Ashley Crocker Elliott
(September 11, 1973 - August 27, 2011)
Ashley Crocker Elliott was born September 11, 1973 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Crocker. She graduated high school in Brookland, Arkansas and attended Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia. Ashley obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 1997 from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Pharmacy. She was employed as the Assistant Pharmacy Manager at Walmart Pharmacy in Bryant. Ashley will forever be remembered for her sweet spirit, beautiful smile, incredible strength and abundant courage. Ashley succumbed to complications related to breast cancer on Saturday, August 27, 2011 while in the arms of her husband.
Ashley is survived by her dedicated and loving husband, Britt Elliott; daughter, Eden; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Crocker of Jonesboro; sister and brother-in-law, Cari and Coy Boyd of Jonesboro and their three sons; grandmother, Vivian Thacker of Brookland; in-laws, Paul and Barbara Elliott of Maumelle; and numerous family members and friends. The family would like to express sincere gratitude for the outstanding care and support given by Dr. Diane Wilder and staff at Little Rock Hematology Oncology.
Visitation will be held at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills in Alexander, Arkansas from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 30th. The family will hold a private burial at Macedonia cemetery in Brookland, Arkansas. A memorial will be held in celebration of Ashley’s life at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31st at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro, Arkansas with a visitation immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Ashley Elliott Memorial Fund. Memorials may be made in person at any Arvest Bank branch or mailed to Arvest Bank c/o Ashley Elliott Memorial Fund P.O. Box 2220 Little Rock, Arkansas 72203.

Stephen Robert Ralston
(September 15, 1950 - July 21, 2011)
Stephen Robert Ralston, 60, of Jonesboro entered into eternal rest on Thursday July 21, 2011, at NEA Baptist Hospital.
Stephen was born in Dayton, Ohio to the late Robert and Doris Ralston. He was in the United States Air Force, and was an Air Traffic Controller before retiring from the FAA. He moved to Jonesboro in 1980, where he and his wife, Marie, raised their two children, Cindy and Scott. He loved being with his family, and was an active member of Walnut Street Baptist Church.
Stephen was preceded in death by his Parents, Robert and Doris Ralston.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Ralston of the home; a daughter, Cindy Chadwick and her husband, Chad of Jonesboro; a son, Scott Ralston and wife, Lorri of Jonesboro; one brother, Jim Ralston of Lawrenceville, Georgia; a sister, Linda Ralston of Warner Robins, Georgia; six grandchildren, Emily Ralston, Cole Chadwick, Brett and Jerisa Gann, Tracy Carpenter, Taylor Isom; three great-grandchildren, Evyn Roedel, Emma Roedel, Laynee Gann, and many other loved ones and friends.
Active pallbearers will be Brett Gann, Tracy Carpenter, Taylor Isom, Christopher Norris, Justin Norris, Kyle Floyd, and Caleb Floyd.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ron Hatley’s Sunday School Class, Co-workers from the Jonesboro Flight Service Station.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Emerson Memorial Chapel in Jonesboro with Dr. Glen Putman and Bro. Jerry Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Nettleton cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 5-7 at Emerson Funeral Home.

Dallene Tilley
(July 28, 1974 - July 16, 2011)
Dallene Tilley, 36, of Jonesboro, died Saturday at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born in Jonesboro and had lived here most of her life. She was an active member of Faith Tabernacle and loved helping people. She was an adventurous person and loved to shop.
She is survived by her children, Zachary Tilley, Jennifer Tilley; her parents, Dallas & Sue Tilley; brothers, Buddy Tilley, Wendell Tilley, Tony Tilley, all of Jonesboro, and Jerry Tilley, Lake City; and one sister, Kelly Tilley of Jonesboro. She is also survived by her closest friend, Sherri Robinson.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2:00 p.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brother Bradley Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Johnston cemetery near Reyno. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Active pallbearers will be Jamie Herrall, Jeff Herrall, Mickey Tilley, Chris Tilley, Matthew Tilley, Mark Tilley, Nathan Robinson, and John Tilley.
Visitation will be Monday from 12:00 until time of service at the funeral home.

Frank Major Cole
(March 15, 1926 - July 29, 2011)
Frank Major Cole, “that driving spinning fullback from the College of the Ozarks, one time thought to be the GREATEST fullback Arkansas has ever seen” (his own personal quote!), went to be with his Lord and Savior this past Friday morning, July 29, 2011. Frank was born to John and Bernice (Maj) Cole of Brinkley, Arkansas on March 15, 1926. He and Shorty (Clarissa Stith) married their senior year of high school (Class of 1944) several months before he left for training in the Army Air Corps. He was a ball turret gunner during WWII on a B-24 Liberator. He was the last member of his B-24 crew to die.
He was a pharmacist by trade and worked in the Jonesboro, Arkansas and boot heel of Missouri territory for the Upjohn Company for 30 + years. He was often their top salesman. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He served on the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy for many years. He also served on the Board of Trustees at the University of the Ozarks. Through all of these organizations he met many lifelong friends and buddies. He cherished these people dearly. The week prior to his death in the hospital, he greeted everyone with his trademark expression, “I’m living like a king; never had a bad day in my life!”. Up until just moments before he died he told each caregiver that came into his room, “I’m doing just great!”. He was forever the optimist. All of you who loved him and cared for him, please know how grateful we are to you for your investment in his life.
Special thanks to the Drug Store Crew, the Sunday School Crew, Reggie Cullum, and all his doctors these last couple of years, especially Dr. White and his staff. Thanks also to Amanda for making these last 6 months so special for him.
He will be greatly missed by his children, Pam (Cole) and David Barnett, Rayanna (Cole) and Jerry Brawner, and Mauri Cole. He also leaves behind his precious grandchildren, Jenn (Barnett) and Scott Nipps, Cheryl Ann Barnett, and John David Barnett, Jenise (Brawner) and Stephen Livesay, Julianne (Brawner) and Jared Hoerman, Jenny (Brawner) and Joe Fanning, Courtney (Davison) Carnes, Ben Davison, Claire Cole, and Anastasia Cole. He also has 10 great grandchildren.
Any memorials could be made to the University of the Ozarks, 415 North College Avenue, Clarksville, Arkansas 72830, or First United Methodist Church, 801 Main Street, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401. We know for sure that Daddy is “living with the King, and will never ever have another bad day.”
Visitation will be Monday from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at First United Methodist Church, Jonesboro, Arkansas with Reverend John Miles II officiating on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Emerson Funeral Home in charge. Active pallbearers Scott Nipps, John David Barnett, Stephen Livesay, Joe Fanning, Jared Hoerman, Ben Davison and Jim Scurlock. Honorary pallbearers are Senator Percy Malone, H. D. Alston MD, John Douglas PD, Charlie Campbell PD, Reggie Cullum MD, and Doyle E. Gilliam. Burial will be private.

Michael Lynn Uthoff
(April 17, 1950 - July 20, 2011)
Michael Lynn Uthoff, 61, of Jonesboro died Wednesday July 20, 2011 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center.
Born in Malden, Missouri, he had lived in Jonesboro for 29, years. He was a retired Chief Engineer on the river boat and of the Baptist belief.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewayne (Dub) Uthoff and Aline Cato (Uthoff) Oakley.
Survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Debbie Uthoff of the home. Son, Jeffery Uthoff of Siloam Springs, Arkansas Daughters, Teresa Hazelwood (Tom) of Jonesboro and Michelle Ray (Steve) of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Brother, Dewayne Uthoff (Sharon) of West Plains, Missouri. 6 grandchildren and various nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday July 23, 2011 at Emerson Memorial Chapel, with Pastor Dave Burgess officiating. Burial will be private with Emerson Funeral Home in charge. There will be no visitation.
Family requests that lasting memorials be made to the American Heart Association 909 W. 2nd street Little Rock, Arkansas 72201.

Ronald James Deyo
Ronald James Deyo, age 68, of Fayetteville, died December 25, 2013 at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born December 20, 1945, in Lynn, Massachusetts, and was the son of Rick and Dorothy Strong Minton. He was a Christian and had worked as a machinist for Emerson Electric Company. He enjoyed restoring hot rod cars and playing pool.
He served in the United States Army in the 101st Airborne and was a marksman.
He is survived by his loving companion, Laura Chelston, of the home; one step-son, rlise Walker, of Huntsville; three step-daughters: Nikki Cherry and David, of Rochester, New York; Laura McNelly, of Fayetteville; and Elizabeth Bible of Fayetteville; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at a later date.
Cremation was under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home with inurnment at Fayetteville National cemetery.
