Barbara Ione Hollon

50, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away July 23, 2009 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born September 27, 1958 in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Alvin and Patricia Cerrito Hollon.

She was a member of the Farmington Church of the Nazarene and was a licensed Radiological Technologist.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include two daughters, Amanda Chavez of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Breana Chavez of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; one sister and brother in law Laura and Doug Whorton of London, Arkansas; one brother, Dale Hollon of Missouri.

Memorial service will be held Thursday, July 30, 2009 - 10:00 A.M. at the Farmington Church of the Nazarene in Farmington, Arkansas with Earl Baker officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Farmington Church of the Nazarene 9 South Cherry St. Farmington, Arkansas 72730.

C. Louise Woodward

86, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord, July 21, 2009 at her home in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. She was born June 2, 1923 in Swartz, Louisiana, the daughter of Melvin T. and Edna Earl Crowder Waldrop.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband, A.D. Rusty Woodward, her daughter in law, Linda Woodward and eight brothers and sisters.

Survivors include one son, Glen Woodward of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; two grandsons, Pat Woodward and his wife, Angela, of Springdale, Arkansas and G.A. (Rusty) Woodward and his wife, Nancy; four great grandchildren, Garrett Woodward, Collin Woodward, Evan Nuessner and Morgan Nuessner; one sister, Marie Worsham of Plains, Texas, one sister in law, Margaret Waldrop of Bossier City, Louisiana.

Family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 25, 2009 - 10:00 A.M. Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas with Joe Jones officiating. Interment will be in the Prairie Grove cemetery in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Grave side services will not be held at the cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Shiloh Community Church 4262 W Mt. Comfort Rd. Fayetteville, Arkansas, 72704.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Bryan Jones, Scott Lisenbee, Collin Woodward, Garrett Woodward, Evan Nuessner and Murph Pair

Arrangements are under the direction of the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

93, a longtime resident of the Morrow Community, went home to be with her Lord on September 9, 2008 in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born March 28, 1915 at Wayton, Arkansas, the daughter of John Green Holland and Minnie Jane Henderson Holland

She was a deeply dedicated minister's wife and homemaker.

Lorena was preceded in death by the love of her life, Rev. Coy C. Page, four brothers and five sisters.

Survivors include one son, Billy John Page and his wife Auda Ray of Van Buren, Arkansas; two daughters, Loretta Wilcox and her husband, Ron of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Kathey Wilson and her husband Stan of Springdale, Arkansas; three sisters, Audie Latta of Kansas City, Kansas, Ardith Murr of Prairie Grove, Arkansas and Ruth Norton of Morrow, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Brent Wilcox, Jackie Bond, Chris Page and wife, Lisa, Robin Wornkey and husband, Archie, and Mike Wilson and wife, Mary Katherine. eight great grandchildren, Sara Smith, Jay Bond, Zach Wornkey, HarLee Wornkey, Hannah Wornkey, Heather Davis, Colton Davis and Mackenzie Wilson; two great great grandchildren, Cameron Stout and Grayson Stout.

Family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

Funeral Service will be held Friday September 12, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas with J.W. Walker and Dwain Houston officiating with burial in Bethesda cemetery Morrow, Arkansas.

Memorials may be made to the Circle of Life Hospice 901 Jones Road Springdale, Arkansas 72762 or Bethesda cemetery - 17991 Norton Road - Cane Hill, Arkansas 72717.

Mary Thelda Flynt

85, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away September 7, 2008 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born February 1, 1923 at Prairie Grove, Arkansas, the daughter of John William and Bertha Stella Wiseman Hart.

She was a member of the Little Elm Missionary Baptist Church near Farmington.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Flynt, three brothers, Doward, Victor and Everett Hart, and one sister, Leola Dees.

Survivors include three sons and daughters in law, Curtis and Diane Flynt of Clever, Missouri, J.L and Debbie Flynt of Prairie Grove, Arkansas and David Flynt and Shawn Flynt of Decatur, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, Traci, Shannan, Stephanie, Dwayne, Matthew, Cody, Amber, Christopher and Ashley and sixteen great grandchildren, Morgen, Jaret, Mikel, Justin, Cody, Austin, Rylee, Allison, Mason, Gus, Paige, Brady, Carter, Holton, and twins on the way.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at the Little Elm Missionary Baptist Church near Farmington, Arkansas with Jeff Hart and Michael McCoy officiating. Burial will be in the Farmington cemetery in Farmington, Arkansas.

Memorials may be made to the Little Elm Missionary Baptist Church 12221 Little Elm Rd Farmington, Arkansas 72730.

Pallbearers will be Michael Glover, Aaron Phillips, Claud Rutherford, Henry Rutherford, Leonard Frederick, Jerry Ashworth, James Hopkins and Mike Brown.

Minor Gordon Wallace Jr.

71, of Farmington, Arkansas, passed away August 24, 2008 at Washington Regional Hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born in Texarkana, Texas October 30, 1936 the son of Minor G. Wallace and Dessie O. Bledsoe Wallace.

He was a graduate of U of A school of Architecture. Minor served on the Prairie Grove City Council from 1981 until 1982 and was appointed Mayor in 1983 and served until 1984. He was employed by the U of A for 21 years and retired from the city of Fayetteville as the city inspector.

He loved his family and his many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Minor G. Wallace Sr. and his daughter Rayma Wallace Hamman.

He is survived by his wife, Lovena Propps Wallace of the home; one son, Minor G. Wallace III and his wife, Connie of Ft. Worth, Texas; his mother, Dessie O. Williams of Texarkana, Texas; one brother, Rodney Wallace and his wife, Terry of Texarkana, Texas; one sister, Mary O. Maddox of Texarkana, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Ashley Alvey, Ryan Hamman, Reid and Amy Slaughter, Kimberly and Hayley Wallace and one great grandchild Parker Alvey; lastly his beloved cat Teddy and dog Pooh Bear.

He will be cremated and buried next to his daughter Rayma Wallace Hamman at the Sharp cemetery in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at 6:00 P.M. at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

Judith Biazo McArdell

62 a resident of Summers, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord, September 4, 2008 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born February 19, 1946 at Clarksville, Arkansas, the daughter of Wendell “Tom” and Juanita Cowan Biazo.

Judy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was an employee of Wal-Mart in Siloam Springs.

Survivors include her husband, Charlie Joe McArdell of the home; two daughters, Shelly Smith of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Lisa Smith of Sunny Hills, Florida; two sisters, Jo Richards of Fallon, Nevada, and Jan Burdick of Riverside, California.

No visitation will be held.

Funeral Services will be held Monday September 8, 2008 - 1:00 P.M. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Springdale, Arkansas 6738 Lynchs Prairie Cv. in Har-Ber Meadows, with Bishop Jeff Patterson officiating. Burial will be in McClellan cemetery Cane Hill, Arkansas. No graveside services will be held at the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be J.D. Manken, Charlie Moore, Robin Shumaker, Myron Hamman, Paul Stinson, and Jason Bailey.

Memorials may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in care of Jeff Patterson 803 Meadow Brook Circle Siloam Springs, AR 72761.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove, Arkansas.
