Gladys Cowling
Gladys Cowling, 97, of Nashville, died Tuesday, November 21, 2007 in Nashville. She was born on February 27, 1910 in Columbus, Arkansas, the daughter of George Monroe and Jessie Mell (Clemons) Aylor. She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church in Ben Lomond.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh B. Cowling; one son, Louie Cowling; one daughter, Brunnie Mae Cowling; one granddaughter, Sandra Cowling; 2 brothers; and 6 sisters.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Hugh E. and Judith Cowling of Ashdown; two daughters and son-in-laws, Helen and Otis Dellinger of Nashville and Arleta and Charlie Wolfe of Granberry, Texas; three brothers and wives, James and Montie Aylor of Garland, Texas, Thomas and Helen Aylor of Farmington, Arkansas, and Jimmy and Jeannie Aylor of Ashdown, Arkansas; four sisters and husbands, Carolyn and Pete Johnson of Ogden, Arkansas, Judy and John Magno of Texarkana, Texas, Jane and Jim McWharten of Lockesburg and Kathy and Wayne Chandler of Ashdown; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews relatives and friends.
Services are scheduled for 3:00 P.M., Saturday, November 24, at Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville with Don Jones and Keith Mays officiating. Burial will follow at Mineral Springs cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Friday, November 23, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
In lieu of flower, donations may be made to Gideons International Memorial Bible Program.

Clara Belle Hile Jester
Clara Belle Hile Jester, beloved Christian wife and mother, 85 of McCaskill, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2007. Clara was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Hile of McCaskill, a brother and sister, Frank Hile, Jr. of New York and Nell Daniel.
Clara leaves behind her husband of 68 years, Earl Jester, a son and three daughters; Gene & Lucretia Jester, Brenda & John Ross, Amanda Jester, Deborah & Larry Fox, all of McCaskill; a brother, Bill Hile; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 20, 2007 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Latimer Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services are scheduled for November 21 at 2:00 P.M. at McCaskill Church of Christ with Wallace Alexander and Harley Sission officiating. Burial will be in Harris cemetery in McCaskill under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home.

Rose Cox
Rose Cox, age 68, of Nashville, died Sunday, November 18, 2007 in Nashville. She was born on November 4, 1939 in Olympia, Washington, the daughter of the late Reginald Henry and Edith Irene (Cotton) Hume.
She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by one son, Donald Floyd Cox in 2003.
Survivors Include: her husband, Huey Lynn Cox of the home; one son, Ronald Dewey Cox; one daughter, Tammie Lynn Cox; two brothers, Gary Hume and Billy Hume; two sisters, Margie Stearns and Marlene Hume; three grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. Services are scheduled for Saturday, November 24, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Bethel Baptist Church in Blevins with Jim Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Bethel cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Friday, November 23, 2007 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.

Ruby Fay Jones
Ruby Fay Jones, 84, of Texarkana, died Thursday, November 15, 2007, at her home.
She was born September 4, 1923, in New Hope, AR, the daughter of the late John Robert and Minnie Belle Aylor Alford.
She was a member of Hickory Street Baptist Church and the Phebean Sunday School Class.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Woodrow Jones, two daughters, Joan Jones and Judith Karen Jones.
She is survived by two sons, Billy Jones and wife, Patty, of Texarkana and Terry Jones and wife, Pam, of Garvin, OK; two daughters, Sue McAfee and husband, Porter, of Texarkana and Dottie Roberts and husband, Paul of Texarkana; nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; and a host of friends.
Graveside Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Sunday, November 18, at Mineral Springs cemetery, with Rev. Joe Strebeck officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.
The family will receive friends at Mrs. Jones’ home in Texarkana, AR, Saturday, from 5:00 – 9:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hickory Street Baptist Church Building Fund.

Ophelia Walker
April 1, 2008
Ophelia Walker, 86, of Murfreesboro, died on April 1, 2008 in a Murfreesboro nursing home. She was born on May 7, 1921 in Murfreesboro, the daughter of the late Ed and Deborah (Henderson) Stevens. Mrs. Walker worked for Tyson and was of the Church of Christ belief.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, J.E. Stevens; and two sisters, Pauline Ferrari and Hattie Smedley.
She is survived by two sons, Tommy Walker and Ronnie Walker both of Murfreesboro; Two daughters, Penny Burnett of Murfreesboro and Sandra Hodges of Flower Mound, Tx; one brother, Bobby Stevens of Redding, CA; 15 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren. A host of other relatives and friends mourn her passing.
Graveside services will be on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. in Pleasant Home cemetery in Murfreesboro with Freeman Henderson officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Murfreesboro.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Friday, April 4, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pleasant Home cemetery.

Colton Heath Kuykendall
April 1, 2008
Colton Heath Kuykendall, was born and died on April 1, 2008 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hot Springs. He is survived by his parents, Heath and Kayla (Miller) Kuykendall of Murfreesboro; paternal grandparents, David and Debbie Holden of Nashville; maternal grandparents, Randy and Lisa Miller of Murfreesboro; great grandparents, Charlie and Nora Brown; two aunts and uncles, Heather and Shane Cornwell and Monica and Rodney Allen.
Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, April 4, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at the Murfreesboro cemetery in Murfreesboro, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home.

Willine Becky Rockenbach
March 31, 2008
Willine Becky Rockenbach, 66, of Nashville, died Monday, March 31, 2008, at a Nashville hospital. She was born July 19, 1941, at Nashville, AR, the daughter of the late Willie and Gladys Mims Chambers.
She was a member of Bingen United Methodist Church. She was a founder and Queen Mother of the Red Hat Society; a director of the Elberta Art Council. She started the Literacy Bookstore and was president of the Juvenile Diabetes Association of Lake County, Illinois.
She was a former Nashville Chamber of Commerce Woman of the Year. She was a member of the Grayslake Garden Club and city clerk for Grayslake, IL, for numerous years.. She was a personal secretary for the High School Superintendent in Grayslake, Il. She was retired from Abbott Laboratories in North Chicago, Il., where she was Executive Secretary for the director of international sales.
Mrs. Rockenbach was preceded in death one sister, Darlene Chambers and her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Rockenbach of Nashville, AR; one son, Bobby “Rock” Rockenbach and wife, Karen, of Nashville, AR; one brother, Bobby Chambers and wife, Sherry, of Nashville, AR; two sisters, Gladine Bennett of Nashville, AR and Polly McCammack and husband, Jerry, of Nashville, AR; grandchildren, Brady Murphy of Nashville, AR and Faith Miller of Nashville, AR; a number of nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; one great-great nephew and a host of friends.
Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 2, at Latimer Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. David Blase and Bro. Russell Hull officiating, burial in Ozan cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, April 1, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
Memorials may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Association.

Chloe Dove Hosey
March 30, 2008
Chloe Dove Hosey, age 86, of Nashville, Arkansas, formerly of Mineral Springs, died Sunday March 30, 2008, in a Nashville nursing home. She was born November 24, 1921, in Schaal, Arkansas, the daughter of the late James Edward and Mary Belle Garrett DeLoney. She was a retired housekeeper and member of Central Baptist Church in Mineral Springs. Survivors include her son Terry Hosey of Nashville; 2 daughters Mary Jo Nowell of Azel, TX, Linda Burns of Salem, WI; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Mineral Springs cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M. Monday at Latimer Funeral Home.

Charles Lindberg Womack
March 22, 2008
Charles Lindberg Womack, age 80, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, formerly of Dallas, TX, died Saturday, March 22, 2008. He was born January 30, 1928, in Murfreesboro, Arkansas, the son of the late Earl and Velma Mae Riddle Womack. He was a retired steel worker. He served in the Army Air Force during the Korean War and was a Christian. He was preceded in death by his first wife Bobbie N. Womack, 2 brothers Thomas Womack, Wilford Womack. Survivors include his wife Louise Womack of Tyler, TX; 1 son and daughter-in-law Michael and Teresa Womack of Springdale; 2 grandchildren Katie and Chase Womack of Springdale; 2 step-daughters Donna Gates of Tyler, TX, Marilyn Akins of Waco, TX; 3 brothers Frank Womack of Bossier City, LA, Billy Don Womack of Nashville, AR, James Henry Womack of Marietta, GA; 3 sisters Geraldine Carruthers of Denver, CO, Perlie Mae Jackson of Nashville, Leta Faye Bosley of Monroe, LA; 4 step-grandchildren and 4 step-great-grandchildren. Services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday March 27, 2008, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville, AR, with burial in Friendship cemetery in McCaskill, AR. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Violet Iline Hipp
March 22, 2008
Violet Iline (Cooley) Hipp, 90, passed away, March 22, 2008 at Chambers Nursing Home in Carlisle. She was born on June 15, 1917.
Mrs. Hipp was preceded in death by her husband, James Noel Hipp; and two brothers, Stuart Cooley and Morris Cooley.
She is survived by two daughters, Lois Ann (Tommy) Jackson of Stuttgart and Frances (David) Fletcher of Mayflower; a grandson, Jon Aaron (Kimberly) Jackson of Stuttgart; one granddaughter, Marci (Jason) Rhodes of North Little Rock; two great granddaughters, Abigail and Isabelle Rhodes, with the Jacksons expecting her 3rd great grandchild in July; and one brother, Dick Cooley of Arkadelphia.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at the Murfreesboro cemetery with Bobby Jamison officiating. Arrangements under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Nashville.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Monday, March 24, 2008 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville
Lois Ann and Frances would like to express their appreciation to all of the staff of the Chambers Nursing Home of Carlisle, the care givers of the Hospice Home Care of Cabot and Dr. Chris Morgan of Stuttgart who took excellent care of their mother. Known to her family as “Gran” ….. She was loved. Memorials may be made to your favorite charity or church.
