WESTERVELT, Beatrice Maud Voyer, age 82, peacefully passed away Monday, January 17, 2000. Bee, born in Missoula, Montana, January 7, 1918, arrived in Tucson with her mother and two sisters in 1919, attended Santa Cruz Parish School and Tucson Public High School. She was a valued employee of John O'Dowd of Tucson Title Insurance Company and later of the Pima County Treasurer's Office. She married William Wells Westervelt on December 29, 1943. Bee is survived by her sister, Helene Squire of Tucson; seven loving children, Mary Elizabeth (Ralph) of Vancouver B.C. Canada; William Wells (Frances) Westervelt, Robert Lawrence Westervelt, Catherine Powers (Dana) Bertolini, Daniel Voyer (Susan), all of Anchorage, AK; and David Wells Westervelt, Richard James (Catherine Mae) Westervelt of Tucson, AZ. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, Bernard (Ellen) of Dupont, WA; Marcus of San Jose, CA; Richard and Gregory of Vancouver, B.C.; Lisa (Michael) of Chandler, AZ; Bernadette of Tucson, AZ; Jason, Allison, Travis, Nicholas, Elizabeth, and Vincent of Anchorage, AK. Bee was also blessed with five great-grandchildren, Gabrielle, Nicolo, and Josephine Folino of Dupont, WA; and Ashley and Kendon Holdaway of Chandler, AZ; as well as many nephews and nieces. She was dearly loved by all. Visitation will be held Monday, January 24, 2000 at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY, North Chapel, 204 S. Stone Ave, from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine's Cathedral, Tuesday, January 25, 2000 at 10:30 a.m. Father Gonzalo Villegas will celebrate the Mass with family and friends. Graveside Services will follow at Holy Hope cemetery Veterans' section. Bee loved children so, in lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate that remembrances be made in the form of Masses for the repose of her soul or to Casa de los Ninos.

WILLIAMS, Horton L., 90, beloved husband, father, grandpa, and brother, died January 22, 2000. Survived by wife of 63 1/2 years, Hermione; son, Dillard G. (Kathy) Williams of La Mirada, CA; daughter, Kay Ludeke of Tucson; grandchildren, Scott and Chad Williams, Brian and Courtney Ludeke; great-grandson, Ryan Cady; brothers, Wilson and Dillard; sisters, Mildred Johnson and Cornelia Stanley, all of TX. Horton was very active in Tombstone and was past treasurer of the Tombstone Chamber of Commerce. Horton Hall at the Helldorado set is named in his honor. He was also a lifetime member of Hassayampa Masonic Lodge in Wickenburg. The family is very thankful for the kindnesses extended by friends and caregivers during the past year. ADAMCIK, Ron, 33, beloved husband, father, son and brother, passed away January 19, 2000. Survived by wife, Debby; daughter, Casey; stepdaughter, Andrea; mother, Yoshiko Adamcik of Tucson; brothers, Ric of Washington, D.C. and Tom of Phoenix. preceded in death by his father, CWO Thomas J. Adamcik. Ron will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Memorial Service 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 28 at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5801 E. Grant Rd. Inurnment follows at East Lawn Palms cemetery.

ALLEN, Shirley Rae, 72, passed away January 23, 2000. Shirley is survived by her children, Suzanne Keckonen and Gary Keckonen (Jo Ann); her grandchildren, April Williams (Craig) and Erin Keckonen; and great-grandson, Kyle Keckonen. She is also survived by her sister, Marg Hartenstein of Louisiana. Interment to take place in Pontiac, Michigan.

BELL, Francis Clyde, 87, died January 19, 2000. Born December 16, 1912 on a farm near Ethel, MO to Frederick and Edna Bell. preceded in death by wife, Miriam, also from MO and a teacher. Funeral services were held Saturday, January 22 at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY. Interment was in East Lawn Palms cemetery.

DYM, Esther, 89, of 179 Mills Ave., and formerly of Tucson, Arizona, died January 22, 2000 in White Oak Manor-Spartanburg. A native of Warsaw, Poland, she was the wife of the late Norman Dym, and daughter of the late, Mordicai and Sarah Friedman Dym. She was retired co-owner of Dym and Son Poultry Processing in Brooklyn, NY and Toms River, NJ. She was of the Jewish faith.
Survivors include one son, Martin S. Dym of Spartanburg; two daughters, Susan Perkins of Scottsdale, Arizona, Helene Conti of Santa Monica, California; brother, Irving Dym of Montreal, Canada; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 26, 2000 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens conducted by Dr. Jeff Poelvoorde.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
The family is at the home of her son, Martin S. Dym, 179 Mills Ave., Spartanburg. Arrangements by J.F. Floyd Mortuary, Spartanburg, SC.

ECKHOLM, Wendell, 91, died on January 22, 2000 at his home in Tucson, Arizona. Wendell was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Eckholm. He is survived by a sister, Madelyn Anderson of Fullerton, CA; a daughter, Ingrid Monrad (Lawrence) of Oro Valley; two sons, Erik Eckholm (Elisabeth Rosenthal) of Beijing, People's Republic of China, and Wendell D. Eckholm (Cindi) of Whittier, CA. He is also survived by grandchildren, Christian (Bridget) and Benjamin Monrad, Cara and Andy Eckholm, Ethan and Elliot Eckholm; and a niece, Linda Miller and her son, Jonathan. The entire family shall be eternally grateful to his caregiver, Evelyn.

Wendell was born in Swea City, Iowa on May 2, 1908. His love of the outdoors prompted his choice of a graveside service. He enjoyed golf and dancing all of his life, and played golf the Monday before his death. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, the Arizona Association of Audio Visual Education, the Arizona Archaeological and Historical Society, the Elks Club, the Tucson Corral of the Westerners, the Retired Teachers Association, and the Pima Education Golf League. He was a charter member of the Y's Mens' Club. Wendell spent 43 years in the public schools of Iowa and Arizona as teacher, principal and administrator. He moved to Tucson in 1947. Wendell liked people and will be remembered by many friends in the schools as well as golfing and dancing groups. A Graveside Service with family and friends will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26th, 2000 at East Lawn cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Wendell requested donations be made to Tucson Junior Golf, c/o Tucson Conquistadors, 6450 E. Broadway, Tucson, AZ 85710. Arrangements made by Valley Funeral Home.

AUGUSTINE 'CHITIN' FEDERICO - Our beloved father passed away on January 22, 2000. He was born on February 6, 1915. He is preceded in death by his parents, Augustine and Mercedes; brothers, Marcos and Gildo; wife, Isabel 'Bessie'; sons, Heriberto and Gilberto. He is survived by five daughters, Olivia, Oralia, Otilia (Tyler) Bott, Sylvia (Tom) Montano, Cecelia (Harold) Maxwell; five sons, Filiberto, Hector (Lupe), Norberto, Humberto, Jesus; five sisters, Valentina (Rey) Diaz, Francisca Norzagaray, Lugarda (Roberto) Gutierrez, Mercedes (Alfredo) Samorano and Guadalupe Federico; 31 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 26 from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m., Rosary at 7:00 at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 27 at 10:00 at St. John's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at South Lawn cemetery.

FURRY, Melford 'Jerry' D., 72, of Tucson, died January 23, 2000. Husband of Viola K. of Tucson; father of Michael D. (Candy) Furry of Kingman, Ariz.; two grandchildren, Christopher and Patricia. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be held at Park Ave. Christian Church, Wednesday, January 26, 2000 at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements by ABBEY FUNERAL CHAPEL, 3435 N. 1st Ave., Tucson, Ariz. (888-1111).

DOROTHY GARMAN - Died December 11, 1999. Survived by husband, Clyde; son, James; six grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Friday, January 28 at Christ Presbyterian Church, 6565 E. Broadway, Friday, January 28 at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church Memorial Garden or your favorite charity.

LA MAY, Edgar P., 60, of Tucson, died January 21, 2000. Husband of Sandra J. of Tucson; father of Kelly, Melinda, Kim, Portland, Eddie, Bonnie, Lena, Sarah, Cynthia and Howard; nine grandchildren. Son of Mr. and Mrs. George La May of New York. Also survived by three brothers. Memorial services will be held at ABBEY FUNERAL CHAPEL, 3435 N. 1st Ave., Wednesday, January 26, 2000 at 2:30 p.m.

LOVEJOY, Curtiss M., 93, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away January 22, 2000. Survived by wife of forty-three years, Billie; children, John Lovejoy of Houston, TX and Betty Phelan of Tucson; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. preceded in death by devoted daughter, Bonnie Lovejoy of Chicago. A veteran of WW II, he served in the Navy as a Diving and Salvage Officer. He retired as a District Supervising Engineer after 45 years with the Chicago Board of Education. He resided with his wife in Tucson for over 20 years. Funeral Service 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 27 at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5801 E. Grant Rd., with Rev. Chuck Mull officiating. Interment will follow at East Lawn Palms cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the DAV.

LYNN, Della Winfred, 83, died Friday, January 21, 2000 in Tucson. Survived by three daughters, Frances Morton, Jeanette A. Lynn, Cornellia Lynn Murdock; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Martin E. Lynn, Sr.; one son, Martin E. Lynn Jr.; and one daughter, Ellen E. Lynn. 'GERI' SABALA, 47, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away January 23, 2000. preceded in death by mother, Betty Gerard; son, Frankie Sabala, Jr. Survived by husband, Frank Sabala, Sr.; father, Donald Gerard; daughters, Veronica and Diane Sabala and Teresa Ramirez; sisters, Lorna (Chuck) Davis and Rona (Abel) Fernandez; brothers, Donald, Ronald and Arnold Gerard. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, five step grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Abrahams was past president of the JWV Women's Auxiliary. AMBROSE, Louise W., 81, of Tucson, passed away January 22, 2000. She is survived by sons, Charles and Jim (Colleen) Ambrose; grandchildren, Kevin, Pamela, Randi, Heather and Katey, all of Tucson; sisters, Tene and Shirley of Florida; brother Bud of Alaska; nieces, nephew and a sisterin-law. She was an active member of St. Mark's Presbyterian Church, Woman's Association, Church Women United and Mountaineers. She belonged to the Pueblo Gardens Neighborhood Association. In general she lived a full and active life. She was a loving and grand mother to all. Memorial Service Saturday, January 29th, 10:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Presbyterian Church, 3809 E. 3rd St., with the Reverends Taylor, Westfall and Sholin. BALDWIN, Lucille, age 80, of Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Tucson, Arizona, passed away January 23, 2000 in Mesa, Arizona. A loving mother and grandmother and an active volunteer including Villa Maria Nursing Home, Mobile Meals and Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Baldwin and a brother and sister. Surviving relatives include sons, Daniel Baldwin of Tucson, James Baldwin of Florida and a granddaughter, Amanda Baldwin of Phoenix, Arizona. Friends may call at the ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd., from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 27th, Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 28th at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, 1800 S. ADRIAN JOSE CUEN BROCCOLETTI
Born November 1, 1999, died January 19, 2000. Adrian died at Sharp Medical Center in Chula Vista, CA because of bacterial meningitis. He was a beautiful baby loved by all who had contact with him. He will be dearly missed by all his many relatives. He is survived by his mother, Sandra Broccoletti; his father, Luis Cuen; grandmother, Antonia Cuen; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Broccoletti; great grandmother, Marie Broccoletti; aunts, Karin Myers and Pamela Broccoletti; great-aunt, Carol Erhardt; and great-uncle, James Broccoletti; cousin, Haley Plank; and many aunts, uncles and cousins in Rosarito Beach, Mexico.
The funeral will be held in Rosarito Beach, Mexico on Wednesday, January 26. The prayers of all who knew him and loved him would be greatly appreciated.
