Roger Dale Meadors

50 a resident of Winslow, Arkansas, passed away September 30, 2010 at his home in Winslow, Arkansas. He was born April 20, 1960 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the son of Joe and Clarine Bradley Meadors.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Roger Dale Meadors Jr. and one brother, Eddie Meadors.

Survivors include his wife Tina Meadors of the home; three sons, Wayne Meadors of Springdale, Arkansas, Hank Meadors and his wife Brandy of Winslow, Arkansas and Bailey Simmons of Farmington, Arkansas; one daughter, Amber Fillmore of Winlsow, Arkansas; three brothers, Eugene Meadors and wife Anita of Winslow, Arkansas, Fred Meadors and wife Linda of Farmington, Arkansas and Roy Meadors of Farmington, Arkansas; five sisters, Josesphine McGaugh and husband Frank of West Fork, Arkansas, Shannon Cook and husband Larry of Azel, Texas, Winnie Carmean and husband Eddie of Springdale, Arkansas, Peggy Comley of Centerton, Arkansas, Laura Price and husband Kenny of Elm Springs, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Tessa, Tucker, Issabella, Micaela and Urijah.

Family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, Arkansas

James Monroe Curtis

91 a resident of Lincoln, Arkansas, passed away June 9, 2010 at Prairie Grove Health and Rehab in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. He was born November 4, 1918 in Clarksville, Arkansas, the son of John F. and Allie Belle Brison Curtis.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dottie and two sons Bill and David Curtis; three brothers and one sister.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred Jerlene Curtis of the home. Two sons John S. Curtis of Gravette, Arkansas, and Steven Curtis of Norfolk, Virginia; One daughter Jeanne Hingle of Lincoln, Arkansas; one brother Thomas Curtis of Bentonville, Arkansas and one sister Myrtle Rudick of Yakima, Washington, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 12, 2010 - 10:00 A.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas with Jack Thompson officiating.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 P.M. at the Mt. Pleasant cemetery in Hiwasse, Arkansas.

Lynette Adale Cottrell

63, a resident of Peachtree Village, Farmington, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord May 31, 2010 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born November 7, 1946 at Prairie Grove, Arkansas, the blue eyed curly headed daughter of Dale and Elza Nellis Pierce.

Lynette attended Unity Baptist Church of Farmington. She was a retired Secretary with more than twenty years service from the Department of Human Service Finance Department State of Arkansas. She grew up enjoying portrait and landscape painting and playing piano.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Cottrell in 1976; and her mother and father.

Survivors include two sisters, Alta Jones of Farmington, Arkansas and Marjean Phillips and husband Onnie of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; one niece, Jennifer Sager and husband, Scott; one nephew, Bryan Jones and wife Stacy; two great-nieces, Kendra Sager and Delaney Jones; one great-nephew, Dillon Jones.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2010 - 10:00 A.M. at the Luginbuel Chapel Prairie Grove, Arkansas, with Dwight Gonzales officiating. Burial will be in the National cemetery Fayetteville, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Peachtree Village (55 W Rainsong - Farmington, AR 72730)

Arrangements are under the direction of the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

Dorothy Helen Coor

88, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away May 30, 2010 at her home in Prairie Grove. She was born April 5, 1922 at Viney Grove, Arkansas, the daughter of Robert "Bob" and Allie Maxwell Harred.

She was a member of the Prairie Grove Christian Church.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Coor, and one brother, Bill Harred.

Survivors include one son, Larry Coor of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; one daughter, Linda Coor-McLean of Port Charlotte, Florida; one sister, Joyce Fitzgerald of Stella, Missouri; one grandson, Robert Coor of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; two adopted grandchildren, Eric Simpson-Coor of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and John Simpson-Coor of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; one great grandchildren, Emily Ann Coor;

Funeral Service was be held Tuesday, June 1, 2010 - 10:00 A.M. at the Prairie Grove cemetery Pavilion in Prairie Grove, with Vance Eubanks officiating. Interment was in the Prairie Grove cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Childrens Hospital - P.O. Box 2222 - Little Rock, Arkansas 72202.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

Marvin E. Foster

72 a resident of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away May 21, 2010 at Washington Regional Hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born September 14, 1937 in Winslow, Arkansas, the son of Charles F. and Virginia Mae Weber Foster.

He was a member of the Farmington Church of Christ. He was president of the Garrett Creek cemetery Association, a founding board member of the Green Valley Bible Camp, a member of the Foot Hills of the Ozarks Antique Auto Club.

Marvin was preceded in death by his father, Charles Foster and one brother, Jim Foster;

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Mary Helen Pierce Foster of the home; two daughters, Diane Murray and her husband Kevin of Farmington, Arkansas and Gina Bailey and her husband Marion of Farmington, Arkansas; his mother, Virginia Foster of Farmington, Arkansas; three brothers, Dale and Wayne Foster of Farmington, Arkansas, and Charles Foster of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; three sisters, Anita Meadors of Winslow, Arkansas, Mary Sue Rice and Helen Carter both of Farmington, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Lindsey White and her husband, Justin, Rodney Bailey, Oakley Bailey, Cassie Keen and her husband, Cody, Callie Rose Murray; one great grandson, Pierson Thomas Keen.

Family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, May 25, 2010 - 10:00 A.M. at Farmington Church of Christ in Farmington, Arkansas with burial in Garrett Creek cemetery near Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

Memorials may be made to Green Valley Bible Camp P.O. Box 65 Rogers, Arkansas 72757 or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation 440 N College Fayetteville, Arkansas 72701.

Pallbearers will be: Rodney Bailey, Justin White, Cody Keen, Joe Kilpatrick, Darrell Abshier, and Bucky Nichols

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Dale Foster, Wayne Foster, Charles Foster, Marion Bailey, Kevin Murray, Donnie Rice, Eugene Meadors, and Wayne Carter.

Cecil Cleo Bowling

94 a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away September 29, 2009 at his home in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. He was born July 26, 1915 in Prairie View, Arkansas, the son of James and Telitha Rhine Bowling.

Cecil was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Prairie Grove where he previously served as an usher. He was a charter member of the Prairie Grove Lions Club. His most noteworthy achievement was the love and caring he had for all his family.

Cecil was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred, in 2001, his son and daughter in law, Ray and Cuba Bowling.

Survivors include one son and daughter in law, Jimmie and JoAnn Bowling of North Little Rock, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, David Bowling and his wife, Cynthia of Vilonia, Arkansas, Jim Bowling Jr. and his wife, Gay of Conway, Arkansas, Laura Quicksall and her husband, James of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Doug Bowling and his wife, Lisa of Moundville, Missouri, Eddie Bowling and his wife, Ginger of Tontitown, Arkansas, Gary Bowling and his wife, Christie of Bentonville, Arkansas, Traci Hartin and her husband, Chris of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; eighteen great grandchildren, Carolyn Bowling Jez and her husband, Daniel of MA, Joshua Bowling and his wife, Virginia of MA, Shana Bowling Touton and her husband, Justin of MA, Zachary and Jacob Bowling of Vilonia, Arkansas, Craig and Callie Bowling of Conway, Arkansas, Christopher Quicksall of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Candace Bowling Dyer and her husband, Joshua of Moundville, Missouri, Dennis Bowling and his wife, Wendy of Moundville, Missouri, Hayden, Gracie and Noah Bowling of Tontitown, Arkansas, Chanse and Catherine Bowling of Bentonville, Arkansas, Bradley, Mattie and Taylor Hartin of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; six great great grandchildren, Elijah and Keagan Jez, Chayton Bowling and Jonas Touton all of MA, Lucas Bowling and Tegan Dyer of Moundville, Missouri.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 2, 2009 -11:00 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church in Prairie Grove, Arkansas with Matthew Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Prairie Grove cemetery in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church 1401 East Parks Street Prairie Grove, Arkansas 72753

Pallbearers will be, David Bowling, Doug Bowling, Gary Bowling, Jim Bowling Jr., Eddie Bowling, Dennis Bowling and Chris Hartin.
