Russell G. Tipton

Russell G. Tipton, 74, of Napa, Calif., died Friday, May 19, 2000.
He was born in the Goose Camp Community but moved to California in 1942, where he was employed in the shipyards as a welder before serving in the U. S. Marines in the Asiatic Pacific area from 1943-45. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and a first class journeyman pipefitter for the C & H Sugar Refinery from 1946 until retirement in 1981.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Alvina Tipton; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Larry Tipton of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Jerry and Jeannie Tipton of Napa, Calif.; one grandson and spouse, Antony and Adrianne Tipton of Minneapolis, Minn.; one brother, Joseph H. Tipton of Clarksville; and three sisters, Ethel Bougher of Clarksville, Kay Frost of Conway and Lorene Hickey of Antioch, Calif.
A memorial service was held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, at St. John's Lutheran Church with Jack A. Geistlinger and Michael A. Schmid, pastors, officiating. A private burial was at Tulocay cemetery under the direction of Richard Pierce Funeral Service.
Memorials may be made to the St. John's Lutheran Church Building Fund.

Albert Arrowood Sr.

Albert Arrowood Sr., 75, of Clarksville died Friday, May 12, 2000, at his home.
He was born in Pigeon Roost, N. C., to Joseph and Anna Miller Arrowood, a Navy veteran of World War II, and a retired tool and dye maker.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Rose Arrowood; one daughter, Joan Sturgis of Oxford, Pa.; three sons, Albert Arrowood Jr. and Don Arrowood, both of Clarksville; and Joe Arrowood of Bull Shoals; and seven grandchildren, Amanda Free, Chad Barr, and Heather Freer, all of Austin, Pa., Albert Arrowood III and Jody Arrowood, both of Clarksville, Rita Sturgis of Oxford, Pa., and Clint Arrowood of Bull Shoals.
The body was cremated.
Arrangements were under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bonnie Reynolds

Mrs. Bonnie Lee Reynolds, 99, of Ozark died Thursday, May 11, 2000, at her home.
A native of Batson, she was a daughter of the late David and Etta Ruth Hunt Nichols, widow of of V. P. (Slim) Reynolds, and a Baptist.
She is survived by one sister-in-law, Nadine Nichols of Ozark; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services and burial were at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 13, at the Highland cemetery in Ozark under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.

George Willis Young

George Willis Young, 72, of Fayetteville died Wednesday, May 10, 2000, at Washington Regional Hospital.
He was a son of the late August Henry and Bonnie Isabel Yarbrough Young, a retired Campbell Company employee, and was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Betty June Melson Young; and one brother, Clyde Dan Young.
He is survived by four sisters, Gladys Orene Young Troxell, Bertha Young, and Nancy Graclee Young, all of North Little Rock, and Mable Rhea Young of Sherwood; four brothers, Harvey Union Young of Coal Hill, August Young Jr. and Ray James Young, both of Clarksville, and John Pershing Young of Granite City, Ill.; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 13, at Roller-Cox Chapel with Rev. Amos E. Pledger officiating. Burial was in Oark cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Barry Park, Jim Dickerson, Johnny Schuh, Bob McGuire, Stanley Vaught, and Jessie Campbell.
Honorary pallbearers were Everett Willis and Mark Crowson.

Juan John Goni

Juan John Goni, 75, of Oark died Tuesday, May 16, 2000, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
He was a retired plater and son of the late Juan Goni and Josephine Aldayturriaga Goni.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Alice Skaggs Goni; three daughters, Laura Mendez of Huntington Beach, Calif., Rachelle L. Booth of Moreno Valley, Calif., and Renea A. Lastoria of Clarksville; two sons, Juan Michael Goni of Oark and Ronald R. Lastoria of Peoria, Ill.; two brothers, Pedro Goni and Angel Goni, both of Mexico; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 19, at Patterson Springs Church with Rev. Robert Boen and Rev. Larry Willis officiating.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 18, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
The body was cremated.

LeRoy Warren

LeRoy Warren, 77, of Clarksville died Monday, May 15, 2000, at his home.
A native of McAlester, Okla., he was a son of the late Fred H. and Fannie E. Casey Warren, retired small engine mechanic and truck driver, and was preceded in death by one son, David Warren; and two brothers, Taylor Warren and Reed Warren.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Wenola Kerwin Warren; one son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Mary Lou Warren of Clarksville; one brother and sister-in-law, John and Anna Jane Warren of Baton Rouge, La.; two grandsons and spouses, Robert and Sharon Warren of Hunt and Jason and Pam Warren of Clarksville; one granddaughter, Debbie Beaupre of Clarksville; and one great-grandson, Josh Yarbrough of Hunt.
Memorial graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 19, at Oakland cemetery with John Ballard officiating. The body was cremated. Arrangements are under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.

Mrs. Myrtle Ancil Lee

Mrs. Myrtle Ancil Lee, 95, of Hunt died Thursday, May 11, 2000, at Lamar.
She was a member of Liberty Hill Church, widow of Edwin J. (Ted) Lee, daughter of the late Erastus L. and Vida Edwards Jacobs, retired teacher and merchant, and was preceded in death by one son, Eugene Lee.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Therman and Betty Lee of Tulsa, Okla.; one daughter-in-law, Wilma Lee McCool of Fayetteville; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday, May 12, at the Liberty Hill Church with Burley King officiating.
Burial was in Liberty Hill cemetery at Hunt under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers were Bob Lee, Jim Lee, Paul Vulgamore, Eric Vulgamore, Mike Lee, and T. R. Lee.
Honorary pallbearer was James Ledbetter.

Mrs. Nola Mae West

Mrs. Nola Mae West, 58, of Clarksville died Friday, May 12, 2000, at her home.
She was a native of Clarksville, daughter of the late Lafayette and Oma York Perry, member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church and an employee of Clarksville Convalescent Home.
She is survived by three daughters, Wanda Wimbush, Fannie Austin, and Linda Olaque, all of Clarksville; one son, Alfred Joe West Jr. of Clarksville; one sister, Lucky Juanita May of Fort Smith; two brothers, Joe Willie Perry Sr. and Nathaniel Perry, both of Clarksville; and three grandchildren, Latasha Austin, Alexis Wimbush and Ayanna Perry, all of Clarksville.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Monday, May 15, at Hardwicke Funeral Chapel with Rev. Gary Hinkle officiating. Burial was in Oakland cemetery.
Pallbearers were Sam Scott, Gary Perry, William Cotton, Aaron Kimbriel, Dale Montgomery and Johnny Bagsby.

Mrs. Ora B. Tumbleson

Mrs. Ora Bell Tumbleson, 81, of Lamar died Wednesday, May 10, 2000, in Clarksville.
She was a daughter of the late Charlie and Ellen Doak Dodge, widow of Harley Lenley Tumbleson, member of the Strawberry Assembly of God Church, and was preceded in death by one daughter, Imogene Parker; and one son, Gary Tumbleson.
She is survived by two sons, James Harley Tumbleson of Lenexa, Kan., and L. G. Tumbleson of Kent, Wash.; four sisters, Jewel Henderson of Belleville and Nora Pitts, Rosemae Galentine and Polly Holben, all of Lamar; two brothers, Eyns Dodge and Henry Perry, both of Lamar; 19 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 13, at the Strawberry Assembly of God Church with Rev. George Willis and Rev. William Hickman officiating.
Burial was in Minnow Creek cemetery under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers were Stacey Tumbleson, Marty Tumbleson, Darian Holman, Taylor Bogard, Jason Holman, and Michael Farris.
Honorary pallbearers were Kerry Tumbleson and L. G. Tumbleson Jr.
