Sarah Nicole Roble

Sarah Nicole Roble, 16, daughter of Robbin Roble of Clarksville, died Tuesday, June 8, 2004, at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock.
Other survivors include her mother, Dorene Roble of North Little Rock; one brother, Victor Roble of North Little Rock; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Don Mickey of North Little Rock; paternal grandmother, Lois Roble of Hartman; aunt, Paula Hartlein of Hartman; uncle and aunt, Wayne and Faye Roble of Clarksville; aunt and uncle, Madge and Ken Ormsby of Haywood, Wis.; and cousin, Dustin Hartlein of Hartman.
Funeral and burial were Saturday, June 12, at Griffin and Leggett Rest Hills in North Little Rock.
Memorials may be made to the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation, 8085 Saltsburg Road, Suite 201, Pittsburgh, PA 15239.

Charles Freeman Jr.

Charles Freeman Jr., 48, of Clarksville died Sunday, June 6, 2004.
He was owner of Freeman and Son Logging and son of the late Andy Freeman.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Robert Stufflebeam of Farmington; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Jason and Sara Freeman of Clarksville and Tyler Marlow of Lamar; mother and stepfather, Marie and Gerald McNinch of Russellville; three brothers, Andy Young of At-
kins, Lee Young of Pelsor, and Leo Young of Russellville; and five grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 11, at Roller-Cox Chapel with burial in Mt. Judea cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jason Freeman, Clifton Papasan, Ricky Young, Lee Young, Greg Tumbleson, Andy Young, and Leo Young.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 10, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Edith O. Crawford

Edith O. Crawford, 95, of Fort Smith died May 25, 2004, at Sparks Regional Medical Center.
She was a daughter of the late Peter and Mandy May Willey Kvatum, widow of Elton E. Crawford, Presbyterian, and retired artist and journalist.
She is survived by one son, Mark Bailey of Beverly Hills, Calif.
Private graveside services and burial were at noon Thursday, June 3, at Oakland cemetery in Clarksville with Rev. Amos Pledger officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Father Felix Fredeman

Father Felix Fredeman, 72, monk of Subiaco Abbey died Tuesday, June 1, 2004.
A native of Little Rock, he was a 1950 graduate of Subiaco Academy, attended classes at Benedictine Heights in Tulsa, Okla., Conception Abbey in Missouri, and the University of Notre Dame in Indiana where he received a master's degree in art in 1962. He was a former instructor at St. Bernard College in Cullman, Ala., and also taught religion, typing, English, and art at Subiaco Academy.
He was ordained to the priesthood in 1957, did pastoral work in the Subiaco deanery, and was appointed assistant pastor of St. Joseph Church in Paris, weekend and resident pastor of St. Anthony Mission in Ratcliff and assisted at Sacred Heart Church in Charleston.
He was the system administrator of the first computer network at Subiaco Abbey and was the computer editor of the sy0cf1Abbey Message, Alumni News and Calendarsy0cf1.
A Christian Wake service was held at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 3, the liturgy of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, June 4, in Saint Benedict Church at Subiaco, and interment was in Abbey cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Paris.

Hubert G. Jones

Hubert G. Jones, 70, of Springdale died Monday, June 7, 2004, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale.
A native of Copeland, he was a son of the late Cecil Jones, 1951 graduate of Springdale High School, former brick layer, and served in the United States Navy from 1952-56 as second class petty officer and boiler tender aboard the USS Washburn. After leaving the service he joined the family recapping business with locations in Clarksville and Springdale. The Clarksville shop closed in 1957 and the name of the Springdale business was later changed to Jones Tire and Auto Center which has operated at its original location for the past 58 years. He was a member of the First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church of Springdale where he served as a deacon, bus driver and sang in the choir.
He is survived by his widow, Sue Garrett Jones; two daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth Kay (Liz) and Jim Moore and Rebecca Sue (Becky) and Bob Pate, all of Springdale; mother, Erma Jones of Springdale; one sister, Wilma Barbee of Springdale; seven grandchildren, Amanda Pate, Melissa Pate, Jared Pate, Jessica Pate, Ryan Moore, Lauren Moore and Madison Moore, all of Springdale; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 10, at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale with Pastor Todd Anderson, Pastor Javier Moreno and Rev. Fred Barbee officiating. Burial will be in Bluff cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Ryan Moore, Jared Pate, Gaylon Davis, Steven Beam, Hal Hall and Rick Welch.
Honorary pallbearers will be Henry Rutherford, Mel Wilkins, Robert Foster, Carl Butler, Radell Robertson, Roy Barbee, Gary Murphy, Kenny Parson, Nolan Lyle, John Prater, and Dr. Duke Harris.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 9, at Sisco Funeral Home followed by the family receiving friends and relatives from 5-7 p.m.
Memorials may be made to First Landmark Baptist Church, P. O. Box 1165, Springdale, AR 72765.

Rocky Lee Hunt

Rocky Lee Hunt, 43, of Ozark died Saturday, June 5, 2004, in Ozark.
He was born in Fort Smith, son of the late Julian and Emma Gene Phillips Hunt, graduate of Clarksville High School, member of Quails Unlimited, and president of Hillbilly Hunting Camp.
Survivors include his widow, Toni Warren Hunt; one stepdaughter, Susan Sims of Maumelle; one stepson, Sonny Sims of Bradleyville, Mo.; two brothers, Ricky Hunt of Lamar and Robert Hunt of Greenwood; two nephews, Levon Hunt and Theron Hunt, both of Lamar; and five nieces.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 10, at Hardwicke Funeral Chapel with Wesley Kendrick as the speaker. The body will be cremated at Faith Crematory in Van Buren.
Active pallbearers will be Mike Reynolds, Larry Rudder, Jack Hodges, Gary Hogrefe, Russell Lemley, and Bobby Rider.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Childers, David McElroy, Jack Boggs, David Johnson, Rick Hunt, Theron Hunt, Levon Hunt, Tony Childers, Johnny Wood, Jerry Don Childers, Tom Sparks, Eddwin Kyle, Richard Rose, James Phillips, Mike Flint, and Scott Randolph.
Visitation will be from 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, at Hardwicke Funeral Home.

Thelma Izola Davis

Thelma Izola Davis, 77, of Clarksville died Friday, June 4, 2004, at Countryside Manor Nursing Home.
She was a cook, daughter of the late Arce Floyd and Mary Syble Rowbotham Curtis, and was preceded in death by one sister, Burnice Davis.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond Davis; two sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond and Violet Davis and James and Penny Davis, all of Athens, Ill.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lorine and Charles Money of Richwood, Mo., and Florine and Richard George of Barnhart, Mo.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Sue Curtis of Chillicothe, Ill., and Claude and Jan Curtis of St. Louis, Mo.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, at Mt. Home Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Amos Pledger officiating.
Burial will be in Hagarville cemetery under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Gary Don Felkins, Wayne Alderson, Willie Deramo, Ervin Collier, Gary Looper, Kyle Kuykendall, Frankie Rogers, and Ronald Reeves.

Verlyn Scott

Verlyn "Johnny" Scott, 71, of Clarksville died Sunday, June 6, at his home.
He was a native of Iowa, son of the late Henry H. and Minnie Irene Fishler Scott and an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by an infant son, one brother, Randy Scott, and one sister, Freda Matthews.
He is survived by four daughters, five sons, three sisters, Virginia Schmoker of Clarksville, Darlene Brown of Lamar and Shirley Talbot of Bloomfield, Iowa; three brothers, Richard Scott of Alma, Charles Scott of Agency, Iowa and Gene Scott of Ottumwa, Iowa; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 11, at Hardwicke Funeral Chapel with Rev. Phillip Sturdy officiating. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Steve Clark, Larry Schmoker, John Schmoker, Timothy Schmoker, Aaron Loftis, Robert Holliner and James Dahlem.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Thursday, June 10, at Hardwicke Funeral Home.

Oneil Morrison

A graveside memorial service and burial for Oneil Morrison, 89, of Rock Springs, Wyo., who died March 3, 2004, in Rock Springs, Wyo., will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 12, at Oakland cemetery with Rev. Tom Yandell officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
