Clifford Faulkner

Clifford Faulkner, 82, of London died Tuesday, March 13, 2007, at AMI St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.
A native of Oklahoma, he was a son of the late John Frank and Agnes Frances Luton Faulkner, retired farmer, member of Patterson Masonic Lodge No. 488 in Patterson, Calif., and was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill, Earl Dean, and Carl Faulkner.
Survivors include his wife, Bessie Parker Faulkner; four sisters, Lela Gerigo of Patterson, Calif., Evelyn Barnard of Dixon, Calif., Margaret Daniel of Spiro, Okla., and Pauline Forrester of London; and one brother, Lawson Faulkner of California.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Friday, March 16, at Hardwicke Funeral Chapel with Rev. Frank Prator officiating. Burial was in Oakland cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Brian Faulkner, Gary Don Taylor, Gary Johnson, Don Martin, Edmond Parker, and Glen Parker.
Honorary pallbearers were Alfred Waldo and Doc Estes.

Estella S. Sefcik

Estella Smith Sefcik, 93, of Mabelvale, formerly of Clarksville, died Saturday, March 17, 2007, in Beverly Nursing Center in Bryant.
A native of Clarksville, she was a daughter of the late Preston and Etta Teagle Smith, widow of Thomas (Dobus) Sefcik, member of the Clarksville Church of Christ, 1933 graduate and valedictorian of Clarksville High School, state spelling and latin champion, attended the University of the Ozarks, and was preceded in death by two brothers, Virgil Smith and Ken Smith; and one sister, Johnnie Dalton.
She is survived by two sons, Tom Sefcik and wife, Deb, of Mabelvale and Larry Sefcik and wife, Betty, of Granbury, Texas; one sister, Lola Kinman of Clarksville, six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services and burial were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, at Oakland cemetery with Rev. Chuck Monan officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were T. J. Sefcik, Tripp Sefcik, Gary Mowry, Cody Mowry, Hershel Hale, Lee Sefcik, Marc Muncy and Duane Steele.
Memorials may be made to Southern Christian Home, P. O. Box 556, Morrilton, AR 72110.

Eunice M. Conway

Eunice M. Conway, 92, of Mesa, Ariz., died Saturday, March 17, 2007, in Mesa, Ariz.
She was a native of Coal Hill.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond Conway; one daughter, Judy Featherstone of Marietta, Ga.; two sons, Jerry Conway of Mesa, Ariz., and Tom Conway of Northglenn, Colo.; ten grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 23, at the Coal Hill cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.

Herman H. Johnson

Ret. Sgt. 1st Class Herman Henry Johnson, 88, of Duncan, Okla., died Thursday, March 1, 2007, in Duncan, Okla.
A native of Lamar, he was a son of the late Anderson and Mary Ellen Grace Johnson, member of Lamar Masonic Lodge, former resident of Missouri, was drafted into the U. S. Army where he served in the 63rd Infantry in Germany and France during World War II and also in Italy, Japan, and Korea for 24 years prior to retiring in 1966, former manager of Williams Oil Company in Fort Smith, and was preceded in death by two brothers and six sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Gertrude E. Goetsch Johnson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services and burial with full military honors were at Fort Sill National cemetery in Elgin, Okla., under the direction of Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Home of Lawton, Okla.

Inez M. Epperson

Inez A. Morrow Epperson, 79, of Hartman died Saturday, March 17, 2007, at Clarksville Convalescent Home.
She was a member of Fernwood Assembly of God Church, daughter of the late Lee and Pansy Hickey Morrow, widow of Sedric Pete Epperson, and was preceded in death by one daughter, Pamela Musgrove.
Survivors include four daughters, Janet Burton of Hartman, Judy Handley of Clarksville, Marsha Ragsdale of London and Teresa Carlisle of Hunt; four sons, Floyd Epperson of North Carolina, Jamie Epperson and Jody Epperson, both of Clarksville, and Joe Epperson of Fort Smith; one brother, Dempsey Morrow of Texas; three sisters, Betty Zachary of Hartman, Patsy McGlenn of Michigan, and Debbie Stevens of Camden; 27 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial were at 2 p.m. Monday, March 19, at the Hartman cemetery with Rev. Amos Pledger officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers were Jimmy Bateman, Jeremy Handley, Isaac Rylee, Donald Ragsdale, Mike Ragsdale, and Jordan Bateman.
Honorary pallbearers were Jody Brown, Eric Erickson and Samuel Burton.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Corporation, 2405 East Parkway, Suite 3, Russellville, AR 72801.

Lola Mae Douglas

Lola Mae Clayborn Douglas, 71, of Little Rock died Thursday, March 15, 2007, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.
She was a daughter of the late Claud and Ada Clayborn, Baptist, and was preceded in death by two brothers, Cecil Paul Clayborn and Donald Claud Clayborn.
Survivors include two daughters, Diann Douglas of Juneau, Alaska and Donna Fascio of Little Rock; two sisters, Reba Flemings of Tulsa, Okla., and Brenda Freeman of Okmulgee, Okla.; three grandchildren, Michael, Matthew and Victoria Mae Fascio; one sister-in-law, Jo Clayborn of Clarksville; son-in-law and final caregiver, Robert Fascio of Little Rock; and friend and caregiver, Daliah Newman of Fort Smith.
Graveside memorial services and burial will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 22, at Woodland cemetery with Rev. Elton Pennington officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Marvin McSperitt

Marvin McSperitt, 55, of Russellville died Thursday, March 15, 2007, in Russellville.
He was a native of Florence, Ariz., son of the late Chester Orville McSperitt, mechanic for Ozarka and Beacon Tire prior to retirement, served in the U. S. Army and National Guard, and was preceded in death by one niece, Cynthia Lynette Myers.
Survivors include one daughter, Rachel Renee; mother, Mae Irene Timmons McSperitt; two sisters, Nellie Thacker and husband, Francis, of Pettigrew and Pam Gray and husband, Steve, of Hartman; and four brothers, Don McSperitt and wife, Norma, of Pettigrew, Gene McSperitt of Coolidge, Ariz., Levi McSperitt and wife, Cecilia, of Superior, Ariz., and Virgil McSperitt and wife, Edna, of Rogers.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Monday, March 19, at Mallory-Martin Chapel in Stigler, Okla., with Rev. Robert Maxwell and Sean Pannell officiating. Burial was in Tamaha cemetery. Military rites were conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4446 in Stigler, Okla.
Active pallbearers were Steve Gray, Francis Thacker, Sean Pannell, Mike Thacker, Ricky Thacker, and Wayne Starr.
Honorary pallbearers were Tammie Pannell and Jessica Gray.

Polly Harvey

Polly Harvey, 80, of Clarksville died Saturday, March 17, 2007, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
She was a native of Charleston, daughter of the late L. R. and Ethel Shores Thomas, graduate of Charleston High School, attended Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, former employee of Clarksville Shoe Company for 17 years, and was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Lee Thomas; and one sister, Leta Mae Herring.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Harvey; two daughters, Pam Bristow and husband, Ed, of Leavenworth, Kan., and Charlotte Walters and husband, Jim, of Clarksville; one son, Doug Harvey and wife, Cheryl, of Clarksville; one sister, Katherine Holdren and husband, Henry, of Paso Pables, Calif.; and seven grandchildren, Nik Bristow, Mark Bristow, Matt Bristow, Chris Bristow, Michaela Bristow, Jonathan Harvey and Laura Harvey.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, at Hardwicke Funeral Chapel with Rev. Vernon Bass officiating. Burial was in Woodland cemetery.
Pallbearers were Nik Bristow, Mark Bristow, Matt Bristow, Chris Bristow, Ed Bristow, Jim Walters and Jonathan Harvey.
Memorials may be made to the Woodland cemetery Association, P. O. Box 231, Clarksville, AR 72830.
