ROBERT, Shirley Jean, 54, of Tucson, died Friday, March 22, 1996. Survivors include son, Bryan Stephen (Susanne) of Littleton, CO; parents, Dorothy Jean and George P. Marsolek, Tucson; brother, George Duane (Pamela) Marsolek, Sterling, WV; granddaughter, Christina Sarah; aunt, Helen G. Buscombe, Tucson; and other beloved aunts and uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by son, Kevin Lynn Robert. Memorial Service will be at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 25, 1996. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Diabetes Association. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway).

SINEMA, Holly Ann, 19, of Huntsville, TX, died March 19, 1996. She is survived by fiance, Horace Tisdale; twin daughters, Britney Faye and Bridgett Laurene Sinema-Tisdale; parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, and numerous other family and friends. Friends may call at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, March 24, 1996. Funeral Services will be held at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 939 W. Chapala Dr., with Bishop Albert Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at the LDS Cemetery.

STAUFFER, Charlotte W., 67, died March 20, 1996. Survived by daughter, Karen (Jim) Thurman of CA; and son, John (Sharon) Stauffer of HI; sister, Elizabeth (George) Von Erden of NY; brother, Walter (Joyce) of WI. Memorial Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 25, 1996 at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5801 E. Grant Rd. Inurnment will be at a later date at East Lawn Palms Mausoleum.

STEBBINS, Annie, 88, of Tucson, died March 20, 1996. In loving memory, survived by her daughter, Nancy Tyson of Tucson; her son, Peter Stebbins; and daughter-in-law, Ellen Walker Stebbins of Hollis, NH; granddaughters, Karin Stebbins Lloyd of Malden, MA; brother, Robert Wallin of Boston, MA; several nieces and nephews and many friends. She was raised in Hyde Park, MA and resided in Melrose, MA for 60 years before moving to Tucson in 1993. She was predeceased by her husband, Everett Stebbins. While living in Melrose she worked at the local hospital and volunteered much of her time to several youth organizations, church activities, the Red Cross, and the Senior Citizen Transportation Program. A Memorial Service will be held at Casas Adobes Congregational Church, 6801 N. Oracle on Monday, March 25, 1996 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Red Cross or a favorite charity. Arrangements by BRING’S MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 236 S. Scott.

EGGMAN, Ima U., 86, of Tucson, passed away March 22, 1996. Survived by sons, Marshall C. Eggman, Concord, CA, Robert K. (Vanzaline) Eggman of Tucson; daughter, Joan (Jack) Hopkins of Tucson; nine grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren. Predeceased by husband, Pat E. Eggman on July 23, 1994. Memorial Services Tuesday 1:00 p.m. EVERGREEN MORTUARY. Interment Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements by EVERGREEN MORTUARY and CEMETERY, N. Oracle and W. Miracle Mile.

McINTIRE, Gary E., 46, of Tucson, crossed into the light March 23, 1996. Survived by wife, Sandra; father and mother, Elmer and Barbara Mettam; daughter, Sandra (Jeff) Gillispie all of Tucson; sons, Donald Hofferber and Edward McIntire of Roosevelt, AZ; daughter, Paula (Frank) Rodriguez of Mammoth; sister, Charlotte (John) Oliver; brothers, Russell (Teri) Mettam and Randy (Lori) Mettam all of Tucson, Gregory (Tini) Mettam of Kingman; seven grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many friends. Gary was an inspiration to all of us in his battle with A.L.S. (Lou Gehrigs Disease). Graveside Service Tuesday, 2:00 p.m. Evergreen Cemetery. Memorials may be made to M.D.A. SANDERS, Marcella L., 70, of Tucson. Died March 23, 1996. Survived by husband, Bill; children, Linda M. (Mark W., Jr.) Grant of Tucson, Karen (Bill) Boudreaux of Tucson, Gary (Bonnie) Ackley of Douglas, Roger (Sonja) York of Catalina, Sherry (Ronnie) Austin of Millington, TN; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sisters, Gladys (Bob) Sonner of OH, Geniva (Tom) Robinson of OH, Violet Karnes of OH; brother, Manford Wilson of OH. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5801 E. Grant Rd. where funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will follow in East Lawn Palms Cemetery.

ULSH, Joseph E. Jr., 74, died March 9, 1996. He was a quality control supervisor. Mr. Ulsh was born March 28, 1921 in Newport, PA to his parents Joseph and Sarah Kapp Ulsh Sr. He married his wife of 47 years, Mildred Brice Ulsh in 1948 and moved to Fort Worth in 1950. He worked a number of years with General Dynamics and retired in 1973 from Hughes Aircraft in Tucson. After retirement he resided in Lipan in Galveston before making his home in Tucson for the past three years. He was preceded in death by his wife Mildred in 1990. He is survived by his daughters, Bonnie (Donald) Steinman of TX and Pamela (Robert) Henrichsen of PA; brother, Dick Ulsh of PA; five grandchildren; and one great granddaughter; and friend, Linda Wolff of Tucson; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial Service 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 27 at Emanuel Presbyterian Church, 9252 E. 22nd St. Interment took place in Ft. Worth, TX. Arrangements by BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.

WILLIAMS, Ruth “Mickey’, 83, of Tucson, died March 22, 1996 at home surrounded by her family. Mickey spent many years as a Sacrastine for All Saints Church and the Cathedral. She also was a housekeeper for St. Monicas, Sts. Peter and Paul, and Kino House. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill. Survived by son, Bob (Rosemary) Williams; grandchildren, Bill of Portland, OR, Angela and Dave McGuire of Mexico City; Lisa and Scott Woods of Sacramento, CA and Pamela, Theresa and David of Tucson; sisters, Mary Shafstell of IL, Dorothy Peterson of IA and Betty Saunders of CA; brother, Bob Hout of Tucson. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday with Rosary at 7:30 p.m. at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY, 5401 S. Park Ave. Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, 1800 S. Kolb Rd. Burial will follow in South Lawn Cemetery.

YSLAVA, David R. “Pudgy’, 18, of Tucson, passed away March 22, 1996. Survived by fiance, Jennifer Pena; parents, David and Linda Yslava; grandparents, Reyes and Lydia Palomarez; sisters, Cynthia Aros, Catrina Yslava; brother, Johnny Sanchez. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 1996 from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at TUCSON MORTUARY, (South Chapel), 240 S. Stone Ave., with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered on Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. Santa Cruz. Arrangements by TUCSON MORTUARY, INC.

BORTONE, Thomas V., 48, of Tucson, died March 24, 1996. He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil A. Bortone. He is survived by mother, Catherine T. Bortone of Wayland, MA; brother, Richard Bortone of Woodbridge, VA; several aunts, uncles and many cousins. He was a loving friend of many. A gathering of family and friends will take place Wednesday, March 27, 1996 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, 2545 N. Tucson Blvd., (one block North of Grant). Services and interment will be held in Massachusetts. Memorials in Tom’s name may be made to the charity of your choice. Directed by VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, 327-6341.

COOPER, Carol Mackey, 60, of Tucson, died March 22, 1996. Survived by husband, Jack Cooper; son, Allan Cooper; daughters, Sara O’Flaherty (Vince) and Laure Sanders; and grandchildren, Courtney and Sydney Heath, Margaret O’Flaherty, David, Robbie and Lisa Sanders. Mrs. Cooper was a member of the Trinity Presbyterian Church and Hughes Wives Club. Services will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church, March 26, 1996 at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Jack Baca officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Cleburne, TX. Donations may be made to American Cancer Society or Trinity Presbyterian Church. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave. at Magee.

GOLDMAN, Rose O. (Jerri), age 84, died March 16, 1996, at her home in Tucson Estates where she lived since 1968. A graduate of William and Mary, Mrs. Goldman was a member of the first women’s class of the New York City Police Department and served with the force until her retirement. Before her illness, she was a long time docent at the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum, was a member of the Audubon Society, and for many years was a Tucson Adult Literacy Volunteer, teaching English as a second language. She was inveterate reader, an enthusiastic birder, and traveled extensively. She is survived by Maxine Heiman and Lucy Copestake, friends of many years. She will be cremated and her ashes scattered. There will be no memorial service. Arrangements by HEATHER MORTUARY.

GOODWIN, Mary Anderson, 78, a resident of Tucson since 1937, died March 24, 1996. Survived by son, Eugene Goodwin; daughters, Phyllis Linson and Rosemary St. Aubin; sisters, Frances Ostanock of Youngstown, OH and Lucy Salars of Silver City, NM; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, LeRoy A. Goodwin. She was a charter member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, as well as a volunteer for Casa de Los Ninos, Meals on Wheels and Department of Corrections Youth Services. She drove a school bus for the Marana School District and worked in the cafeteria for both the Marana and Amphitheater School Districts. Viewing will be held at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 1431 W. Magee, Tuesday, March 27th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Funeral Service, Wednesday, March 28th 1:00 p.m. with reception following. Graveside 3:00 p.m. South Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Marks’ United Methodist Memorial Garden.Her love and faith lives on in her family and friends.

KEELER, Larry D., 56, died March 23, 1996. Survived by his daughters, Dawn M. Murrell and Audra L. Keeler; son, Timothy J. Keeler, all of Mesa; grandson, Travis Murrell; half-brother, John Keeler of OH. Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 27 at BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway, with Rev. Harry M. Rohwer Jr. officiating. Interment to take place in Sylvania, OH. Arrangements by BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.

McMAHON, Harry J., age 80, of Tucson, AZ, passed away at his home March 19, 1996. He was a former resident of Toledo and vice president of the former Billy Baker Trucking Co. Also vice president of John Edwards Inc. In Arizona he was officer and board member of T.A.R.H. for 35 years. Also a board member of the Pima Alano Club in Tucson, AZ. He is survived by his son, Michael (Utz) McMahon; grandchildren, Robert, Daniel and Michael; nephews, Harvey, Mark, Dr. Kim and Peter Wayson; three nieces, Ann Locher, Amy Wayson and Barbara Wyman. Graveside Services will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. in the St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lowell, MI. Arrangements by the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St., Sylvania, OH. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, April 11, 1996 at Noon at the Pima Alano Club, Tucson, AZ.

McMANAMA, Perry J., 69, died March 23, 1996. Survived by his wife, Geraldine McManama; four daughters; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; his mother and one sister also survive. In lieu of flowers, contributions to be made to the Perry J. McManama Memorial Fund, c/o 22nd St. Baptist Church. Funeral Service 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 28th at 22nd St. Baptist Church, 6620 E. 22nd St. with Pastor David Houchin officiating. Friends may call from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 22 at BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.

POORMAN, Edgar Robert “Bob’, 68, of Tucson, died March 23 1996. Preceded in death by first wife, Marion Francis, mother of his three children. Survivors include son, Robert Fleming (Lisa); daughters, Kari Shaw (Brett) and Susan Poorman; eight loving grandchildren. Friends may call at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 1996. Funeral Service will be at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway), 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 28, 1996. Burial will follow at East Lawn.

WOODS, Matthew Paul, age 19, of Tucson, AZ passed away peacefully at home on March 22, 1996. His 13-year battle with a brain tumor was an inspiration to all who knew him. He is survived by his mother, Peggy Woods; father, Loren (Teri) Woods; brother, Daniel Woods; grandpa, Ray Himes; and half-brother, Jerry Woods, all of Tucson. Also survived by his grandpa, Meade (Jackie) Woods of Sierra Vista, AZ; grandma, Catherine Woods of Victorville, CA; half-sister, Laura (Josh) Young of Portland, OR; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandma, Violet Himes. Matthew was a student in the Amphitheater High School Special Education Program and worked in the Amphi High School Cafeteria. He will always be remembered for his bubbly personality, his love for all living things and his radiant smile. His family would like to thank the faculty and staff of Amphitheater High School for all of their support, the doctors of Western Neurosurgery for giving Matt as many quality years as possible, and the staffs of El Dorado Hospital/Rehab Unit and Carondelet St. Mary’s Hospital for their loving care and support. There are no services planned but contributions in Matt’s memory may be made to the Tucson Humane Society. Cremation arrangements by WOLFREY PEACE CHAPEL.

YOACHUM, James A., 41, died unexpectedly at St. Joseph’s Hospital on March 24, 1996. He is survived by his loves, Denise and Poncho; his father, Herb; brother, Gary; sisters, June, Donna and Rita. Preceded in death by his mother, Helen and brother, Chuck. Services will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 1996 at 10:00 a.m. at BRING’S MEMORIAL CHAPEL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Lung Cancer Research, 323-1812.
