Billy Don Evans
Billy Don Evans, 74, of Rogers died Saturday July 31, 2004. He was born April 5, 1930 in Bee Branch to the late Bill Evans and Nica Johnson Evans and was preceded in death by his brother, Leon ‘Jitter’ Evans.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rogers, an amateur radio operator with call letters N5DYS and a gifted musician.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Evans of Rogers; daughters Vicki and husband Thomas Deason Jr of Rogers, Terri and husband Michael McMillan of North Little Rock, Kristi and husband Burke Brackett of Rogers; nine grandchildren; a brother, John Evans Sr of Conway; a sister, Rita Potts of Batesville, and another brother, Jim Evans of Bloomington, IL.
Funeral services were Tuesday, August 3 at Bee Branch Baptist Church with Rev. John Evans Jr. officiating; interment was in Bee Branch cemetery.
Pallbearers included Thomas Deason Jr, Michael McMillan, Burke Brackett, Thomas Deason III, Dennis Evans, David Evans. Honorary pallbearers were Mason McMillan, Evan Lawrence and Joel Brackett.
Arrangements were by Roller-McNutt of Conway.
Memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Arkansas Affiliate, 904 Autumn Road, Suite 500, Little Rock, AR 72211.

Timothy Payne
Timothy Mark Payne, 37, of Clinton died Tuesday, July 27, 2004. He was born January 9, 1967 and was raised in Clinton.
Survivors include a daughter, Nicole Payne, and two sons, Cody and Jacob Payne, all of Clinton; his father and stepmother, Charles and Edna Payne of Clinton; his mother and stepfather, David and Geneva Owens of Greenbrier; a brother, Dallas Payne of New Braunfels, TX; two sisters, Joann Rolen of Branson, MO and Michelle Collins of Greenbrier; stepbrothers Frank Slack and Alan Slack of Arkansas, John Robert Slack of Oregon and Jimmy Slack of Missouri, and a stepsister, Barbara McKinney of Arkansas, and several nieces and nephews. His grandparents are Rachel Payne and the late Elliott Payne of Clinton and Augustus Cooley and the late Beulah Cooley, also of Clinton.
Services were held Friday, July 30 at Roller-McNutt chapel in Clinton; a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Syneda Gray
Syneda Bell Gray, 47, of Shirley died Sunday, July 25, 2004. She was born November 15, 1956 in Georgia, the daughter of Loyd and Edna Dykes White. She was a homemaker, and was a Baptist.
Survivors include her mother, Edna White of Florida; three children, Shana Harder of Shirley and Candace Coleman and Christopher Hinsey, both of Florida; a half-brother and half-sister, Thad White and Ann White and her companion Rick Roberson of Shirley, and three grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday, July 31 at Shady Grove Church with Ester Bass officiating; interment was at Shady Grove cemetery by Roller-McNutt of Clinton.
Pallbearers included Tim Harper, Danny Cates, Eddie Watts, O.C. Ethridge, Laland Huggins and Phillip Burges.

Paul Dunham
Paul C. Dunham, 87, of Scotland died Tuesday, July 27, 2004 at his home. He was born December 29, 1916 at Bono to the late Walter and Cora Medskar Dunham. He was preceded in death by six brothers, three sisters, a great-granddaughter and by his wife, Oma.
He was a timber worker and a farmer, and a member of the Scotland Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include his children, Grover and Helen Dunham, Walter and Karen Dunham, Troy and Barbara Dunham, Reba and Don Ramsey and Marie Ramsey, all of Scotland; a brother, Richard Dunham of Illinois; five sisters, Ethel Lawson, Mary vanWinkle, Sally van Winkle, Sarah Jones and Clara Kreech, all of Imboden; 28 grandchildren, and 36 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Friday, July 30 at Scotland Assembly of God with Donnie Love officiating. Interment was at Foster cemetery by Roller-McNutt of Clinton.
Active pallbearers were Eric Coward, Steven Huffman, Bill Haines, Donald Ramsey. Curtis Dunham and Rick Standridge.
Honorary pallbearers were Jay Hagans, Jeff Coward, Bobby Gardner, Kenneth Minton, Steven Lowder and Daniel Gardner.

Laverne Roten
Laverne Eggers Hutson Rolen died Thursday, July 28, 2004 following a long illness. She was born February 17, 1920 in Derby, IA. Although residing n several states she had lived most of her life in Arkansas, and before her retirement she owned her own beauty shop for about 20 years in Clinton, the Kurley Kut. She attended First Baptist Church until she was no longer able. Most recently she had resided at Ozark Health Nursing Center.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Henry Emmet Hutson, in 1982, and by her second, Don Roten, in 1998; her parents, Henry Eggers and Daisy Davenport Jones; by two brothers, Fred Eggers and Robert Eggers, and by a sister, Bernice Roten, a granddaughter and a great-grandson.
Survivors include a son, Robert Harold Hutson and wife June; three grandchildren; a brother, Ray Eggers of Clinton and a sister-in-law, Emma Jean Hutson, also of Clinton; two sisters-in-law in South Bend, IN, Nellie Eggers and Norma Eggers, and a number of nieces, nephews and many friends.
Funeral services were held August 2 at Roller-McNutt chapel in Clinton with Rev. Heath Tyler of First Baptist Church officiating. Interment was at Huie cemetery beside her husband, Henry Hutson, by Roller-McNutt of Clinton.

Pat Vierregger
Patricia Elaine Carman Vierregger, 73, of Edgemont died Tuesday, August 24, 2004. She was the daughter of the late Floyd E. and Hilma L. Wheat Carman.
She was a member of Holiday Hills United Methodist Church and had served on a number of committees, including building, finance and pastor-parish relations; had been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for 53 years, and was Past Worthy Matron of Lakeview Chapter 609, and had served as District Grand Lecturer. She was an active member of Xi Gamma Zeta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi in Fairfield Bay, and had served as chapter president.
Over the years she had served as president of the local PTA/PTSO, as a Brownie den mother, Girl Scout leader and a campaign fundraiser for cancer, heart and diabetes associations. she was a longtime member of the IRV Health Care Center auxiliary, had been vice president of the Lake Park; Circle Acres Water Improvement District, was a member of the Red Hat Fillies Club and was a co-owner of The Real Estate Center. Inc.
Survivors include her husband Bob; a daughter and son-in-law, Stacy and Ron Tyra of Prague, OK, one grandson and a first cousin.
Funeral services were held Friday, August 27 at Holiday Hills United Methodist Church in Greers Ferry with Rev. Denzel Stokes officiating. Arrangements were by Olmstead Funeral Home of Heber Springs.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the church building fund, or to the Greers Ferry Volunteer Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box 1264, Greers Ferry, AR 72067.

Betty Jo Bradley
Betty Jo Finton Bradley, age 74, of Searcy passed away August 30, 2004.
She was born May 1, 1930 to the late Hugh and Vinita Harrington Finton and lived several years in Clinton. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Beta Sigma Phi, P.E.O. (serving as chapter president in Aurora, MO) and a hospital volunteer (Pink Ladies), also in Aurora.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one infant daughter;, and by two brothers, Bill Finton and Joe Finton.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Tom Burt Bradley; one son, Dr. Sam B. Bradley, his wife, Mitzi Noble Bradley, and their children Drew Bradley of Fayetteville and Morgan Bradley York and her husband, Wade, of Ft. Smith; two daughters, Dr. Neta Bradley Wood, her husband Doug, and their children Douglas and Stephanie of Jonesboro; and Sharon Bradley Hill, her husband, James, and their children, Jennifer and Jonathan of Jackson, TN; two brothers, Jack Finton and John Finton; three sisters, Ollie Harper, Janie Ross and Linda Rogers, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 2, in the chapel of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy, with Rev. Mike Morey officiating. Burial will follow in White County Memorial Gardens under the direction of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 304 N. Main Street, Searcy or to Hospice Home Care, 106 S. Spring Street, Searcy in honor of Nurse’s Aides Darlene Webb and Amy Usery for their devoted care of Betty.

Stella Allen
Stella Allen, 91, of Madison, TN died August 27, 2004. She was born September 12, 1912. She was preceded in death by her husband, Winfred William Allen; by her parents, two daughters, a son, five grandsons, a sister and a brother.
She had been a Jehovah’s Witness since 1950 and attended Kingdom Hall in Madison, where her memorial service will be conducted at 6 p.m. Saturday, September 4.
Survivors include daughters Marion and husband J.B. Wilson of Portland, TN; Bonnie Anderson of Franklin, KY and Beverly and husband Chuck Stanford of Greenbrier, TN; sons Eddie Allen of Roscommon, MI, Joe Allen of Elkhart, IN, Doyle ‘Bill’ Allen of Trinity, TX, Jim Allen of Spring, TX, Gerald Allen of Rawlins, WY and Kenny Allen of Dublin, GA; a sister, Jessie Shelly, and a brother, Henry Glass, both of Hayti, MO; 39 grandchildren, 73 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are by Madison Funeral Home of Madison.

Cloy Berry
Cloy M. Berry, 83, of Shirley died Monday, September 27, 2004 at Indian Rock Village in Fairfield Bay. He was born October 1, 1920 at Rushing, the son of the late Richard Lex and Hattie E. Ross Berry. He was preceded in death by a son, Gary Lane Berry.
He was a veteran of World War II with service in the U.S. Army; was a retired truck driver and timber worker, and was a Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter, Karen Denton of Oklahoma; a brother, Kenneth Berry of Shirley, and a sister, Lois Compton of Houston, TX, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services were held Thursday, September 30 at Antioch Baptist Church with Glen Williams officiating; interment was at Rushing cemetery by Roller-McNutt of Clinton.
Active pallbearers included Claudie Berry Jr., Jim Berry, Mark Berry, Ronald Berry, Donald Berry and Norman Dean Watts.

Robert Kleedorfer
Robert Charles Kleedorfer, 65, of Clinton died Sunday, October 3, 2004. He was born January 23, 1939 at Phillipsburg, NJ, son of the late Fredrick George Kleedorfer and Mattie Belle Newman Kleedorfer. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, was an engineering traffic supervisor and a Christian.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Lance Kleedorfer of the home; a son, Joe Y. Kleedorfer of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; a brother, Jerry Kleedorfer of Phillipsburg; a sister, Ethel Dietz of Easton, PA and one grandchild.
A memorial service is planned at a later date; arrangements are by Roller-McNutt of Clinton.
