Jerry Cadwell
Gerald “Jerry” Cadwell, 80, of Russellville, went home to be with his Lord, Monday, Feb. 11, 2008.
The son of Herbert Onions and Rheta Cadwell, he was born icon June 6, 1927, in Sandpoint, Idaho. He was a U.S. Army and Navy Veteran of World War II and retired after 25 years as a Senior Chief with the Navy Sea Bee Reserve. He was an Engineer Superintendent with Los Angeles (Calif.) County. He was also a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church, the American Legion, Post 0584, at Big Bear Lake, Calif., for 63 years and a member of the Elks Club in Monterey Park, Calif., as well as numerous other organizations. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Ruth Cadwell; his parents; and one brother.
He is survived by one son, Thomas Harms of Augsburg; three daughters, Angela Panceroff and husband, James, of Russellville, Sandra Hawkins and husband, Bill, of El Monte, Calif., and Diane Kelley and husband, Dennis, of Ontario, Calif.; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2008, at St. John’s Lutheran Church with the Rev. Darrell Kobs officiating. Burial will be at North New Hope Cemetery icon at Dover by Humphrey Funeral Service.
Visitation will be 6-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Autism Society, Hear, Inc.; 2001 Pershing Circle, Suite 300; North Little Rock, AR 72114 or American Cancer Society, c/o Judy Murphy, Pope County Chair; 126 Lakeview Circle; Russellville, AR 72802.

Jackie Garrison
Jackie Wayne Garrison 64, of London, died icon Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008, at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
A full obit will appear in a later edition of the paper.
Arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.

Jewell Stone
CLARKSVILLE - Jewell J. Faught Martin Stone, 93, of Ozark died icon Monday, Feb. 11, 2008, at Countryside Manor at Lamar.
She was born icon Sept. 24, 1914, and was of the Pentecostal faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Belle Brown Faught; husbands, Vester Martin and Herbert Stone; sons, William, David, Floyd, Lewis and Billy Martin; daughter, Betty Owen Powell; daughter-in-law, Janell Martin; two sisters; two brothers; and two granddaughters.
Survivors include sons, Boyd Martin and wife, Pat, of Manteca, Calif., Paul Martin and wife, Sandy, of Coal Hill, Jerry Martin and wife, Lucille, of Ozark, and Michael Martin of Roswell, N.M.; a daughter, Shirley Martin of Fayetteville; a sister, Opal Moore of Clarksville; 16 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and 41 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, 2008, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Amos Pledger officiating. Burial will be in Cross Roads Cemetery icon at Deer. Arrangements are by Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6-8 tonight at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Boyd Martin Jr., Robert Owen, Clifford Owen, Billy Martin Jr., Michael Martin, Jairus Martin, Jared Martin and David Faught.

Christene Woods
DARDANELLE - Christene Woods, 85, of Dardanelle died icon Monday, Feb. 11, 2008, at River Valley Medical Center.
She was born icon Feb. 5, 1923, at Piney to James Harrison and Amanda Viola Yandals Townsell. She was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Dardanelle Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 37 years, H.K. “Tooter” Woods; two sisters, Irene Wallace and Gloria Burkes; and a grandson, Michael David Crowe.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Lanita and Tom Bruce of Dardanelle, and Hilda Wesley of Dardanelle; a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry Don and Lea Ann Woods of Dardanelle; a sister-in-law, Delena Pennington of Dardanelle; a brother, James Earl “Bud” Townsell of Jones Mill; grandchildren and spouses, Captain Jenny and David Johnson, Matthew and Kerry Crowe, Justin Crowe, Clay Mitchell, Hilery Wesley, Zachary and Emily Wesley, Nikki and John Sandlin, and Natalie and Chris Tarte; great-grandchildren, Luke and Jessi Johnson, Christopher and Emma Crowe, Hattie Tarte, and two more to arrive soon; several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Dardanelle Church of Christ with Ralph Weinhold officiating. Burial will be in Chickalah Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cornwell Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include grandsons and grandsons-in-law, Matthew Crowe, Justin Crowe, Clay Mitchell, Zac Wesley, John Sandlin and Chris Tarte.
Honorary pallbearers are members of the Ladies Bible Class, the Rev. Wiley Jones, Dr. Allan Kirkland, and past and present elders and deacons of Dardanelle Church of Christ.
In addition to flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dardanelle Church of Christ Nicaragua Missions, c/o 209 Union St., Dardanelle, AR 72834.

Sadie Fowler
DANVILLE - Sadie Vida Lee Fowler of Danville, widow of Roy Fowler, died icon Monday, Feb. 11, 2008.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, 2008, at Danville First Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold Walker officiating. Burial will be in Chalybeate Spring Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 6-8 tonight.

Mary Jo Brown
July 1, 1936 - July 31, 2013
Mary Jo Brown, 77, of Russellville, AR, went home to be with her Lord Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. The daughter of Victor and Minnie Cave, she was born icon July 1, 1936 in Vian, OK. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baker's Creek Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She spent many of her days with her companion Ellie, the rat terrier and she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Brown; her parents; her brother, James Cave; and her sister, Gladys Marie Baker.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan Morris; her son, Michael Brown & wife, Susan; son-in-law, Melvin Morris; two granddaughters, Amy Sutterfield and husband Greg, and Melanie Russell and husband, Rusty; four great-grandchildren, Matthew Morris, Audrey Haley, Rylan Whittenburg and Addalyn Russell; sister-in-law, Eulean Brown; and brother-in-law, Bill Pendagraft.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Humphrey Chapel. Bro. Rusty Russell will officiate. Burial will be at McFadden Cemetery icon in Dover by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 6-8PM, on Friday, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home, 220 John Babish Lane, Russellville, AR 72802.

Oma Alieta McEntire Davis
March 9, 1930 - July 22, 2013
Oma Alieta McEntire Davis, 83 of Oak Grove, LA. passed away on July 22, 2013. Oma was born icon in Pope County, Arkansas on March 9, 1930. She married icon Earnest McEntire in October 1944. They were married icon 44 years and had six children. She was married icon to Conrad Davis until his death in January 2000.
Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband Earnest McEntire, her second husband Conrad Davis, brother’s James and Euel Vaughan and three infant children.
She is survived by her sons, Larry McEntire and wife Nancy of Dardanelle, AR, Jerry McEntire and wife Karen, and daughter Joyce Ables and husband Ben all of Oak Grove, LA, brothers Spence Vaughan, Lewis Vaughan and Anthony Vaughan, sisters Sue Harris, Oneda Phillipocvich, and Janelda Tveten, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 2:00PM Friday, July 26, 2013 at Humphrey Chapel, Russellville, AR. Reverend William Flynn will officiate. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 pm until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rock Springs Cemetery icon in Hector.

Lena Beatrice Dale
November 2, 1920 - July 15, 2013
Lena Beatrice "Bea" Dale, 92, of Russellville, went home to be with her Lord Monday, July 15, 2013. The daughter of Homer and Mollie Owen, she was born icon November 2, 1920. She married icon the late Aubrey Noel Dale and was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed camping and watching sports, especially the Razorbacks. She was preceded in death by her husband Aubrey Noel Dale; her parents; and brother, J.R. Owen.
Survivors include her two sons, Larry Dale and wife Tori of Harrison and Roger Dale and wife Pam of Russellville; four grandchildren, Powell McKinney of Bentonville, Todd McKinney of Siloam Springs, Deana Infield and husband Lance of Fort Smith and Darris Dixon and wife Sarah of Center Ridge; four great-grandchildren, Jackson Infield and Luke Infield, both of Fort Smith, and Deanie Dixon and Anna Dixon, both of Center Ridge; her brother, Cecil Owen and wife Emma Lois of Sikeston, MO; sister-in-law, Elaine Owen of Clarksville; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM, Friday, July 19, 2013 at Humphrey Chapel in Russellville. Dr. Steve Mosley will officiate. Burial will be at McFadden Cemetery icon in Dover by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.

Charles McAnulty
February 7, 1928 - July 12, 2013
Charles McAnulty, 85, of Russellville passed away Friday, July 12, 2013. The son of Adam and Margie McAnulty, he was born icon February 7, 1928 in Pope County. He married icon Ona Faye Roberts on December 23, 1950 and was a United States Army Veteran of Korea. Charles worked as a route saleman for Frito-Lay and was a member of the Harmony Freewill Baptist Church and the River Valley Antique Auto Club. He enjoyed playing his bass guitar at church, antique car restoration and especially spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents; and two infant siblings, W.A McAnulty and Eugene McAnulty.
Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Ona Faye McAnulty; daughter, Sherry Carter and husband Ronald of Dardanelle; son, Scott McAnulty of Dover; five grandchildren, Angela Moore and husband John of Dardanelle; Natalie Ruston and husband Roger, Vanessa Holmes and husband Kevin, and Chrissie Cox and husband Ethan, all of Russellville, and Alex McAnulty of Conway; six great-grandchildren, Lauren Moore, Carter Ruston, Lillian Ruston, Grant Ruston, Aiden Holmes and Jack Holmes; four brothers, Billy McAnulty and wife Jane of Russellville, Don McAnulty and wife Pam of Russellville, Burl McAnulty, Jr. and wife Bobbie of Dardanelle and Lonnie McAnulty and wife Brenda of Russellville; two sisters, Jane Daniel and the late Kenneth Daniel of Russellville and Linda Smith and the late Johnny Smith of Russellville; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service will be held at 10AM, Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Humphrey Chapel in Russellville. Reverend Bob Alexander will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-8PM on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. Pallbearers are David Roberts, Richard Roberts, Kevin Holmes, John Moore, Roger Ruston, Steve Hubbard, Jackie Heflin and Freddy Bowden. Honorary Pallbearers are the employees of Ridout of Russellville. Military Honors will be provided by the VFW, Rogers-Rye Post #2283.
