WILDFANG, Ross C., 65, of Tucson, loving husband and devoted father, died February 19, 2000, following a brief illness. Survived by wife, Inge; daughter, Deborah; son, Corey, all of Tucson; sisters, Shirley Giilck of Waterloo, Ontario; Marion Becker of FL; Ruby (Henry) Holdenmeyer of Kitchener, Ontario; many nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law, Fred Walter of Tucson; Helmut (Millie) Walter of Denver CO. Mr. Wildfang was born June 23, 1934 in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force. In 1968 he moved to Tucson and in 1971 he opened Wildfang Business Products, Inc., which he operated through 1999. Private services arranged by EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Humane Society of Tucson, 3450 N. Kelvin Blvd., Tucson, 85716.

ALTSHULER, Constance Wynn, an Arizona historian who won several awards for her work, died in Tucson on February 11, 2000, at the age of 91. A resident of Tucson since 1948, she wrote four books and numerous journal articles on territorial and preterritorial Arizona history from 1850-1890.
Earlier in her career, Mrs. Altshuler was a newspaper reporter, a statistician and a freelance writer whose short stories were published in magazines such as the Ladies' Home Journal and Collier's from the 1930s to the 1950s. She was born in Chicago on October 4, 1908, graduated from the University of Chicago in 1929, and received a master's degree in statistics from the University of Michigan in 1939. She married Dr. Samuel S. Altshuler of Detroit in 1934.
Mrs. Altshuler received awards and commendations for her work and her assistance to fellow historians from the Arizona Historical Society in 1982, the Arizona Hall of Fame in 1987, Gov. Rose Mofford and Company B of the 8th U.S. Memorial Infantry. She was a founding member of 1980 of the Adobe Corral, a Tucson branch of the Westerners International.
Mrs. Altshuler's husband died in 1963. Her survivors include a nephew, Fred Altshuler of San Francisco, and a niece, Barbara Rose of San Jose, CA.
A memorial event will be held at the Fort Lowell Museum at 12:00 noon Sunday, March 12.

CAMPBELL, Darwin Eugene, 73 of Tucson, died February 21, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Thelma L. Campbell of Tucson; sons, Darwin E. 'Butch' Campbell of Memphis, TN, Douglas O. Campbell of Tacoma, WA; daughters, Glenis E. 'Beth' Campbell of Angleton, TX, Dianne L. (Tom) Lindberg of Buckley, WA; grandchildren, Kelley Armstrong, Sabrina Waller, Tim Smith, Don, Brooke, Clinton, Jalynn, and Alexandra Campbell; great-grandchildren, Caleb and Cassandra Waller and Gage Grant; and mother, Babe Gilliam. He was a member of B.P.O.E., Sabbar Shrine, V.F.W., and a U.S. Navy WWII veteran. Memorial Service, Thursday, February 24, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. at B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge, 615 S. Pantano Rd. Memorial contributions may be made to Elks Crippled Children's Fund or Sabbar Children's Transportation Fund. Arrangements by EVERGREEN MORTUARY & cemetery.

HELEN B. DUPERRE, 97, died February 19, 2000 in Tucson, Arizona. She was born in Nashua, NH on October 2, 1902. Survived by her son, Joseph and his wife, Rosanna; a sister, Mary Jane Ledoux of Mesa; several grand- and great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of Francois and Anna Boucher. She moved to Tucson in 1970 to live with her only son, Joseph, the year after the loss of her husband, Edward. During her early years in Tucson, she worked for Cox's Bakery and did volunteer work for Family Services at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. Rosary will be recited6:00 p.m., Thursday, February 24, 2000 at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL. Mass will be offered 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 25, 2000 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1800 N. Camino Pio Decimo. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 24, 2000 at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.

BARRY TAYLOR FRASER, age 59, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2000. He was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in January of 1995. He fought a valiant battle, never letting his cancer get the best of his sense of humor.
He was born in Poughkeepsie, New York, June 24, 1940 and moved to Tucson in 1951. Barry was a member of the Boy Scouts for several years attaining the rank of Eagle Scout. He graduated from Sunnyside High School in 1959. After four years in the Navy he started work for Mountain States Telephone and Telegraph and retired from AT&T in 1990 after 25 years of service. His favorite hobby was photography. He enjoyed exploring and photographing the mountains, caves and deserts of Arizona. He was a volunteer with Southern Arizona Rescue Association and a member of Southern Arizona Old Time Fiddlers Association.
Barry is survived by Judy, his wife of 35 years; daughter, Veronica Degeest (Les); and granddaughter, Sabrina, age 2, all of Millsap, Texas; son, Michael (Brandi); grandson, Branden, 5, and Trenton, 5 months, all of Tucson; a brother, Lynn Fraser (Marty); sons, Lee and Terry, all of Bend, Oregon; and cousin, Carol Forman (Ed), of Mt. Vision, NY. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Alma Fraser, also of Tucson.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, February 26, 11:00 a.m. at 2403 S. Mission Rd. The family has requested that in lieuof flowers, donations be made to the International Myeloma Foundation Cancer Research, 2120 Stanley Hills Drive, Los Angeles, CA, 90046. Contributions should be designated in memory of Barry Fraser.

GARCIA, Ramon Duarte, age 48, a 35 year resident of Tucson, passed away February 18, 2000. Born January 29, 1952 in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico. Survived by the mother of his children, Mariana Garcia; daughters, Rosa (Jesus) Olguin and Aide (Jerry) Tapia; sons, Ramon (Helena) Garcia Jr., Francisco (Monica) Garcia and Carlos Garcia; 9 grandchildren; and 3 sisters. A visitation will be held today from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at South Lawn Mortuary, 5401 S. Park Ave. Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2000 at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY. Rev. Jason Thuerauf, of Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church officiating. Burial will follow at South Lawn cemetery. 'Daddy you left us, but you'll always be remembered'.

HIGH, James O. 'ELDER', age 64, of Tucson, AZ passed away February 20, 2000. He is survived by wife, Ammie L. High of Tucson; eight children; twenty-nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Elder High, was Pastor of the Upper Room, Church of God in Christ, in Tucson. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 25, 2000 at Mount Olive, Church of God in Christ, 403 E. Lee Street. Funeral Services following at 11:00 a.m. with Elder Rayford Strong officiating. Burial will follow at South Lawn cemetery. JAMES C. HAYNIE went to be with the Lord on February 21, 2000. James was born in Anniston, Alabama on August 4, 1920. He attended Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Alabama and was a resident of Tucson since 1964. He did missionary work in Mexico and was very active in his church throughout his life. James is survived by his wife of 50 years, Joyce Haynie; son, David A. (Bonnie) Haynie; daughters, Danice (Ron) Rivers, Donna Horan, and Deana Bumgartner (Rick); 14 grandchildren, David, Jennifer, Rachel, James, Daniel, Michael, Michele, Andrea, Alisha, Krystal, William, Robert, Ben, and Karina; and two great-grandchildren, Destiny and Scott. A Graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, February 25, 2000 at South Lawn cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to HEATHER MORTUARY. In lieu of flowers make donations to the Cancer Society.

KELMAR K. KANNIER, 87, of Tucson. Retired employee of ASARCO Silverbell, went to be with the LORD on February 20, 2000. He is survived by daughters, Kalene (Larry) Wood and Genevieve Parker, all of Tucson; son, Kenny (Rcilia) Kannier of Nevada; seven grand- children; two great-granddaughters; brother of Naomi Einsel of CA. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Alene, and his second wife, Maxine. Kelmar's celebration of Life will be held Friday, February 25, 2000 at 11:00 a.m. at the Flowing Wells Assembly of God Church, 3198 N. Flowing Wells Rd., with Rev. Maynard Weisbrod. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the Church. Burial to follow in Evergreen cemetery. In lieu of flowers, assist an elderly person with an act of kindness. MESSINGER, Gertrude S., 90, died February 21, 2000. Mother of Lenore Rappaport and Sue Vision; grandmother of Jody Stachowiak, Julie Evans, Robert Rappaport, Pamela Vision and Todd Vision; 8 great-grandchildren also survive; sister of Rose Goldstein of FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Messinger. She was a Tucson resident for 38 years. Graveside service 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 24, 2000 at Evergreen cemetery with Rabbi David P. Finks officiating. In lieu of flowers the family suggest a donation to the charity of your choice. Arrangements by BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.

WHITE, Earl Delap, 90, of Tucson, AZ, died Monday, February 21, 2000. preceded in death by wife, Mabel; and daughter, Edith. Survived by son, Morris (Lucky) of Washington State; daughters, Dallas (Ed) and Lila (Jim) of Arizona. A resident and active church and community statesman of Mammoth, AZ. He retired from Pinal County and moved to Catalina, AZ in 1974. He was a faithful man of God, a good husband and father. He was a role model for all who knew him. He leaves 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and five great-great-grand- children. The family wishes to thank the staff and friends who cared for him at Mt View Care Center. RONALD LEROY ANDERSON, 69, died February 21, 2000. Ronald was the owner of Chapperal Heating and Air Conditioning since 1971. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Anderson; son, John M. Anderson; daughter, Judy (Steve) Mikitish; granddaughters, Michelle and Jeni; and three brothers. Services will be held at a later date at Hillside cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota. ASHER, Deborah Ann, 46, died February 20, 2000. Mother of Jeremy Mayes of Tempe, AZ and Scott Mayes of Yuma, AZ; daughter of Ed Lentz of Tucson, AZ; sister of Donna Braunberger of Kennewick, WA and Diane Lentz of Tucson, AZ. She was a beautiful, loving mother and was a strong and devoted Christian. She taught preschool at Casas Adobes Baptist Church. DENKER, Eva June, age 69 of Tucson passed away February 22, 2000. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Clyde; son, Staton Denker of Sierra Vista, AZ; daughter, Janet (Kurt) Johnson of Las Vegas, NV; son, Bryan (Redda) Denker of Tucson; daughter, Anita (David) Finnell of Tucson; grandchildren, Jennifer, Camden, Erin, Brandon, Matthew, Jacob, Mark, and Adam. A memorial service will be held Friday, February 25 at 10:00 a.m. in the Faith Lutheran Church, 3925 E. 5th with Reverend Brian Dill conducting services. FEAK, Mattie, age 86, a 40 year resident of Tucson, passed away February 19, 2000 in Parkersburg, W. Virginia. Born July 29, 1913 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Survived by her sons, Norman Swanbeck and Ray (Gerri) Swanbeck; two granddaughters; one grandson; one step-granddaughter; two step-grandsons; one great-grandson; and 3 great-granddaughters. A visitation will be held today from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at South Lawn Mortuary, 5401 S. Park Avenue. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 25, 2000 at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY. Rev. Paul Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at South Lawn cemetery.

Darwin W. Neubauer was born in Highland, IL, and passed away February 22, 2000 in Tucson. He will long be remembered by his wife, Jinna; son, Bill (Jean) Neubauer; daughters, Susi (Jones) Osborn and Jan Neubauer. Memories will be held by grandchildren, Billy (Heather) and Jonathan Neubauer, Adrienne and Barclay Osborn and Alan and Abby Brooks plus many friends.
Darwin and Jinna recently celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary.
Dr. Neubauer graduated from Washington University of St. Louis and was Valedictorian from the Washington University Medical School. He had his Surgical Training at the Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. He participated in WWII as a flight surgeon in the European theater and in North Africa.
He moved the family to Tucson in 1948. For over 30 years he was a surgeon par excellence. He was a primary builder of Tucson Medical Center into an acute care center. He specialized in the management of cancer and introduced many new techniques into the medical community, such as arterial fusion directly into tumors with a continuous pump. He was known not only for his surgical technique and judgement, but for kindness, compassion and integrity. He held many positions including Chief of Staff at TMC, President of the Pima County Medical Society, and editor of Arizona Medicine.
He was active with the American Cancer Society serving as its President in Tucson. He was Chairman of the medical aspects of civil defense for Tucson in the 1950's. He received Community Service Award from the Arizona Medical Association (one given annually.)
After his retirement, he enjoyed wood carving and golf. He loved time with his family and friends, both in Tucson and Pinetop.
He will be missed by many. We celebrate the time we had with him. We love you Dad.
Services will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2000 at 1:30 p.m. in St. Mark's Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to TMC Hospice or the Boys and Girls Clubs of Tucson. Arrangements by EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY.

PICKER, Mildred R., 83, of Tucson, passed away February 22, 2000. She is survived by husband of 62 years, Harold F. Picker. Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral service. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 25, 2000 at HUDGEL'S SWAN FUNERAL HOME, 22nd & Swan. Interment will follow at Evergreen cemetery.

TURNER, Gretel Susan, age 60, passed away February 10, 2000 after a brief illness. Born in Rochester Minnesota, she followed her parents to Tucson in the 70's when her father, Dr. Arthur F. Turner, a renowned scientist, became Professor Emeritus of The School of Optical Sciences at the University of Arizona. preceded in death by her father and mother. Survived by her brother, Rudolph Turner of Bloomington, Indiana.
Susan's Life was both characterized and enriched by her love for animals, particularly dogs and cats, many of whom she owned at her death. For a period of time she operated a Kennel known as Catlyn Shelties and was active in organizations such as Old Pueblo Dog Training Club, Inc. and Friends of Animals.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 25, 2000 at 11:00 a.m., EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. Grant Rd., with Reverend Les Plattner officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Old Pueblo Dog Training Club, Inc.
