Reba Wallace
Reba Wallace, a Golden Valley resident, died Thursday, April 12, 2001, in Kingman. She was 64.
Mrs. Wallace was born Feb. 11, 1937, in Kingman. She worked as a dental assistant for Bryan Carlson D.M.D., for six years until her retirement in 2001. She was a member of Red Lake Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and was a volunteer ombudsman for the Western Area Council of Governments.
Mrs. Wallace is survived by: her husband Noel Wallace of Kingman; five sons, Darrell Schall of Cottonwood, Nowell Wallace of Bullhead City, Brian Wallace of Colville, Wash., Jason Wallace of Long Beach, Calif., and David Wallace of Gulfport, Miss.; her mother Martha Sumners of Kingman; 11 grandchildren; and two cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2001, at Kingman Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 4335 N. Stardust Road. Sutton Crematory will handle cremation.

Marie Mullinax Walker
Marie Mullinax Walker died Thursday, April 12, 2001, in Kingman. She was 79.
Mrs. Walker was born Feb. 20, 1922, in Westville, Okla. She moved to Kingman 30 years ago from California. She worked as a waitress and a bookkeeper.
Mrs. Walker is survived by: one son, Marion D. Givens of Kingman; two grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
No services are planned. Sutton Crematory will handle cremation.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Clairce 'Chris' Markham
Clarice "Chris" Markham died Sunday, April 15, 2001, in Kingman. She was 73.
Mrs. Markham was born May 15, 1927', in Heiner, Utah. She moved to Kingman a year and a half ago from Salt Lake City, Utah. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Markham is survived by: her husband Earl Markham of Kingman; three daughters, Earlene Woolslayer of Salt Lake City, Utah, Debra Markham of Mesa, and Catherine Sharples of Kingman; two sons, Norman Markham of Utah and Donald Markham of Salt Lake City, Utah; four granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren.
No services are planned. Sutton Crematory will handle cremation.
Memorial donations may be made to Kingman Regional Medical Center.

Alma Mable Rick
Alma Mable Rick died Saturday, October 23, 1999 in Kingman. She was 75.
Mrs. Rick was born on June 10, 1924 in Berrian Springs, Mich.
She moved to Kingman ten years ago from Calimesa, Calif. She worked for a glass plant in Walnut, Calif.
Mrs. Rick is survived by: husband Ernest Rick of Kingman; three sons, Michael Rick of Redlands, Calif., Steven Rick of Kingman and John Rick of kingman; daughters Rita Johnson of Fontana, Calif.; four grandsons; and two granddaughters.
Services were private. Cremation was handled by Sutton Crematory.

Gregory James Howell
Gregory James Howell, a Kingman resident, died Monday, October 25, 1999 in Parker. He was 48.
Mr. Howell was born on September 23, 1951 in Marion, N.C. He worked in maintenance for La Senita Elementary School and had worked at Duval Mine. He was a member of First Southern Baptist Church and a member of the Elks Lodge.
Mr. Howell is survived by: his parents, J.D. and Margaret Howell, of Kingman; brother Jeff Howell; grandparents Herbert and Estelle Howell; and one niece.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 30, 1999 at First Southern Baptist Church on Hualapai Mountain Road. Cremation will be handled by Sutton Crematory.

Joshua Paul Couch
Joshua Paul Couch died Saturday, October 23, 1999 in Kingman. He was 21.
Mr. Couch was born on Nov. 12, 1977 in Apple Valley, Calif. He moved to Kingman 14 years ago from San Bernardino, Calif.
Mr. Couch worked as a journeyman electrician. He was a member of the IBEW electrical workers union and a member of the First Assembly of God church.
Mr. Couch is survived by: parents Marty and JoAnn Couch of Kingman; two sisters, Theresa Couch of Kingman and Crystal Reiners of Hasting, Neb.; grandparents Keith and Catherine Lewis of Adelanto, Calif.; one niece; two uncles and two aunts.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 29, 1999 at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside servicesf at Mountain View Cemetery will follow at noon.

Verl Ray Miller
Verl Ray Miller, a Dolan Springs resident, died Friday, October 22, 1999. He was 92.
Mr. Miller was born on Dec. 22, 1906 in Allendale, Mo.
Mr. Miller served in the U.S. Army from 1937 until 1945. shortly after his discharged he attended Chefs de Cuisine Culinary School of California and became a life member. In the early 1950s he was the first chef hired by the University of California, Los Angeles. Mr. Miller and his wife Judy operated several restaurants in Kingman and Meadview including the Ranch Club. A longtime resident of Dolan Springs, Mr. Miller was a charter member of the American Legion No. 88 and VFW No. 9833. He joined the International Chili Society in 1984. In 1986 he was the eldest active member of the club.
Mr. Miller is survived by: two brothers, Vollie Miller of Longview, Wash., and Coin Miller of Dolan Springs; sister Velma Whittington of Bell Calif.; two stepsons, Edward Magness of Las Vegas, Nev., and James Magness of Cape Coral, Fla.; four nephews; three nieces; and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy.

Donald M. Davis
Donald M. Davis died Wednesday, October 27, 1999 in Kingman. He was 78.
Mr. Davis was born on June 1, 1921 in Dodgeville, Wisc.
Mr. Davis served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was the past commander and member of American Legion Post 14. He was also a member of VFW 3516 and past Chef de Gare of Voiture Locale 439 40/8. He had been employed as a sales representative for the Nackard Beverage Company.
Mr. Davis is survived by: three sons, Paul Davis of Milton, Wisc., Terry Davis of Gages Lake, Ill., and Steven Davis of Des Plaines, Ill.; two sisters, LaVon Johnson of Mt. Prospect, Ill., and Elaine Stults of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Davis.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 1999 at the American Legion Post 14.

Gladys Opal Manship
Gladys Opal Manship died Sunday, October 24, 1999 in Kingman. She was 92.
Mrs. Manship was born March 9, 1907 in Fresno, Calif. She came to Kingman from Williams 70 years ago. She was a teacher. Mrs. Manship was a member of the Kingman Teachers' Association and the local Retired Teachers' Association. She taught school in Mohave County for 25 years. Her classrooms ranged from one-room schools in Hackberry, Mineral Park and Wickieup and fourth and fifth grades at Palo Christi School in Kingman.
She marriage Kingman native Claude Manship in 1938 and worked in the Manship family's business, the Kingman Chocolate Shoppe, on Fourth St. before she began her teaching career.
Mrs. Manship is survived by: her husband, Claude R. Manship of Kingman; one son, David R. Manship of Groveland, Calif.; one brother, Carey L. Williams of Kingman; one grandson; and one niece.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 28, 1999 at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 1999 at the same location. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Shawna Marie Bales
Shawna Marie Bales, a lifelong Kingman resident, died Friday, October 22, 1999 in Kingman. She was 22.
Miss Bales was born May 30, 1977 in Kingman. She was a homemaker.
Miss Bales is survived by: two sons: Skyler Lloyd Farnsworth and Jacob Dakatah Farnsworth; father Shuyler Bales of Ardmore, Okla.; grandmother Pearl Sullivan; and several aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her mother, Cheryl Phillips.
No services were announced. Cremation will be handled by Sutton Crematory.
