Patrick Lee Byrne
Mr. Patrick Lee Byrne, age 68, a resident of Dierks, Arkansas, died, June 10, 2021 at Howard Memorial Hospital in Nashville, Arkansas.

He was born May 6, 1953 in Jefferson City, Missouri. Pat was a retired Park Manager for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He loved to fish, hunt and work cattle. He loved life and his kids and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Billie Sewell Byrne.

Pat is survived by his wife, Karla Valenti Byrne: one son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Brandie Byrne of Hope, Arkansas; two daughters, Kristen Byrne of Ames, Iowa and Jennifer Byrne of Denver, Colorado; one brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Sandy Byrne of Denver, CO; one sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen and Rick Johnson of Dallas, TX; two grandchildren, Easton Byrne, Oakley Byrne and one on the way, Leighton and a number of nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life Memorial visitation 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Sunday, June 13, 2021 at Dierks Lake overlook.

Graveside services for Pat Byrne will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 14, 2021 at the Fellowship Cemetery in Dierks with Bobby Neal officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.

Vickie McKee
Passed at her home after reaching the age of 66 years.

Born April 8 1955, Gained her wings May 5 2021

Vickie is survived by her companion of 50 years Doug McKee.

One daughter and son-in-law Carina and Rusty McKnight.

One son and daughter-in-law Allen and Tina McKee.

In her words “The Lights of Her Life” grandson Konnor McKee and granddaughter Kaylin McKee.

She also leaves two sisters, Mary McCoy of Glenwood, AR and Connie Marquez of Texas. Two brothers Doyle Brown and Brad Brown.

She also leaves too many Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Cousins and Friends to count.

She is and will always be missed and loved.

Mr. Kenneth Green
Mr. Kenneth Loyd Green, age 56, resident of Lockesburg, Arkansas, passed from this life on Monday, June 7, 2021, in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Kenneth was born to the union of Lans Dale Green, Sr. and Phyllis Ann McWhorter Green on October 28, 1964, in De Queen. He married the love of his life, Teresa Ann Hurst, on October 17, 1986, in De Queen, and to this union, one son was born. Kenneth attended church at the Old Time Gospel Church and worked more than 30 years for Pilgrim’s Pride in De Queen. He enjoyed collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia and spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Green, and his loving wife of over 32 years, Teresa Green.

Kenneth leaves to cherish his loving memory, one son, Christopher Green of Lockesburg; his father, Dale Green of Lockesburg; brother and sister-in-law, Dale Green, Jr. and Vivian of Lockesburg; niece and nephews, Jamie Roberts of De Queen, Cassandra Reeder and husband Jeffrey of Nashville, and Zeke Green of De Queen; as well as, other relatives and a host of friends.

Graveside Services for Mr. Kenneth Green will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Old Union Cemetery with Bro. Jerrel Helms officiating. Burial will follow, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Flora Gale Knighten
Mrs. Flora Gale Knighten, age 86, a resident of Foreman, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021 in Tyler, Texas.

She was born March 25, 1935 in White Cliffs, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and member of the Jehovah’s Witness Church in Ashdown, Arkansas. Mrs. Knighten enjoyed quilting, crocheting, gardening and loved flowers.

Mrs. Knighten was preceded in death by her parents, Guthrie Halen and Thelma Mae Lewis Alexander; her husband, A.C. Knighten and two sons, Steve Davis and Charles Knighten.

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Viola and Frank Moore of Tom, Oklahoma; three sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny and Elva Knighten, George and Lori Knighten and Vernon and Lisa Knighten, all of Foreman, Arkansas; one brother, Dale Alexander of Whitesboro, Texas; her grandchildren, Ashley Pratt, Brittany and Aaron Graves, George Knighten, Walter and Liz Knighten, Shayla and Dakota Edwards, Tristian, Tanner and Kaylee Knighten, Ty and Samantha Knighten, Kloe Knighten, Charles and Brandy Knighten, Justin Davis and Misty Davis; 13 great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Knighten will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 11, 2021 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel in De Queen with Rev. Audie Dawson officiating. Burial will follow in Blackland Cemetery in Foreman,

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 10th at the funeral home.

The family will gather at the home of George Knighten following the graveside service.

Michael Ruel Archer
Mr. Michael Ruel Archer, age 73, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, died Saturday, June 5, 2021 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

He was born June 7, 1947 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Ruel and Irene (Stephens) Archer. Mr. Archer was the owner and manager of Western Auto in De Queen for 20 plus years and a farmer. He served in the U.S. Army and a graduate of the University of Arkansas. He served on the Sevier County Quorum Court, Sevier County Water Board and Tri-County Water Board. He was a prior deacon of the First Baptist Church in De Queen. Mr. Archer was a current and active member of Kern Heights Baptist Church.

Mr. Archer was preceded in death by his parents; father and mother-in-law, Frank and Hazel Brodie; and brother-in-law, Norley Frank Bickley, III.

He is survived by his wife Marilyn (Brodie) Archer; daughter, Meredith Archer of Plano, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Aneta Archer of Conway, Arkansas; two grandsons Carter and Austin Archer; one sister, Deborah Bickley of De Queen; two nieces and their spouses, Natalie and David Dickey of Arlington, Texas and Neida and Paul Griffin of Yellville, Arkansas; his brother-in-law, Ralph G. Brodie and sister-in-law, Marilou Brodie both of Little Rock, Arkansas and numerous other relatives.

A family graveside for Mr. Archer will be held at 10:00, Wednesday June 9, 2021 at the Redmen Cemetery Pavilion. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Kern Heights Baptist Church in De Queen with Bobby Fischer officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 8th at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kern Heights Baptist Church building fund. 822 North 9th Street, De Queen, AR 71832.

Mr. Kenneth St. John
Mr. Kenneth Neal St. John, age 82, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021.

He was born on May 12, 1939, in Mt. Pine, Arkansas to Leacil E. and Alpha (Shirron) St. John. Mr. St. John was a Christian. Prior to his retirement, he was a long time Weyerhaeuser employee and former owner of De Queen Glass Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Joan (Jacobs) St. John, and brother Marlin St. John.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Marilyn (Griffin) St. John; six daughters, Beverly St. John of Benton, Arkansas, Becky Jegstrup, of Lockesburg, Arkansas, Belinda (Tim) Cox, of Nashville, Arkansas, Benita St. John of De Queen, Arkansas, Lorrie (Danny) Stubbs of De Queen, Arkansas, and Melanie Brophy of De Queen, Arkansas; one sister and brother in-law, Tannie and Otis Lay of De Queen, Arkansas; one sister in-law, Joyce St. John of Hot Springs, Arkansas; one brother and sister in-law, Bennie and Martie Griffin; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services for Mr. St. John will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 8, 2021, in the Greens Chapel Cemetery, Sevier County Arkansas, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen.

Mr. David Bradshaw
Mr. David Lynn Bradshaw of De Queen, Arkansas passed peacefully from this life on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at his little cabin in the woods, just shy of his 70th birthday.

David was a man of his own. He was born into this world on June 6, 1951, in De Queen to the union of William Douglas and Verna Marie Rogers Bradshaw. He was married to the love of his life, Patty Loraine Pressley, on December 2, 1991. He was a carpenter and was said to be one of the best plumbers you would ever meet. There was not much he could not do. He enjoyed his time spent at his cabin in the woods with Patty, his animals, and watching the deer.

David was preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of over 29 years, Patty Bradshaw and fur baby, Tigger of De Queen; four children and their spouses, Dale (Shannon) Christian of Stonewall, Louisiana, Brian (Kim) Christian of Stonewall, Louisiana, Shelia Martinez of Woodburn, Oregon, and Elizabeth Bradshaw of Southport, North Carolina; eight grandchildren, Ashlie, Hayden, Michael, Taylor, Nalia, Sierra, Tyler and Evan; two great-grandchildren, Jenna and Hank; two sisters, Linda (Willis) Niemeyer of Maud, Texas, and Carolyn Bradshaw of De Queen; and his nieces and nephews, Leigh Ann (Bo) Frachiseur of Corpus Christi, Texas, Randy (Anna) Belcher of De Queen, Susan Worrell of Maud, Texas, and Joe Conway, also of Maud, Texas.

Graveside Services for Mr. David Bradshaw will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, June 7, 2021, at West Otis Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen.
