Wanda Ross Callaham

Wanda Ross Callaham, 74, of Lamar died Monday, Nov. 6, 2000.
She was a native of Lamar, daughter of the late Arthur and Ruby Henderson, businesswoman, and was preceded in death by one son, Anthony G. (Bud) Ross; one sister, Madeline Roof; and two brothers, Morris and Clarence Henderson.
Survivors include her husband, Roy D. Callaham; six children, Teresia Wadley and Cindy Snodgrass, both of Lamar, Sydney Case of London, Bill Ross of Orlando, Fla., Judi Conway of Vilonia, and Valerie Grover of Vacaville, Calif.; mother, Elsie Henderson Anderson of Clarksville; one sister, Tessie Lemley of Lamar; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, at Hardwicke Funeral Chapel with burial in Lamar cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, at Hardwicke Funeral Home.

Amber Binz

Amber Binz, 23, of Ozark died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2000, from injuries sustained in a one-vehicle accident at Dirty Creek on Interstate 40 at mile marker 42 approximately one mile east of the Altus exit.
She was a senior at the University of the Ozarks and an employee of Wal-Mart Store in Clarksville.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Anita and Dr. Lane Wilson of Ozark; father, Dennis Binz of Barling; one sister, Celeste Binz of College Station, Texas; one brother, Jeremiah of Ozark; and maternal grandparents, W. D. and Patty House of Ozark.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Highland cemetery at Ozark.

Aaron Daniel Hudson

Aaron Daniel Hudson, 21, of Russellville died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2000, at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock.
A native of Clarksville, he was a 1998 graduate of Drew Central High School in Monticello where he played basketball and tennis for the Pirates for four years. He attended the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville where he played tennis his freshman year, was a member of Epicenter youth group at Life Center Church, and was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William Catlett; paternal grandfather, Henry Hudson; and maternal great-grandmother, Irene Catlett.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Danny and Debbie Hudson of Russellville; mother, Tawana Hudson of Monticello; one brother, Christian Hudson of Benton; one sister, Ashley Hudson of Russellville; two stepbrothers, Matt Fleming and Eric Fleming, both of Russellville; fiancee, Tara Brown of Russellville; maternal grandparents, Arthur and Louise Moon of California; paternal grandmother, Chloe Hudson of Russellville; maternal great-grandmother, Agnes Houston of California; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, at Life Center Church with Rev. Larry Pyle and Rev. Steve Pyle officiating.
Burial was in Hudson cemetery at Moreland under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
Active pallbearers were Roger Samour, Andrew Simpson, Greg Gilliam, Eddie Shaffer, Brian Hellard, and Brandon Hodge.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the Epicenter youth group at Life Center Church.
Memorials may be made to Life Center Youth Building Fund in Russellville.

Alvin R. Hoyle

Alvin R. Hoyle, 81, of Russellville died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2000.
He was a member of Twin Oaks Baptist Church in Clarksville, World War II Army veteran, Mason, retired electrician, farmer, and son of the late Walter B. and Kansas Forrestor Hoyle.
Survivors include his widow, Hazel Stitt South Hoyle; four sons, Gerald D. Hoyle of Joshua, Texas, Eugene Hoyle of Ft. Scott, Kan., Bobby Hoyle of El Dorado, and Roy Hoyle of Little Rock; one stepdaughter, Valorie By-
ram of Russellville; three stepsons, Aaron South of Russellville, Thom South of Cabot, and Nathan South of the U. S. Army in Germany; four sisters, Edith McKnight of Bee Branch, Ruby Henderson of Clinton, Juanita Bonds of Alread, and Irene Bates of Springfield, Ore.; one brother, Calvin Hoyle of Clinton; 19 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, at Roller-McNutt in Clinton with Rev. Troy Vaughn and Rev. Rodger Pearce officiating. Masonic gravesite rites and burial were in Crabtree cemetery in Clinton.
Active pallbearers were sons and grandsons while honorary pallbearers were stepsons and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation, Central Arkansas Chapter, 10411 West Markham, Suite 130, Little Rock, AR 72205-1409.
Local arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Eva Willis Farmer

Eva Willis Farmer, 89, of Ozark died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2000, at Mercy Hospital/Turner Memorial in Ozark.
She was a native of Newton County, daughter of the late John and Alice Burton Willis, widow of Press Farmer, and Pentecostal.
She is survived by eight daughters, Lillie Keech of Van Buren, Ollie Pledger of Kibler, Mary Whitehead of Kansas City, Kan., Faye McGuire of Clarksville, and Lois Martin, Pauline McCartney, Dean Davis and Jane Case, all of Ozark; two sons, Donald Farmer of Ozark and Ronnie Farmer of Dardanelle; one sister, Josie Robison of Clarksville; one stepdaughter; 18 grandchildren; nine step grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 20 step great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J. D. Ellison and Rev. Bill Hanner officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove cemetery north of Ozark.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Hank Keech, Preston Whitehead, Jerry Case, Ronald Cowan, Benny Whitehead, and Wayne McCartney.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, at Shaffer Funeral Home in Ozark.

Edna M. Hart

Edna M. Hart, 65, of Clarksville died Friday, Oct. 27, 2000, at Batson.
A native of Iceleodo, she was a daughter of the late Floyd W. and Nellie P. Hill Morris, and was preceded in death by two sons, Jesse Hart and Lesley Hart; two daughters, Pricilla Hart and Virginia Hart; two brothers, Bobby Wayne Morris and Billy Ray Morris; and one sister, Maggie Alene McKnight.
Survivors include her husband, Marvin Hart Sr.; three daughters, Diannah Sharp of Hot Springs, Peggy Jamison of McCullen, Texas, and Mary Lemaster of Knoxville; four sons, Marvin Hart Jr. of Ohio, Wesley Hart and Burl Wayne Hart, both of Clarksville, and Christopher Marlow of the home; three sisters, Della May Yadon of Grenada Hills, Calif., Glenna Nicklas of Lowell, and Linda Davis of Lamar; three brothers, Lloyd Morris of Ontario, Calif., Rickey Morris of Lamar, and Blue (E. M.) Morris of Midlothian, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; and two step grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, at the Oak Grove cemetery with Rev. Terry Cameron officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers were Wesley Hart, Wayne Hart, Christopher Marlow, Frank Lemaster, Darrell Ragsdale, and Justin Lemaster.
Honorary pallbearer was Marvin Hart Sr.

Flois D. Miracle

Flois Dickerson Miracle died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2000, in Dallas, Texas.
She was born in Johnson County in 1905 to the late C. A. and Ella Jacobs Dickerson, a graduate and lifelong supporter of the University of the Ozarks, a member of Highland Park Presbyterian Church of Dallas, Texas, and widow of William Hoyt Miracle, who was also a native of Johnson County.
She is survived by a number of nieces, nephews and cousins in this area.
Funeral and burial were Thursday, Oct. 26, at Sparkman-Hillcrest Memorial in Dallas, Texas.

Jesse Blue Martin

Jesse Blue Martin, 17, of Clarks-
ville died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2000, from injuries sustained in a one-vehicle accident on Highway 103 North on Batson Mountain.
He was born on Sept. 23, 1983, in Scranton and was a junior at Clarksville High School.
Survivors include his parents, D. D. and Tootie Martin of Clarksville; one sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Robert Loggins of Horseshoe Bend; one brother and sister-in-law, Josh and Sara Martin of Russellville; two nephews, Alex Martin and Shawn Martin, both of Russellville; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service was held at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, at the Martin home. The body was cremated. Arrangements were under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
