CAMPOS, Luis Antino, 15 years old died, May 27, 1996 in Tucson. Survived by his parents, Luis and Anna Campos; grandparents, Luis R. Campos and Rebecca G. Campos, Carmen Sanchez; great grandmother, Ainta Vega; two brothers, Jesse Carrera, Matthew Campos; three sisters, Yndia M. Campos, Natalia M. Sanchez and Austrialia M. Sanchez White; girlfriend, Analisa Moreno. Mass for Luis will be said at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 31, 1996 at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church, 801 N. Grande Ave, where friends may call from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Burial will be at Holy Hope Cemetery. Arrangements are handled by WOLFREY PEACE CHAPEL, 881-0338.

CHABOT, Richard John, 41, passed away May 26, 1996. Survived by wife, Donna; parents, Bob and Gloria Chabot; brothers, Jon, David, Dan (Linda), and Rob; sister, Susan (Lowell). Richard was a special agent with the US Department of Justice in Dallas, TX. Services and burial will be in Colleyville, TX on Friday, May 31, 1996.

DANBY, Jason Abdella, born March 30, 1967 in Santa Monica, CA, passed away May 26, 1996. In loving memory of a wonderful son, brother, and friend. He will be missed by all who he touched. Survived by a large loving family and his many friends and acquaintances. Memorial Services will be held at Catalina United Methodist Church, Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to any organization of your choice.

DEUBERT, Walter F., 72, passed away Monday, May 27, 1996 after a struggle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Rita; son, Frederick (Veronica) Deubert; daughters, Geraldine (Ed) Gryczkowski, Lorraine (Mark) Halberg, all of Tucson. Daughter, Louise (Paul) Calabrese of NY. He leaves 11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Also survived by extended family, Sara (Todd) Clifton of NC, Tara Burge and David Swaim, Lana (Greg) Meell, of Phoenix, Mark (Wendi) Stamps of Tucson. Also five grandchildren and one expected. He was preceded in death by wife, Margaret (Margie) J. Deubert, March 1985. No funeral will be held at Walt’s request. Arrangements by Desert Rose Cremation and Burial. Memorial Services to be announced at a later date. Remembrances may be made to VA Hospice, TMC Hospice, Rolling Hills Golf Course Memorial Fund or UMC Cancer Research Center.

GARVEY, Lorraine Francis, born September 10, 1911, died May 8, 1996. Survived by daughter, Roberta Rusk of Tucson; brother, Jack (Janis) Wilske of Yakima, WA; granddaughters, Linda Hitchens of Scottsdale, AZ, Candice (Greg) Nieman of Freeport, IL; grandson, James (Kay) Colehour of Mount Carroll, IL; four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Lorraine was preceded in death by one granddaughter Georgia Colehour and brother Asa Colehour. Lorraine was born in New Richmond, WI and spent her childhood in various small towns in northern WI where her father made a living as a pharmacist. In 1929 Lorraine moved to Chicago, IL where she met and married Warren Garvey. After they divorced she started a long career working for the City of Chicago under the regime of Mayor Richard Daly until she retired to Tucson in 1979. In Tucson, Lorraine became involved in the Irish American Gaelic Society and served in many official capacities for the organization. She hosted the first Irish Hour on KXCI radio for over a year. Her sense of humor, wit, and love of life served her well and will be missed by her family and friends. She was the “Fountain of Youth.’ Memorial Services will be held June 1, 1996 at 2:00 p.m. in the VALLEY FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 2545 N. Tucson Blvd., (one block North of Grant). A gathering of family and friends will take place immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to TMC Hospice. Arrangements by VALLEY FUNERAL hOME, 327-6341.

GILLOCK, Michael Lee, 31 years old, died Monday, May 27, 1996 in Tucson. Survived by his wife, Margaret Gillock of Tucson; two daughters, Stephanie Gillock and Tabitha Gillock, both at home; two brothers, Allen J. Strand and Richard A. Gillock, both of WY; one sister, Sharyon A. Thomas of Tucson; parents, Donna K. and David L. Gillock of Vail, AZ and John V. Strand of Tucson, AZ; grandparents, Lawrence A. Macklin of Tucson and Barney H. and Louzetta Gillock of Thatcher. Memorial Services for Mr. Gillock will be held Friday, May 31, 1996 at 10:00 a.m. at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Vail Ward, 1655 S. Melpomene Way. Arrangements handled by WOLFREY PEACE CHAPEL, 881-0338.

GRAY, Gracie Lee, 84, of Tucson, died May 26, 1996. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold. She is survived by children, William H. Gray of Three Rivers, TX, Fred A. Gray of Tucson; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brothers, Rush Locke, Joyce Locke, both of Odessa, TX, Jack Locke of De Leon, TX; sister, Levis Miller of De Leon, TX. Service and Interment will be held in De Leon, TX. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Directed by VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, 2545 N. Tucson Blvd., 327-6341.

LUSTIG, Donna M., 68, died May 27, 1996. Survived by her husband, Robert Lustig; son, Ron Van Alstine of AZ; sister, Jeanette Vannatta of TX; two grandchildren, Ronnie and Nichelle; several nieces and nephews; and great grandchildren also survive. Memorial Service 4:30 p.m. Saturday, June 1st at Lakeside Congregation Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witness, 8311 E. Stella Rd. with Donald Lowe officiating. Arrangements by BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.

MOLLENKAMP, William L., 62, of Tucson, passed away May 23, 1996. He is survived by his brother, August L. (Catherine E.) Mollenkamp, Jr., of MI; nephews, David (Becky), Brian (Lisa) of MI, Keith Mollenkamp of Chicago, Kent (Jackie) Mollenkamp of WI; niece, Janet (David) Wagner of MI; 12 grand nieces and nephews, Katie, Tyler, Brandon, Andrea, Jordan, Evan, Molly, Amy, Charles, Jennifer, Zachary, Stephanie. Born in Missouri, Bill was a recent resident of the Cascades in Tucson and has lived in the Southwest for the past 20 years. Bill retired in 1982 after a lifelong employment with the US Army Audit. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, card playing and dining with his friends. Bill will be missed by his many friends and family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name to Christ Community Church, 7801 E. Kenyon Dr., Tucson, 85710. No services are planned. Arrangements by BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. PLATT, Clinton J., 81, of Tucson, died May 29, 1996. Survivors include: wife, Faye of Tucson; daughters, Betty Platt of Washington, DC and Bonnie (Ken) Easterly of Chandler, AZ. Mr. Platt has been a resident of Tucson for the past 45 years moving here from North Dakota and was a member of Pima Lodge #3 IOOF. Friends may call at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway), from 10:00 a.m. until Service Time Friday, May 31, 1996. Funeral Services will be at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 31, 1996 with Pima Lodge #3 IOOF officiating. Interment will follow at East Lawn Palms Cemetery. ROBBINS, Jose’ Luis, died May 25, 1996 in Tucson. Born April 30, 1974 in Tucson and spent several years overseas in Peru and the Philippines. Jose’ attended Harelson Grade School, Cross Junior High and Canyon Del Oro High School. Survived by his mother, Margaret Robbins; father, Alan Robbins; brother, Michael; great grandmother, Margaret Hodgson; great aunts, Jo, Jackie, Fran; and great uncles, William and Paul; uncles, David Robbins and family, Howard Hodgson and Edward Robbins. He was a member of Troop 211 of the Catalina Council of the BSA, a recipient of the Eagle Scout award, 1992, and a lifelong outdoorsman. He seemed always unafraid, but who amongst us doesn’t forget that we, all of us, lie about our fears? Memorial Services will be held Saturday, June 1, 1996, 9:00 a.m. Christ the King Episcopal Church, 2800 W. Ina Rd. Interment Holy Hope Cemetery following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Troop 211, Boy Scouts of America, 1270 W. Ghost Pl. Tucson 85737 or community charities. Arrangements by EVERGREEN MORTUARY and CEMETERY.

ROBERTSON, G. Duncan (Dunc), Dr. MD. FACS, born April 6, 1928, in Princeton, NJ, died May 18, 1996 in Alexandria, LA. He was a graduate of Princeton University, and of the Harvard School of Medicine. He served his internship and residency at Barnes Hospital, St. Louis, MO. Duncan arrived in Tucson in 1958 where he was Chief of Surgery at the County Hospital. He then opened a private surgical practice, as well as worked as the County Physician. During that time, he was also the Team Doctor for the Marana High School Football Team, and was a long standing member of the Optimist Club. Duncan left his private practice to join the Medical Department at the University of Arizona where he was Professor of Surgery. In 1975, Duncan moved to Globe, AZ where he worked as Chief Surgeon for the Miami Inspirational Hospital. After Globe, Duncan moved to Louisiana where he was Professor of Surgery at Tulane Medical School, and was also Medical Director at Huey P. Long Medical Center at the time of his retirement. He was a member of the Rapides Medical Association and an avid member of FOTAZ (Friends of the Alexandria Zoo), both in Alexandria, LA. His happiest moments were spent flying his “pride and joy’; his Beech Debonair. He was a longtime member of the AOPA (Aircraft Owner’s Pilot Association), and various flying organizations including QB (Quite Birdman). Besides flying, his other loves were his surgery, dogs, potbelly pig, several pet raccoons, and the many motherless raccoons he and Joyce raised until they were able to be re-released back into the wild. Duncan is survived by his wife, Mrs. Joyce Robertson of Pineville, LA; a son, Duncan Robertson of Tucson; two daughters, Lyn Graham (Daryl) of Albuquerque, NM, and Angela Odea (Rick) of Tucson; one sister, Mariette Fay (Peter) of Sierra Madre, CA; two grandchildren, Duncan Robertson Odea and Alyssa Lyn Odea of Tucson; one step grandchild, Richard Joseph Odea IV; and two stepsons, Larry Garcia and Ben Garcia. He is also survived by Susan P. Robertson (mother of Duncan, Lyn and Angela) and Terry C. Robertson (mother of Larry and Ben). In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Friends of the Alexandria Zoo, P.O. Box 6015, Alexandria, LA 71307.

SEELEY, Barbara, 82, of Tucson, died May 28, 1996. She is survived by daughters, Diane (Dr. Robert J.) Reilly, Tucson, Joan Seibold, Tucson and Sandra (Marvin) Longwater of Savannah, GA; 10 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Services will be at Grace Chapel, 6180 E. Pima on Friday, May 31, 1996 at 11:30 a.m. Graveside Services will be at 1:00 p.m. at East Lawn Palms Cemetery. Arrangements by HEATHER MORTUARY.

TODD, George W., 80, of Tucson, died May 29, 1996. Mr. Todd was born in Beaver, PA and moved to Tucson in 1955 and taught at Wakefield Junior High School. Survived by wife, Dorothy “Pat’; daughters, Barbara (John) Wnek of Tucson and Carol (Richard) Wetzel of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Donna (Michael) Davie of Tucson, Jay (Dawn) Canalia of Tucson, Todd Elembaugh of Albuquerque and Beth Elembaugh of Albuquerque; great grandsons, Christopher and Jayson Canalia of Tucson; brother, John (Isabelle) Todd of FL; sister, Betty Hamilton of PA; step great grandchildren, Amanda and Matt Stephens of Tucson. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. Grant Rd. where funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday. Burial will follow in East Lawn Palms Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in George’s name to St. Mary’s Hospice, 1802 W. St. Mary’s Rd. Tucson 85745.

WISSEN, Jack W. Sr., 74, died May 27, 1996. Survived by his wife, Lillian L. Wissen; son, Jack W. Wissen, Jr.; grandchild, Scott Wissen, all of Tucson; sisters, Alma Jones and Mary Graves, both of IL. Memorial Service 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 31st at BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, with Joseph Kelly officiating. Arrangements by BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.

WITHEY, Eileen M. Byrnes, 76, of Tucson, achieved her wings on Monday, June 3, 1996 after a valiant fight against cancer. Eileen was born in Waterbury, CT on June 12, 1919. She attended Mount St. Vincent Academy through two years of college. During World War II, Eileen traveled to California to work as a blueprint artist in the Civil Service. She returned home to Waterbury where she became a news reporter and society editor for the Waterbury Herald. She married Maurice P. Withey on August 30, 1947, who preceded her in death. Eileen moved to Tucson for the health of her children for the first time in 1960, and again, permanently, in 1962. In Tucson, she was actively involved in the Democratic Party and in market research. Eileen was a masterful landscape artist and talented writer, but she is better known for her optimism and courage. The source of her courage was her spiritual strength. All who knew her were touched by her cheerful nature in spite of her illnesses. Her concern was for the problems of others rather than her own plight. Eileen is survived by her daughter, Maureen Denise and son-in-law, Michael McDaniel, and their two children, Monica Kathleen and Mark Thomas of Eden Prairie, MN. She is missed by her son, Thomas Francis Withey of Los Angeles, CA who prolonged her life for four years by escorting her to Mexico for treatments. She is remembered daily by her youngest daughter, Dr. Kathleen Anne Bethel; son-in-law, William; and her granddaughter, Elizabeth Anne Baker of Tucson. An Irish Memorial Wake was held in her memory at her residence on Wednesday, June 6, for all of her kind friends and family. In lieu of flowers, which she said, “I’ll never be able to see, ’ Eileen asked that friends send something to an elderly loved one that is living alone. Arrangements by HEATHER MORTUARY.

BLACKWELL-MOSLEY, Dortha E. “Go-Go’, 38, of Tucson, AZ, died on May 27, 1996. Survived by parents, Jimmy C. and Dortha M. Blackwell of Sahuarita, AZ. She was a loving mother and grandmother to son, Alex; daughters, Olivia (Ray) Juvera, Gwendolywn and Tasha; granddaughters, Rajah and Bethany Juvera, all of Tucson, AZ. She is also survived by brother, David E. (Terri) Blackwell; sisters, Jaye C. Blackwell, Darla A. (James) Young; and grandmother, Dortha F. Baldwin; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. As a caregiver, Go-Go operated an elderly care home in Tucson. Arrangements pending by Desert Rose Cremation and Burial in Tucson. Go-Go was a victim of domestic violence for many years, and it was also what ended her very short life. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her….forever.

BUCHHAUSER, Betty M., 73, of Tucson, died May 23, 1996. Memorial Services will be at St. Phillips in the Hills Episcopal Church, River Rd. and Campbell, 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 31, 1996 with Fr. Paul Buckwalter officiating. Memorial donations may be made to St. Phillips in the Hills. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway).

CUPPE, Donald O., 74, of Tucson, passed away May 25, 1996. Survived by his wife of 54 years, Lillian H. Cuppe; and their children, Donald L. and his wife Suzanne and their children, Donald Hurley Cuppe and Wendy Suzanne Cuppe; Nancy Sullivan and her husband Robert and their son Bobby and her children Kimberly Lake and her husband David and their children, Madeline, Ariel, Alex and Amanda; Lorin Sutton and his children Ashley and Brittany; Steven Sutton and Tamie Sutton. Donald was born in Benson, AZ, served in the Army Air Corp in WWII and retired from US WEST in June, 1976 after 30 years of service. Private services were held on May 28, 1996 for the immediate family.
