Walter Boles
Mr. Walter Boles, age 75, of Forrest City, died Friday, Aug. 25, 2000, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City.
Mr. Boles, born July 11, 1925, in Forrest City, was the son of Walter Boles Sr., and Vanilla Lockhart Boles.
He is survived by seven daughters, Azzie Humphrey of Forrest City, Carolyn Boles, Sarnder Boles, Vivian Boles, Pamela Boles, Daphnie Boles, all of St. Louis, Mo., Dashay Watson of Los Angeles, Ca.; five sons; Joseph Washington of Jacksonville, Fl., Walter Boles of Forrest City, Kevin Boles of St. Louis, Mo., Sammie Boles of Utah, Ricky Watson, of Memphis; one brother, Joe Boles of Gary, In.; 25 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 1, 2000, from 10:30 to 5 p.m., at Woodhouse Mortuary Chapel. Funeral services will be Saturday, Sept. 2, 2000, at Redeeming Christian Spiritual Church with Rev. Therother Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Casteel Cemetery under the direction of Woodhouse Mortuary.

Sylvia C. Anglin
Sylvis C. Anglin, age 52, formerly of Forrest City, died Sunday, July 30, 2000, at her home in Louisville, Ky.
She was a native of Kosciusko, Miss., and a retired teacher for the Jefferson County Public School System. She was a member of Third Central United Christian Church and the Les Amies Social Club.
She is survived by two daughters, Angela and Alisa Anglin; a son, Howard A. Anglin; a sister, Flora Fairchild; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Aug. 3, 2000, at Third Central United Christian Church in Louisville, Ky. Burial was in Green Meadows Memorial cemetery under the direction of A.D. Porter & Sons, Inc.

Umberto Di Giusto
Umberto Di Giusto, age 82, of Forrest City, died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2000, at the Cross Ridge Community Hospital in Wynne.
Mr. Di Giusto was born Dec. 14, 1917, in Treppo Grande, Italy to Enrico and Arpalice Di Giusto. He emigrated to the United States from Italy and resided in Bronx, N.Y., for many years where he worked as a tailor before retiring in Forrest City.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Del Aotto Di Giusto in 1985.
He is survived by a daughter, Lidia Wallace, of Forrest City; a sister, Mafalda Di Giusto, of Italy; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, Aug. 6, 2000, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, Aug. 7, 2000, at 10 a.m. at the St. Francis Catholic Church with Father Tom Marks officiating. Burial will follow in Forrest Park Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

George W. Moore
George W. Moore, age 57, of Forrest City, died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2000, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City.
Mr. Moore was born July 8, 1943, in Forrest City to Jessie Moore and Beatrice Carruth Moore.
He is survived by a brother, Charles Moore, of Forrest City; and a sister, LouVenia Moore, of Stockton, Calif.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Aug. 5, 2000, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Woodhouse Mortuary with Rev. Fredrick Clark officiating. Burial will be in Forrest City Cemetery under the direction of Woodhouse Mortuary.

Mary Paulman
Mary Paulman, age 73, of Wynne and Forrest City, died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2000, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Ms. Paulman was born Sept. 28, 1926, in Marianna to Dewitt Graham and Velma Dover. She was retired from Sanyo Manufacturing Corporation.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Sheila Paulman and Linda Sue Cruce.
She is survived by four sons, Jerry Bartleson, of Milwaukee, Wisc., Danny Bartleson and Billy Paulman, both of Forrest City, Paul Paulman, of Ward; a daughter, Martha Laverne Davis, of Wynne; a brother, James Kinney, of Forrest City; two sisters, Marie Andrews and Shirley Deere, both of Forrest City; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were today, Friday, Aug. 4, 2000, at Morgan Chapel. Burial was in Forrest Park Cemetery under the direction of Morgan Funeral Home.

Cassondra R. Scott
Cassondra R. Scott, age 24, of St. Louis, Mo., formerly of Aubrey, died Friday, July 28, 2000, at her home.
She was a daycare teacher at G.S.L. Day Care Center in St. Louis, Mo.
She is survived by her father, Richard Scott, of Little Rock; her mother, Ella Scott, of Aubrey; a brother, Michael Randel, of Aubrey; her grandparents, Vernell Jackson, of Aubrey, and Rosie Scott, of Little Rock.
Funeral services will be Saturday, August 5, 2000, at 2:30 p.m., at Antioch M. B. Church in Aubrey. McNeal Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Evelyn H. Venson
Evelyn H. Venson, 70, of Palestine, died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2000, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City.
Mrs. Henson was born July 1, 1930, in Palestine, to Morris and Eugen Richardson Sr. She was the widow of the late Frank Venson, and a member of Union Hill M.B. Church in Palestine.
She is survived by four sons, James Payne, of Brinkley, Kenneth Richardson, of Forrest City, Tyler Smith and Maurice Smith, both of Macon, Ga.; four daughters, Gerniece Richardson, of Macon Ga., Glenola Dixon of Forrest City, Venola Baker and Emily Monroe, both of Palestine; two brothers, Morris Richardson Jr., of Los Angeles, Calif., Samuel T. Richardson, of Battle Creek, Mich.; four sisters, Geraldine Harris, of Palestine, Dora Lee, of Minneapolis, Min., Glenora Hatcher, of Nashville, Tenn., Jessie Mae Posey, of Forrest City; 22 step-children and 25 grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, Aug. 6, 2000, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Branscumb-Johnson-Gilchrest Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, Aug. 7, 2000, at 12 p.m. at Union Hill M.B. Church in Palestine with Rev. Timothy Smith officiating. Burial will be Union Hill Cemetery under the direction of Branscumb-Johnson-Gilchrest Funeral Home.

Henry Floyd "Peck" Faulk
Henry Floyd "Peck" Faulk, age 82, of Forrest City, died Monday, Aug. 7, 2000, at his home.
Mr. Faulk was born Nov. 14, 1917, to George Washington Faulk and Bennie Stell Faulk. He was a retired restaurant owner and a special deputy for the St. Francis County Sheriff Department.
He was preceded in death by a son, William Dean Faulk in 1987.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Faulk, of Forrest City; two daughters, Donna Jean Winters, of Greenville, Miss., Barbara Ann Frier, of Lakeland, Fla.; two brothers, Johnny Faulk, of Forrest City, Everett "Tooter" Faulk, of Little Rock; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2000, at 2 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dustin Lemeke officiating. Burial will follow at Louthridge Cemetery near Colt under the direction of Morgan Funeral Home.

Climellar Green
Climellar Green, age 62, of Forrest City, died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2000, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.
Mrs. Green was born Nov. 29, 1937 in Palestine. She was retired.
She is survived by four brothers, Otis McDaniel, of Palestine, Curtis McDaniel, of Colt, Earl McDaniel and Vince McDaniel, both of Milwaukee, Wisc.; five sisters, Mae Ella Cowans and Cellar Dawson, both of Palestine, Therothia Pruitt, Cozetta Jermany and Rosetta Ross, all of Milwaukee, Wisc.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Aug. 6, 2000, at Elcannon Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Cowans officiating. Burial was in Elcannon Cemetery under the direction of Clay Funeral Home.
