Marzell Graham
Marzelle Jean Graham, 81, of Damascus, Ark., went to be with the Lord, joining her daughter Karen in heaven who had been waiting seven years for her mother, Friday, June 21, 2013. She was born Sept. 5, 1931, at Damascus to the late Ellis and Verlie (Fleming) Hutto.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis and Verlie Hutto; three brothers and two sister-in-laws on the Hutto side, Arvil, Clell, Adron, Lodean and Sharon. also Graham family members Tommy and Ruby Graham.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Cecil K. Graham; her dog Little Bit also known as her baby; a very special sister Ann Hutto; two brothers, Bill Hutto (Cloetta) and James Hutto (Lavina); sister-in-law Lorretta Whilloby Hutto; children of Arvil and Lodean Hutto, a very special niece Vicki Hutto, Donna Hall, Greg Hutto (Debbie), Chris Hutto (Leah); children of James Hutto (Lavina ) Randy Hutto (Shane), Doug Hutto (Lori); child of Bill Hutto (Cloetta) Bobby Hutto (Robin); child of Adron Hutto (Sharon) Susie Hutto; several great nieces and nephews, Cody Watkins (Tiffany) Kayson, Lindsey Parish (Jared) Hannah and Sarah, Courtney Watkins Brittany, Abby Codi, Hunter, Courtney, Katie, Maggie, Sierra, Lilly, Holly, Jacob, Nathan, Ashley Manning (Richard) Kaitlin, Bethany, Amanda McAlease (Bernie) Elijah; family of Ernest and Dolphie Graham; Jimmy Ferrell and Karen Edward and Paulette Graham; child of Ernest Graham Ernestine Smart; children of Joe Graham and Betty Graham McDonald; Virginia, Stanley, Nancy and Danny;a very special friend Donna Turner.
The family would like to say a special thanks to Hospice / Home Health, Karnisa Bowen and Bath Aide Nichole. Also a very special thanks to care takers Nancy Weaver, Carol Martinez, Lindsey Parish and Anne Bradford.
Pallbearers are her nephews Greg Hutto, Chris Hutto, Randy Hutto, Doug Hutto, Bobby Hutto, and Cody Watkins. Honorary pallbearer Jimmy Graham.
Visitation was Sunday, June 23, 2013, and funeral service was 10 a.m. Monday, June 24, 2013, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel Clinton, Ark., with Pastor James Hutto officiating. Burial was at Bee Branch cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home.

Richard Daye
Richard James Daye, age 64, of Clinton, Ark., formerly of Mountain Home, Ark., passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013, near Marshall, Ark. He was born March 1, 1949, in Chicago, Ill., to Eugene Ignatius and Laura June Karris Daye.
He moved to Mountain Home in 1964 from Chicago. Mr. Daye was a graduate of Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, Ark., and was a music teacher and band director with the Clinton Public Schools. He lived in Clinton for over 16 years and was a member and the organist at St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Clinton. He was a member of the Arkansas Tech Alumni Association and enjoyed arrowhead collecting, kayaking and archaeology. He loved and respected the earth and always came to his family’s home in Mountain Home each Friday evening for “Family Night,” playing cards and Yahtzee.
Survivors are his father Eugene Daye; one brother, Jeffrey (Janice) Daye; two sisters, Maureen (Tom) Daye and Karen Daye, all of Mountain Home; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and a sister, Jean Marie Daye.
Private graveside services will be at Baxter Memorial Gardens. A Memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Mountain Home with Rev. Christopher Okeke as celebrant. The family will receive friends at a luncheon in St. Peter’s Parish Hall following the Mass. Memorials may be made to the Clinton Public School Music Program.

Brett Phillips
Brett Dwain Phillips, 51, of Clinton, passed away Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013. Born Nov. 30, 1962, in Duarte, Calif., to the late Donald E. Phillips and Carolyn Anne Melby Phillips, Brett had worked in construction until he became disabled.
Mr. Phillips is survived by his mother, Carolyn Phillips of Casper, Wyo.; three daughters, Ashley Hosley and Michelle Breeze, both of Idaho, and Chloe Phillips of Clinton, Ark.; two brothers, Lance Phillips and wife Dallas of Fairfield Bay, Ark., and Mark Phillips of Wyoming; two sisters, Katrina Waggoner of California, and Mary Anne Phillips of Wyoming; three grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
A private family memorial service is planned for a later date. Arrangements under the direction of Clinton Funeral Service.

Randal Hillyer
Randal Jene Hillyer, 58, of Clinton, Ark., passed away with his family at his side Friday, Nov. 29, 2013, due to complications from Huntington disease. Beloved son of Jack and Jo Harris Hillyer. Randy was born Jan. 6, 1955, in Anadarko, Okla.
He worked for the state of Alaska, was on staff for the election of Jimmy Carter, and served in the United States Air Force. After completion of his tour at Nellis Air Force Base, Randy returned to Arkansas where he became a licensed respiratory therapist.
Randy was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother; son Tarek Hillyer of Fort Riley, Kansas; daughter, Halee Hillyer of Clinton; and two sisters, Cindy Hillyer and Jeana Williams of Clinton.
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America.
Family gathering with Friends 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013, with 6:30 p.m. Memorial Service at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel, Clinton, Ark.
Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Roller-McNutt Funeral Home.

Charles Sidney Hill
Charles Sidney Hill was born Sept. 28, 1937, to David B. Hill Sr. and Irene (Ledbetter) Hill at the Hill home in Martinville, Ark. He was found in that final sleep at his home on Thanksgiving Day, having made his famous pecan pie before going to bed the night before.
Charles was known for his fun-loving nature, always a story to tell and always there to help when he was needed. Charles lived life fully. He loved family and especially the antiques and pieces of his growing up on the farm. He was a talented craftsman and enjoyed any type of firearm.
He is predeceased by his parents, former wife Beverly, brother D.B. Hill Jr., sister Faye Moreno, grandson Jordan, and beloved Gert.
Survivors include his children, Rodney Hill (Kathy) of Clinton, Kevin Hill (Jenn) of North Carolina, daughters Jeanie Hill, Karen Hill and Sharon Vosburgh of Maryland; sister, Jean Dyer, Charlottesville, Va.; two special nieces, Sherry Stelling, Afton, Va., and Emily Hill of Martinville; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and Babe, his beloved dog.
Todd Stephens will conduct a memorial for Charles at Roller-McNutt in Greenbrier at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, with visitation following. Charles was a proud veteran of the Army and will be remembered this day by the Honor Guard. Charles’ ashes will be placed in Martinville cemetery by family in the Spring.
In lieu of flowers you may remember Charles by contributing to the Martinville cemetery, Humane Society, or charity of your choice.

Vivian Castro
Vivian Petite Castro, 93, of Fairfield Bay, Ark., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013. She was born Oct. 29, 1920 in Los Angeles, Calif., to the late Dean and Janice (Boothe) Markham.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James L. Castro; and daughter, Lynn Castro. She is survived by her son, Lawrence Castro and wife Jeanne of Fairfield Bay, Ark., and many relatives and friends.
Cremation Arrangements have been entrusted to Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Clinton, Ark.

Mary Wood
Mary Kathleen Wood, 55, of Shirley, passed away Dec. 17, 2013. Survivors include her sons, Jerry Wood (Shana) and Clayton Wood; daughters, Miranda Morrison (Brent) and Kayla Wood; grandson, Braxton Morrison; and a host of loving family.
Services will be 5:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23, at Shirley First Baptist Church. Arrangements by Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Court, (501) 224-2200.

Ray Edwards
Ray Edwards, 81, of Bee Branch passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013. He was born on Tuesday, March 15, 1932, in Fairbanks, Ark., to the late Olen and Florence (Holland) Edwards.
He is survived by five sons, Denny Edwards (Connie), Michael Edwards (Judy), Ricky Dean Edwards, Ryan Edwards (Beverlee), and Eric Edwards; three daughters, Karen Scarberry (Eddie), Charlotte Hudspeth (David), and Ellen Willis (Ricky); 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Edith Kennedy and Patsy McCormick; and brothers, Daniel Fay Edwards and Colen Edwards.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Bonnie (Duncan) Edwards; and brother, Fay Edwards.
Services were 12 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013, at Sand Springs Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Cecil Burgess officiating. Burial was at Sand Springs cemetery with Kalab Scarberry, Justin Hudspeth, Ray Edwards, Daniel Edwards, Cody Willis, and Riley Roberson serving as pallbearers. Haze Hulse, Olen Edwards, Isaac Hulse, Wrigley Stacy, and Logan Ward were honorary pallbearers. Arrangements by Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway.

William McKinney
SCPO William Akin McKinney, 87, of Cleveland, Ark., passed away Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at Conway Regional Medical Center. He was born April 17, 1926, in Bath Springs, Tenn., to the late Henry and Jane (Weatherly) McKinney.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served for 22 1/2 years starting during World War II. William was very proud of his military service career.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Henry McKinney, and Frank McKinney, and a sister, Sara Schrader. He is survived by his loving wife Colene (Hendrix) McKinney of the home; two sons, Patrick McKinney of Deltona, Fla., and Billy McKinney of Nashville, Tenn.; two daughters, Bridget Lane of Dover, Delaware, and Rebecca Nokes of Smyrna, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one step-son, Neil Weaver; two step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ann Pepin of Memphis, Tenn., and Dorothy Rankin of Knoxville, Tenn.; and many close friends.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Clinton, Ark.

Cecil Sharp
Cecil Ray Sharp, 74, of Scotland, Ark., passed away Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, at Ozark Health Medical Center. He was born July 27, 1939, in Bluffton, Ark., to the late Cecil Earl and Elsie (Dobbs) Sharp.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Joyce Sharp; a brother, Bobby Sharp. He is survived by his loving wife of six years, Bonnie L. (Standridge) Sharp of the home; son Clinton Sharp of Clinton, Ark.; daughter Twanette Booher of Clinton; three step-children, Steve (Nita) Chadwick, and Samuel (Jodie) Chadwick, both of Malvern, Ark., and Monica (John) Love of Scotland, Ark.; four grandchildren, Anthony, Felicia, and Matthew Bramlett, and Alyssa Lawrence; three great-grandchildren, Justin Satten, Kira Haskal, and Aiden Stennit; seven step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and many brothers, sisters, extended family, multiple nieces, nephews, and close family friends.
Memorial service was 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013, at Scotland Baptist Church with Charles Deckelman officiating. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Clinton, Ark.

Arthur Horton
Arthur Horton, 91, of Clinton, Ark., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013, at his home. He was born July 22, 1922, in Cotton Valley, La., to Arthur and Mabel Horton.
The family moved to Newport, Ark., when he was a small boy, and he lived his youth in Newport and Little Rock, Ark.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Kathleen; an infant daughter; and one granddaughter, Lenesha Jarka. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Evelyn (Matthews) Horton; daughter Jo (Stan) Serio; daughter Carol (Bill) Orr; four grandchildren, Randy Serio, Kyle, Jason, and Tyrec Jarka; and two great-grandchildren, Danelle and Ezra Jarka; and many close friends.
Art volunteered for military duty in 1944 and saw action on D-Day at Gold Beach, and later in the Philippines. He promised God he would never volunteer for anything again. And he didn’t.
Arthur retired from Colonial Baking Company after 23 years, then was employed by Ben’s Exxon, and Morgan Hinges, Inc.
He was a member of Clinton Methodist Church and an enthusiastic amateur radio operator.
He leaves many friends in Clinton and Little Rock to cherish his memory.
Memorial service was 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at Clinton United Methodist Church with Paster George Odell officiating. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Clinton.
