Barbara Morrison
Barbara Byrd Morrison, 52, of Bigelow died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2001.
She was born Dec. 1, 1948, in Tennessee, a daughter of Lee and Margaret Wilkerson Jones.
She worked for Spirit Mobile Homes in Conway and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Morrison; two sons, Michael Byrd and Shawn Byrd, both of Conway; one stepson, Bo Morrison of Russellville; one daughter, Kasey Byrd Reed of Bigelow; six brothers, Ray and Tim Jones, both of Bigelow, Joe Jones of Houston, Richard Jones of Oppelo, Wayne Jones of Cerrilos, N.M., and Lynn Jones of Lexington, N.C.; three sisters, Nell Youngman of Russellville, Glenda Dempsey of Conway and Marjorie Dixon of Bigelow, and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today (Wednesday), at Pleasant Valley General Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Jones officiating.
Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Perryville.
Pallbearers will be Fred Shelby, Charles Stane Jr., James Williams, Greg Morgan, Alan Morgan, Wayne Evans, Robert Mayo, and Don Akridge.
Honorary pallbearers will be Shannon Jones, Shane Jones, Darrin Dixon, Chad Dixon, Travis Camp, Keven Jones, Jonathan Dempsey, Jeremy Jones, and Ricky Don Clayton.

Velva Jones
Velva Irene Hawks Jones, 84, of Hollis died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2001.
She was born August 18, 1916, in Hollis to William Henton Hawks and Mary McGhee Hawks.
She was a member of Valley Home Baptist Church and the widow of Clarence F. Jones.
Survivors include two sons, Gus O’Neal Jones of Aplin and Herbert Earl Jones of Hollis; one sister, Oda Pruitt of Conway; seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be today (Wednesday) 1 p.m. at Valley Home Baptist Church in Hollis with burial at Dry Fork Cemetery with Bro. J.D. Hooper and Bro. Bill Davis officiating.
Pallbearers will be grandsons: Tim Jones, Pat Welch, Jeff Morgan, Michael West, Brad Jones, and Brad Shipman.
Arrangements are by Griffin Leggett of Conway.

Jacqueline Primm
Jacqueline Noel Primm, infant daughter of James and Kathy Primm of North Little Rock, died Friday, Jan. 19, 2001.
Other than her parents, survivors include a sister, Madison Lourdes, and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Primm of Russellville and Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Hartman of Morrilton.
Graveside service was 2 p.m. Tuesday at Calvary Cemetery.
Arrangements were by North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, 758-1170.
A memorial fund is set up at Petit Jean Bank in Morrilton in her honor.

John Glacken
John R. Glacken, 77, of Morrilton, formerly of Little Rock, died Monday, Jan. 22, 2001.
He was born in Kentucky on Dec. 16, 1923.
He was an Army veteran and drove a truck for J.B. Hunt until his retirement.
Survivors include one son, Robert Glacken of Kentucky, and one grandson.
Graveside service was Tuesday at National Cemetery.
Service and arrangements were by Bob Neal and Sons Funeral Home of Morrilton.
