Tommy Lee Wilson

Tommy Lee Wilson, 76, of Judsonia, formerly of Knoxville, died Tuesday, May 20, 2003, in Searcy.
He was a member of the Church of God in Judsonia, a retired carpenter, and was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Survivors include his widow, Julia Wilson; 12 children and spouses, Bonnie and Bob Nichols and LaNora and Jerry Gardner, all of Knoxville, Patsy and Roy Latham and Barbara and Harvey Latham, all of West Memphis, Janet and Ron Gordon, Anita and Larry Guthrie and Cathy and Linnie Crenshaw, all of Bald Knob, Shelia and John Keller of Russell, and Buster and Kim Underwood, Jurenda and Gary Franks, Rondia Riley and Ricky Wilson, all of Judsonia; one sister, Ester Williams of Knoxville; 21 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday, May 23, at the Bald Knob Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Carter cemetery in Russell.

Jacob R. Holzman

Jacob Rudolph (Dock) Holzman, 88, of Ozark, father of Charles Holzman of Hartman, died Wednesday, May 14, 2003, in Ozark.
A native of Logan County, he was a son of the late William Sebastian and Linda Highfield Holzman, farmer, cattle rancher, and Baptist.
He is survived by two daughters, Ruth Tolbert of Ozark and Wanda Pippin of Altus; one other son, Jack Holzman of Fort Smith; ten grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at Smith Mortuary Chapel in Charleston with burial in cemetery Ridge cemetery south of Ozark.
Pallbearers were Tom Culver, Mike Gattis, Lonnie Turner, James Hawkins, Taylor Gattis, and Danny Palarino.

Dorothea Collins

Dorothea Collins, 77, of Hunt died May 13, 2003, in Hunt.
She was a member of Goddard United Methodist Church in Fort Smith, president of the Harvesters Sunday School Class and a retired computer operator for Hardscrabble Country Club.
Survivors include her husband, J. R. Collins; one daughter, Cindy Pharr of Lincoln; and one grandchild.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday, May 16, in the chapel at Goddard United Methodist Church with burial at Forest Park cemetery under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.
Memorials may be made to Goddard United Methodist General Fund, 1922 Dodson Avenue, Fort Smith, AR 72901.

Kenneth E. Griffith Sr.

Kenneth E. Griffith Sr., 65, of Clarksville died Sunday, May 18, 2003, at his home.
He was born at Ozone, son of the late Oscar James and Susie Marie Estep Griffith, member of Second Baptist Church, and former employee of Quick Service Laundry and Cleaners and Mid South Roller.
Survivors include his widow, Joann Tong Griffith; one daughter, Jolena Tollison of Clarksville; two sons, Robert J. Griffith of Lamar and Edward Griffith Jr. of Savannah, Ga.; two brothers, R. B. Griffith and Vernon Griffith, both of Clarksville; eight grandchildren, Tara Griffith, Rena Johnson, Melissa Tripp, Tamara Tollison, Christie Tollison and Rusty Mize, all of Clarksville, and Gabriel Griffith and Luke Griffith, both of Savannah, Ga.; and one great-grandchild, Matthew Tripp of Clarksville.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, at Hardwicke Funeral Chapel with Rev. Matt Weaver officiating. Burial will be in Kendall cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Fred Dougan, Doug Hatchett, Larry Kasper, Rick Dailey, Travis Wilson, and Ronnie Greene.

Lera M. Goodin

Lera Morrow Goodin, 94, of Clarksville died Wednesday, May 14, 2003, in Clarksville.
She was born at Hartman, daughter of the late William A. and Lora Smith Morrow, widow of Joe Goodin, charter member of Hartman Baptist Church and a long-time Sunday school teacher, member of the Hartman Extension Homemakers Club, cook at Hartman School cafeteria for several years, and was preceded in death by two daughters, Martha Jo Williams and Wanda J. Ray; and one granddaughter, Rita Bolinger.
Survivors include one daughter, Lora D. Morris of Clarksville; one sister, Alma Morris of Hartman; eight grandchildren, Dean Edward Williams, Randy Joe Ray, Terri Sue Armstrong, Russ Ray, Ted Williams, Jerry Morris, Loretta Guiling, and Shiela King; 27 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday, May 16, at Hartman Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Reynolds and Rev. Sam Howell officiating.
Burial was in Hartman cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Floyd Hern, Tom Fowler, Lloyd Bailey, Gene Hern, Bob Rofkahr, and Jimmy Cowell.

Linda Hutchins

Linda Darnell Fetters Hutchins, 63, of Clarksville died Thursday, May 15, 2003, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
She was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church, daughter of the late Lloyd Curtis and Edna Inez Childress Fetters, and was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby Holman and Mary Woodard.
Survivors include her husband, James Scott (Jimmy) Hutchins; four daughters and sons-in-law, Debra Lynn and Stephen Elwood Williams III, Paula Ann and Rodney Gene Holland, and Angela Fay and Justin Levi Morgan, all of Clarksville, and Miranda Inez and William Bryant Holman of Lamar; six grandchildren, Kaitlain Rhiannon Morgan, Ariel Brian Holland, Brody James Holland, and Carter Levi Morgan, all of Clarksville, and Keegan Bryant Holman and Lindy Abagayle Holman of Lamar; four sisters, Willa Faye Wood and Brenda Gilbert, both of Clarksville, and Cathy Kay Denn and Audrey Arnetta Scruggs, both of Hernando, Miss., and five brothers, Laudell Fetters, Steve Fetters, Curtis Fetters, and Joe Fetters, all of Clarksville, and Earl Fetters of Lamar.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Monday, May 19, at the First United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Vernon Long, Rev. Michael Minniear, and Rev. Mike Farris officiating.
Burial was in Lamar cemetery under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers were Ancil Hutchins, Phil Woodard, Vic Gilbert, John Wood, Kevin Walton, and Jairus Martin.
Honorary pallbearers were Wendell Woodard, Jerry Woodard, William Smith, Norman Smith, Daniel Fetters, Dennis Fetters, Dalton Fetters, Brian Fetters, Curtis Scruggs, Chip Scruggs, Lance Fetters, Travis Fetters, Dustin Fetters, Wesley Fetters, Jonathan Fetters, Jerry Cowell, Travis Cowell, Tony Holman, Eric Holman, Terry Holman, Ronnie Hutchins, Donnie Hutchins, and Jordan Hutchins.

Alma Green

Alma Green, 79, of Little Rock died Monday, May 12, 2003, at her home.
A native of the Piney Community, she was a daughter of the late Fred Arthur and Bertha Lena Ruhl Mauritz, widow of Al Green, Baptist and managed residential property for numerous years. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur and Ernest Mauritz; and one sister, Lucile Tippey.
She is survived by two sisters, Cloe Thomas and Cleo Nierstheimer, both of Little Rock; six nephews; four nieces; and numerous great-nephews; great-nieces; great-great-nephews; and great-great-nieces.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, at Shinn Funeral Service Chapel in Russellville with Rev. Susan Morris officiating. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery at Clarksville.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to the Baptist Health Hospice, 11900 Colonel Glenn Road, Suite 2300, Little Rock, AR 72210-2827.

Barbara Ann Allen

Barbara Ann Allen, 63, of Shreveport, La., died Wednesday, May 7, 2003, in Shreveport, La.
Survivors include four daughters, Cynthia King of Ruston, La., Deanna Dunlap of Lamar, and Tonya Higgs and Carla Cossey, both of Russellville; two sons, Timothy Higgs of Russellville and Bobby Allen of Shreveport, La.; four sisters, Betty Curtis and Evelyn Oliver, both of Clarksville, Patsy Jenkins of Bentonville, and June Floyd of Charleston; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 10, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in Ruston, La., with Rev. Dan Moore officiating. Burial was in Pines Memorial cemetery.
Pallbearers were Bryan King, Josh Heardman, Michael Cossey, Timothy Parnell, Tommy Scroggins, and Wade Dunlap.

Dewey Sumonja

Dewey Sumonja, 83, of Clarksville died Saturday, May 10, 2003, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
He was a retired maintenance employee, son of the late Dako and Jela Milich Sumonja, and was preceded in death by three sisters and six brothers.
Survivors include his widow, Edna Bush Griffith Sumonja; one daughter, Slobodanka Radovic of Libertyville, Ill.; one son, Rade Sumonja of Poway, Calif.; two stepdaughters, Judith Richards of Zion, Ill., and Marne Griffith of Vancouver, Wash.; two stepsons, Robert Griffith of Grove City, Ohio, and Neal Griffith of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; 10 step grandchildren; and 16 step-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held in Libertyville, Ill., on June 14.
