgrave Bowman, widow of A. L. McIntyre, member of Coal Hill Church of Christ, retired employee of W. T. Grants Department Store, quilter, member of the Senior Citizens Group, and was preceded in death by one sister, Della Davis; two brothers, Earl and Leon Bowman; and one grandson, Jeff Voss.
She is survived by three daughters, Judy Paulicelli and husband, Paul, of McDonough, Ga., and Patsy Voss and husband, Carl, and Dora Maxine Williamson and husband, Bob, all of Rogersville, Ala.; one sister and caregiver for 12 years, Billie Ann Baker and husband, George, of Sherwood; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial were at 2 p.m. Friday, April 20, at the Coal Hill cemetery with John Ballard officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.

Norine Steuart

Norine Steuart, 87, of Clarksville died Saturday, April 21, 2007, in Clarksville Convalescent Home.
She was a native of Hartman, daughter of the late William Emmett and Roesella Jane Luzier Brown, graduate of Springfield (Missouri) High School, member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and widow of Pete Steuart.
Survivors are one daughter, Mary Neighbors of Mansfield; two sisters, Mabel Hartlein of Clarksville and Ellen Southern of Fayetteville; one brother, Bob Brown of East Chicago, Ill.; three grandchildren, Robert Watkins of Alma, Katherine Jones of Elkins and Theresa Dennie of Russellville; and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral mass and rosary service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 25, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Rev. William Wewers, O. S. B., officiating.
Burial will be in Lone Pine cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Robert Watkins, Jorge Huaracha, John Watkins, Rick Schroeder, Jesse Clark and Tony Gray.

Vincent Kane Needles

Vincent Kane Needles, infant son of Charles A. and Sarah Ray Needles, died April 21, 2007, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
Other survivors include one brother, Gunnar Miller of Clarksville; one sister, Desirae Miller of Clarksville; and grandparents, Richard and Debbie Needles of Clarksville and E. J. and Donna Jones of Bastrop, La.
Graveside services and burial were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, at the Lone Pine cemetery with Rev. Amos Pledger officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
