Robert Wayne Lemasters

Robert Wayne Lemasters, 78, of Harrison, formerly of Clarksville, died Thursday, Aug. 17, 2000.
Survivors include his widow, Lillian Lemasters; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Kent and Sherry Lemasters of Corona Delmar, Calif., and Robert Lemasters of Clarksville; one daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Don Sugg of Harrison; one brother, Charles Lemasters of Springfield, Mo.; four granddaughters; one grandson; one great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 21, at Northvale Baptist Church in Harrison with Rev. Billy R. Usery and Rev. David Talbert officiating.
Burial was in Maplewood cemetery under the direction of Holt Memorial Chapel in Harrison.
Active pallbearers were Kent Lemasters, Robert Lemasters, Don Sugg, Brian Sugg, Mike Oswald, and Don Arnold.
Honorary pallbearers were the men's Sunday school class of Northvale Baptist Church.

Billy Ray Fricks

Billy Ray Fricks, 55, of Clarksville died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2000, at his home.
A son of the late Dell Pleasant and Howard Fricks, he was a truck driver, veteran and Baptist.
Survivors include his widow, Mildred Marie Fox Fricks; four daughters, Shirley Lizcano of Greenville, Texas, Lisa Fox of Lamar, and Amanda Shaver and Jennifer Fricks, both of the home; one son-in-law, Kelley Fox of Lamar; two sisters, Linda Fricks of New Boston, Texas, and Francine Morman of Texarkana, Texas; one brother, Howard Fricks of Texarkana, Texas; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at Ministries A Flame Church with Rev. Edna Burnett officiating. The body was donated to medical science.
Pallbearers were Richard Fox, Sara Duff, Raymond Fox, Shane McCarley, John Roy Fox, Stacy Duff, Dean Cowell, and Joe McCarley Jr.
Arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Burley L. Sears

Burley L. Sears, 86, of Clarksville died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2000, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
A son of the late Martin and Grace Turner Sears, he was a member of the Clarksville Church of Christ, World War II veteran, retired U. S. Forestry Service employee, and was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Sears; one sister, Gertrude Gibson; and one brother, Elmer Gibson.
He is survived by one daughter, Susan Sears of Fort Smith; one son and daughter-in-law, Rich and Shirley Sears of Calcasieu, La.; three sisters, Lillian (Bill) O'Donnell of West Memphis, Ruth West of Fisher, and Willie Kennedy of White Haven, Tenn.; two brothers, Wade Gibson of West Memphis and Roy (Dub) Gibson of Hickory Ridge; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at Roller-Cox Chapel with Mike Eppinette officiating.
The body was cremated.

Darril Lane Hunt

Darril Lane Hunt, 57, of Hunt died Monday, Aug. 7, 2000, at Fort Smith.
He was a farmer, Army veteran, and son of the late Othie Samuel Hunt.
Survivors include his widow, Joann Phillips Hunt; three sons and one daughter-in-law, D. J. Hunt and Joseph Wayne Reynolds, both of the home, and John Thomas and Mandy Reynolds of Coal Hill; mother and stepfather, Helen Pauline (Hawks) and Eugene Johnson of Kentucky; three sisters, Anne Shafer, Barbara Kuykendall and Eva Irwin, all of Illinois; one brother, Othie Hunt of Illinois; and two grandchildren, Morgan Reynolds and Cortney Reynolds, both of Coal Hill.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, at Liberty Hill Church with Rev. Ira Taylor officiating.
Burial will be in Liberty Hill cemetery at Hunt under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be John Little, Thurman Ritchie, Jimmy Schoolfield, Mike Reynolds, Bobby Durning, and David Davidson.
Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Darrell Dwain Koontz

Darrell Dwain Koontz, 75, of Hector, formerly of Clarksville, died Monday, July 31, 2000.
He was a son of the late Arch and Kate Koontz, retired Army sergeant first class having served in World War II and the Korean War, and was preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce Bean Koontz; two brothers, J. W. and Archie B; and one sister, Willene King Nelson.
Survivors include his widow, Leona Carter Koontz; two sons, James and Gregg, both of Jenks, Okla.; five stepchildren, Andy, Mike, Lewis Jr., Jean and Lynne; two sisters, Pauline King of Clarksville and Helen Harrison; two brothers, Seth and Gene; two grandchildren; 13 step-grandchildren; and seven step great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 3, at Huson Funeral Home in Little Rock with burial in Little Rock National cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, P. O. Box 83, Jerusalem, AR 72080.

Ralph E. Stricklin

Ralph Edward Stricklin, 50, of Coal Hill died Friday, Aug. 4, 2000, at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith.
A native of Clarksville, he was a son of the late Manley Stricklin, member of the Muscular Dystrophy Organization, factory employee, and was preceded in death by one brother, Dwight Stricklin.
Survivors include his mother, Kathryn Stricklin of Coal Hill; three sisters, Kathy Herndon of Fort Worth, Texas, Linda Moffit of Alix, and Agnes Stricklin of Hartman; and two brothers, Manley Stricklin Jr. and Elmer Stricklin, both of Coal Hill.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 7, at the Coal Hill First Baptist Church with Rev. David Qualls officiating.
Burial was in Hartman cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Jerry Don Stricklin, Ryan Stricklin, Jason Stricklin, Daryel Stricklin, Randy Stricklin, Allen Stricklin, Daniel Moffit, and Dustin Moffit.

William Melvin Skaggs

William Melvin Skaggs, 83, of Lowell died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2000, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale.
A native of Johnson County, he was a son of the late Claude Benjamin and Dolly Brown Skaggs, retired farmer, co-owner of Skaggs Brothers Produce, Inc., member of the Weslyn United Methodist Church of Springdale, the Elks Club in Pryor, Okla., and Rogers, and the Oklahoma Air Stream Club, and was preceded in death by one son, William Melvin (Dub) Skaggs; and two brothers, Elbert Skaggs and King Skaggs.
Survivors include his widow, Dorothy Skaggs; one daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Don Delbosco of Charleston, W. Va.; two sisters, Lucille Rich of Fayetteville and Ruth Ruble of Friendswood, Texas; two grandchildren, Jobie Skaggs of Peoria, Ill., and Chad Skaggs of Pocotello, Idaho; three great-grandchildren; and three step grandchildren, Lynn and Connie Brinks of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Sally Mae McComb of Coronado, Calif.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at Bixby Funeral Service Colonial Chapel in Bixby, Okla., with Velda Bell and Paul Barrington officiating. Burial was in Bixby cemetery.
Pallbearers were Elbert C. Baker, Dale Clark, Luther Metcalf, Lyle Smith, Hugh Robinson, and Casey Wade.
Memorials may be made to Weslyn United Methodist Church, Springdale, AR 72762.

Mrs. Eunice Pratt

Mrs. Eunice Marie Pratt, 77, of Tulsa, Okla., sister of Mildred Brown of Knoxville, died July 21, 2000.
She was born in the Minnow Creek Community, the fifth of ten children to Margaret Anna (Matthews) and Walter Hugh Bean Sr., attended Clarksville High School, was a children's daycare provider, former resident of Norfolk, Va., and Kansas City, Mo., and was preceded in death by one brother, Walter Hugh Bean Jr.
Survivors include her husband, Elmo Junior Pratt of Claremore, Okla.; two sons, Wayne E. Pratt of Broken Arrow, Okla., and David L. Pratt of Tulsa, Okla.; two brothers, John R. Bean of Columbus, Ind., and Mitchell Bean of Broken Arrow, Okla.; five other sisters, Ruby Selby of Lakewood, Calif., Ruth Saunders of Torrence, Calif., Robbie Umholtz of North Newton, Kan., Barbara Vaughan of Cape Coral, Fla., and Pat Hasley of Green River, Wyo.; two grandchildren, Michael W. Pratt of Denver, Colo., and Lisa Kirkwood of Owasso, Okla.; two great-grandchildren, Francis Marie Kirkwood and Caleb M. Kirkwood, both of Owasso, Okla.
Private burial services were at 11 a.m. July 24 at Floral Haven cemetery in Tulsa, Okla., and a memorial service was held at 1:30 p.m. July 24 at 29th and Yale Church of Christ in Tulsa, Okla. Arrangements were under the direction of Christian-Gavlick Funeral Home of Broken Arrow, Okla.
