Larry L. Minotto
August 31, 1947 - July 14, 2015
Rogers. Arkansas
Larry L. Minotto, 67, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away,
Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Circle of Life Legacy Village in
Bentonville, AR. He was born August 31, 1947 in San
Francisco, CA to Alfred Louis and Louise Frieda Hansen
Minotto.

He served in the United States Coast Guard. He loved the
ocean and all things nautical.

He was the owner of 'Turn Back Time Movers' for 17 years;
a business he started and that grew into a successful
company. He was always grateful for his team members and
their diligent service to the company.

Larry was a member of the Catholic faith.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Nancy Minotto; Nancy’
s children, Shawn Williams and wife, Michelle, of Grass
Valley, CA, Robert Kelly and fiancé’ Summer Schmid of
Rough and Ready, CA, Tammy Bear of Grass Valley, CA and
13 grandchildren.

Memorials may be made in honor of Larry Minotto to the
Wounded Warrior Project.

A visitation will be held from 1: 00PM until 3:00PM,
Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Stockdale-Moody Funeral
Services. There will be a time for sharing memories in the
chapel at 2:30PM.

William Asa Spurlock
November 12, 1943 - May 9, 2015
Bentonville, Arkansas
William Asa Spurlock was born on November 12, 1943, in the
Arkansas State Forestry district headquarter house in Hardy, Arkansas.
He died in Fayetteville, Arkansas on May 9, 2015. William was named
for both his grandfathers and his middle name from his father.

William loved God and served for 19 years as an Elder of the
Bentonville Church of Christ. He also served as a minister of Member
Care for the Bentonville Church of Christ since 2006.

William loved people but first and foremost was his wife Barbara. He
and Barbara were first introduced in May of 1970 and were married on
October 17, 1970 in Salina, Kansas. Barbara served alongside
William as the two served others in the church and the community.

William enjoyed fishing, golfing, Razorback Football and Basketball
and hummingbirds. William graduated from Hardy High School in
1961 and then graduated from Arkansas State College (now University)
in 1965 with a degree in Business Administration majoring in
Accounting. William’s first position was with the John A. Cooper
Company (now Cooper Communities) and moved to Bentonville from
the Hardy area in 1967 when the corporate headquarters moved to Bella
Vista. William served as Assistant Treasurer during his time there.
William also worked for 7 years for Phillips Food Centers/Food 4 Less
as Senior Vice President/Finance. William took a break from
accounting in 1983 and he and Barbara bought the Razorback Roller
Rink in Rogers where he served as manager/owner being known as
'Bill' to those that skated. Upon selling the rink in 1989 William
became the Comptroller of the City of Bentonville working there until
1993 when he was hired as the Director of Finance for the Bentonville
Public Schools where he worked until he retired at the end of 2005.
William worked part-time for the Bentonville Church of Christ as the
Minister of Member Care.

William is preceded in death by his father and mother; Asa and Eva
'Nicks' Spurlock. His brother Keith died in 2000. William is
survived by his wife, Barbara of the home; his daughter and son-in-law
Beth Ann and Jon Pesnell of Bentonville, AR, his son and daughter-in-
law Scot Alan and Diana Spurlock of Bentonville; and four grandsons
Peyton Pesnell, Sam Norman, Landon Norman, and Eli Snoxhill. Also,
he is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and C. W.
Ramsey of Weiner, AR. as well as a sister-in-law, Shirley Spurlock of
Springfield, MO.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be sent to: Allen Sandlin Scholarship
Fund, Bentonville Church of Christ, 904 N. Walton Blvd, Bentonville,
AR 72712.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00PM, Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the
Bentonville Church of Christ.

Funeral services will be at 10:00AM, Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at the
Bentonville Church of Christ with Minister Tim Rine and Minister
Walton Hook officiating. Burial will be in the Bentonville cemetery.

George Calvin Tate
October 23, 1930 - February 22, 2015
Rogers, Arkansas
George Calvin Tate, 84, of Rogers, Ar., loving and cherished father, passed
away peacefully at his home February 22, 2015. George was born October
23, 1930 in Whitwell TN. The son of William Lewis and Millicent Caroline
Lewis Tate.

He proudly served with the United States Marine Corps in the Korean War.
After his military service, he joined Bear Brand Hosiery where he worked
his way to Plant Manager for 30 years, then at ATCO Rubber Products for 23
years from which he retired. He was a member of Calvary Freewill Baptist
Church in Springdale.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Colene Tate; his parents, 2
brothers and a sister, and his son David Dempsey Tate.

He is survived by his children Georgie Ann Tate, and Angelia Dawn Tate
Baier (Brad) of Rogers, and Calvin Brent Tate (Martha) of Dallas, TX. and
Sandra Diane Hood (Ray) of Ringgold, Ga. 4 sisters: Margaret Fredrickson
of Lowell, Judy Davis and Bobbie Martin both of Little Rock, and Peggy
Lynch of Fayetteville, 5 grandchildren and 1 special great-granddaughter,
Eva Marie.

George was a past Member of the Kiwanis Club in Bentonville. He enjoyed
league bowling with several of his friends from his Bear Brand family and
was an avid hunter and fisherman. He spent several years coaching and
managing Little League and Babe Ruth baseball in the City of Bentonville.
George was a loving husband, hardworking, and a strong supportive father
setting the example for his family and friends in so many ways. We love and
miss you Dad.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00PM, Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at
Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in Rogers.

Funeral services will be at 11:00AM, Thursday, February 26, 2015 at
Calvary Freewill Baptist Church in Springdale with Pastor Clark Snow and
Pastor Arthur Lee Galloway officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview
Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.

Memorials may be made in honor of George Tate to the Wounded Warrior

Nellie Rue Wilbanks
May 15, 1923 - February 21, 2015
Bentonville, Arkansas
Nellie Rue Wilbanks, 91, of Bentonville, AR died February 21,
2015 in Rogers, AR. She was born May 15, 1923 in Marietta,
Mississippi to Troy Ramey and Addie Sue Warren.

She was a faithful, active church member throughout her life.
She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the desire to
serve others brought her great joy. Nellie was a beautician who
owned and operated Nell's Beauty Shop in Dell, AR then later
began a career as a bank teller in Blytheville, AR. She was an
excellent cook, enjoyed fixing big dinners for everyone, loved
her family, and especially loved listening to gospel music.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 63
years, Porter Wilbanks; two sisters and three brothers.

Nellie is survived by one son, Paul Wilbanks of Unionville, TN;
one daughter, Brenda Bahn-Moore and husband, Mitchell of
Bentonville; five grandchildren, Anita Bruce and husband
Rickey, Terry Wilbanks and wife, Brenda, Paula Wilson,
Michele Hoyt, Michael Bahn and wife, Tina; 12
great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces
and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00PM, Tuesday, February 24,
2015 at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in Rogers.

Funeral services will be at 11:00AM, Wednesday, February 25,
2015 at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Chapel in Rogers with Pastor
James Longmate officiating. Burial will follow in Bentonville
cemetery.

Pallbearers are Terry Wilbanks, Michael Bahn, Matthew Bruce,
Zachary Bruce, Ryan Hoyt, and Dick DeVore.

Honorary Pallbearers are Mitchell Moore, Paul Wilbanks and
David Bahn.

Brian Keith Argo, Sr.
September 6, 1961 - August 19, 2015
Rogers, Arkansas
Brian Keith Argo, Sr. 53, of Rogers, AR died
August 19, 2015 at Mercy Hospital in
Rogers. He was born in Denver, CO to David
and Ruth Potts Argo.

He was a 3rd Degree Master Mason and a
member of Rogers Masonic Lodge #460 and
a leader of Boy Scout Troop #122 in Rogers.
He was a sweet, loving, friendly man with a
great big heart and was well loved.

Survivors include one son, Brian Argo and
wife, Stephanie; granddaughter, Serenity
Argo; father, David; brother, David Argo;
sister, Luanne Argo and many friends.

A memorial service will be at 10:00AM
Saturday, August 22, 2015 at
Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in Rogers.

A celebration of his life will be Saturday,
August 29, 2015 from 2:00PM until 5:00PM
at the Masonic Lodge in Rogers.

Arrangements have been entrusted to
Stockdale-Moody Funeral Service in Rogers.

Derrell D. Benson
January 30, 1932 - May 23, 2015
Bentonville, Arkansas
Derrell D. Benson, 83, of Bentonville, AR passed away Saturday, May
23, 2015 at Circle of Life Legacy Village. He was born January 30,
1932 in Alva, OK to Vernon and Myrtle Henderson Benson.
Derrell proudly served in the United States Army after graduating from
Waynoka High School in 1950.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Belva in 2008; his parents; and
five brothers, Bobby Lee, Marvin Dean, Charles Beverly, Rogers
Vernon and Donald Gene.

Derrell is survived by a son, Richard Benson and wife, Tina of
Bentonville, AR; a daughter, Christine Strunk of Tulsa, OK; three
brothers, James Benson of Clearwater, KS, Bill Benson and wife,
Arleen of Fairview, OK, and Delbert Benson of Jenks, OK; two sisters,
Gayle Farnsworth and husband, Geoff of West Grove, PA and Mary Lou
Glascoe and husband, Duane of Amarillo, TX; one granddaughter,
Ashley Struck of CA; several nieces and nephews and many good
friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Friday, May 29, 2015 at First
Baptist Church in Bentonville with Bro. Phillip Smith officiating.
Visitation will be held at 10:00am, until service time. Burial will be at
Centerton cemetery.

Reta L. (Peewee) Carnes
June 28, 1947 - September 11, 2015
Bentonville, Arkansas
Reta L. (Peewee) Carnes, 68, of Bentonville died September 11, 2015
at Circle of Life Legacy Village Hospice in Bentonville. She was born
June 28, 1947 in Bentonville, AR to Clarence Marion and Reta
Lorraine McMillan Townzen.

Reta was co-founder of Hands on Images and had a passion for helping
children.

She is preceded in death by father, Clarence.

Reta is survived by her mother, Reta; two brothers, Johnny P. Townzen
and Randy Townzen and wife, Julie; four sisters, Kathy Mayhall and
husband, Carl, Connie Ford and husband, David, Zonna Coffee, and
Doris Bolain and husband, Ed; and Taylor Meyers and family.

Graveside services will be held at 2pm, Tuesday, September 15, 2015
at Bentonville City cemetery with Rev. Rex Dickey officiating.

Memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 1201 NE Legacy
Pkwy, Bentonville, AR 72712.

Myrah Yvonne Caton
March 31, 1927 - July 28, 2015
Lowell, Arkansas

Myrah Yvonne Caton, 88, of Lowell, Ark passed away,
Tuesday, July 28, 2015 in Rogers, Ark. She was born
March 31, 1927 in Ft. Smith, Ark. to Fred Carl and Edith
Moody Shopfner.

Myrah was preceded in death by her sister, Ayleen
Ambrose in 2014. She is survived by her husband of 18
years, Lytle Grey Caton; daughters: Deborah Paul, Lisa
Pickard and Laurie Drissel; Lytles children, Karen
Hinton and Randy Caton; one brother, Charles Shopfner
and one sister, Dale Smith; grandchildren, Michael Paul,
Stephanie Braswell, Christopher Pickard, Andrew
Garmon, Jennifer Wang, Kaitlyn Head, Timothy Paul,
Steven Garmon; 11 great-grandchildren and one
great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 30,
2015 at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Chapel in Rogers with
the Bro. Rodney A. Fry officiating. Burial will follow at
Benton County Memorial Park cemetery.
