Wanda Lee Lane
Wanda Lee Lane, 73, of Conway died Dec. 4, 2004.
She was born in Lonoke County. She was a house parent for the school of the deaf in Louisiana and Arkansas until her retirement.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Kenneth Lane of Conway; one daughter, Monica May Hardy of Arlington, Texas; one son, Kirk Richard Lane of Little Rock; two granddaughters, and one grandson; two sisters and one brother.
Graveside services were held Dec. 11, at Spring Valley cemetery, Ferndale. Arrangements by Griffin Leggett Funeral Home.

Andrew Holloway
Andrew “Junior” Holloway, 76, of Kerr died Dec. 10, 2004.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa Holloway; sons, Kevin, Tommy, Andrea Holloway; daughter, Pamela Holloway; sisters, Louise, Helen Holloway; seven grandchildren.

Services entrusted to Hubble Funeral Home.

Wilburn Clements
Wilburn Ed “Windy” Clements, age 87, of Jacksonville, died Dec. 8, 2004.
He was a WWII Navy Veteran; he retired from Missouri Pacific Railroad and a member of Fuller Chapel Primitive Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Monteen Tarkington Clements; two sons, Eugene Clements, of Plainview, John Clements of Plainview; two daughters, Carolyn Brown of Pine Bluff, and Una Grace George of Jacksonville; brother, Hurshell Clements of Austin; three sisters, Gladys Pistorius of Ward, Rena Jones of Austin, Eugenia Womack of Conway; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service was Dec. 11, at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel with interment at Harmony cemetery.

Adam Ball
Adam Ball, age 23, died Dec. 7, 2004.
Survivors are his wife, Marsha Ball of Carlisle, his father, Gaylon Ball of Texas; one sister, Tara Brewer of Scott; grandmothers, Martha Buffalo and Oleta Lokey of Carlisle.

Funeral Services were Dec. 9, at Humnoke Pentecostal Church with interment in Hamilton cemetery, arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.

Dorothy Lee Burns
Dorothy Lee Capps Burns, 62, of Montrose, died Tuesday.
She was a native and resident of Montrose for many years. She graduated from McGehee High School and Great Rivers Vo Tech. She was a retired nurse and became a Certified Operating Room Technician at the VA Hospital. Through her nursing career, she was employed by McGehee-Desha County Hospital, Mainline Health Systems and Jefferson Regional Medical Center. She was a member and past president of the Arkansas Licensed Practical Nursing Association. She was a member of the New Bethel Assembly of God Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, David Burns; two daughters, Lisa Rowe of Cabot, Stephanie Boney of Lake Village; a son, Vernon Burns of Beebe; her mother, Mildred Collins Sirmon of Dermott; three brothers, Billy Cotton of Crossett; Charles Capps of Carieville, Fla., and Carroll Sirmon of McGehee; two sisters, Linda Shehan of Lebanon, Tenn., and Mona Averett of Dermott; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services were Friday at the New Bethel Assembly of God Church. Burial was in the Tillar cemetery. Funeral arrangements were by Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home of Hamburg.

Memorials may be made to the New Bethel Assembly of God Church, 1319 Hwy. 82 West, Lake Village, Ark. 71653.

Milton Crews
Milton “Jake” Crews, of Little Rock, age 55, died Dec. 5, 2004.
He was employed with McCormick Painting Co., he was a life long member of Brotherhood of Painters and Allied Trade Union and a 7 year member of Local Union # 424 of Painters Allied Trade.

He is survived by his wife, Kristan Crews Johnson; one son, Jason Crews of Conway; one daughter, Heather Crews of Cabot; four sisters, Carol Pinkston, Linda Bruha, Ruby Steece, Janet Lafferty; four brothers, Jimmy Crews, Ronnie Crews, Donnie Crews, Henry Crews; and three grandchildren.

Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, North Little Rock, was in charge of arrangements.

Jay Munnerlyn Jr.
Jay Bryan Munnerlyn Jr., age 76, died Dec. 9, 2004.
He was a salesman for Wilson Meat Company, a sergeant in the United States Army at Fort Jackson, S.C., in the early 1950s before returning to work with his father in the Nuway Grocery in Lonoke. He retired from the store in 1976. He was a long time member of the Lonoke Baptist Church, was a 50 plus year member of Masonic Lodge #51 and a 32 Degree Scottish Rite Mason.
Survivors include his daughters, Jayne Spears of Beebe and Chloe Ann Wilson of Lonoke; one sister, Leara Deanne Lilly of Lonoke; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral Services were Saturday at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke with interment in Lonoke cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Lonoke Alumni Association Scholarship Fund.
Dalton E. Walters

Dalton Edward Walters, age 7, of Bee Branch, died Dec. 11, 2004.
He attended the Mt. Zion General Baptist Church of Morganton and South Side Elementary School.

He is survived by his parents; his brother, Zach Walters; his grandparents, Bud and Agnes Walters, and Jerry and Martha Glendenning, all of Bee Branch; and by his great-grandmother, Ella Walters of Cabot.

Funeral services were Dec. 14, at the Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, with burial at Crestlawn Memorial Park. Roller McNutt Conway, was in charge.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital, 800 Marshall.

Mary A. Parchman
Mary Anice Helen Parchman, 90, died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004.
Survivors daughter, Dr. Linda Parchman; son, Dr. L. Gerald Parchman; sister, Audrey Woodward of Cabot; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.

Funeral service was Saturday, Fowler Funeral Home Chapel. Burial, Oakland cemetery, Brinkley.

Lewis Dale Hannah
Lewis Dale Hannah, 57, of Hopewell died Dec. 7, 2004.
He was a retired truck driver and sawmill operator. He was a member of the Worship Center Cabot Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Lewis Don Hannah of Cabot; a daughter, Tracie Lovell of Lamar; a brother, Eddie Hannah of Rose Bud; sisters, Donna Klepich and Juanita Wheeler of Little Rock; and five grandchildren.

Funeral was Dec. 10 at South Cross Roads Church, with arrangements by Olmstead Funeral Home in Heber Springs.

Bill S. Kerr

Bill S. Kerr, age 74, of Cabot, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2004. Mr. Kerr was born on June 22, 1930 in Carlisle, Arkansas to the late W.A. and Margaret Crowder Kerr. He was a graduate of Scott High School; An Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict, a long time resident of North Little Rock, was retired from Southwestern Bell and was a member of First Baptist Church of Cabot. He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Mark Kerr.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Mary Sue Freeman; son Gary and wife Bonita Kerr of San Antonio, Texas; five grandchildren: Andrea Billingsley, Chad Smith, Nick Kerr, Lanie Kerr and Josh Kerr, and four great-grand-children.

Funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5, 2004 at First Baptist Church in Cabot under the direction of Roller-Owens Funeral Home (791-7400), with interment at Mt. Carmel cemetery in Cabot. The family will receive friends Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral Home in North Little Rock.

B.J. Russell

B.J. (Billy) Russell age 75 of Cabot, died Oct. 27, 2004.
He was a retired conductor for the Union Pacific Railroad, where he worked for 50 years.

Survivors include his wife, Rachel Russell; son, Glenn D. Russell of Sherwood; and three granddaughters.

A memorial service was held Nov. 1, at the Macedonia Baptist Church in Drasco. Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home was in charge.
Memorials may be made to Macedonia Baptist Church.
