EBNER, Peggy Ann, 59, of Tucson, died January 16, 1997. She is the cherished wife of Don Ebner; loving mother of Eugene Brian Ebner adn Melisa Booker; beloved daughter of Thelma Brinker; beloved sister of Marianne Sieben. Mrs. Ebner was a longtime Music Minister at Northside Christian Church, retiring in 1994. Memorial Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, 1997 at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5801 E. Grant Rd., with Pastor Harry M. Rohwer Jr.officiating. Private family burial will be at East Lawn Palms Cemetery.

ENGLEMAN, Godfred (Scotty), 77, of Tucson, died January 16, 1997. Husband of Delphine E. of Tucson; father of Randy, Terry, Steve, Christine and Kevin Engleman all of NE, Tami Hargadon, Lisa Engleman both of Tucson, Harold Harriman, Steve Jaques both of NE, Brad Jaques of FL. Preceded in death by son, Edward and daughter, Tina Engleman; many grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; brother of Stella Miles, OH, Jerry Engleman and Nick Pappas both of NE, Paul Pappas of CA. EZELL, Ragan, of Tucson. Ragan was born November 4, 1996 and died January 14, 1997. Survived by parents, Stephen Ezell and Davina Salese; sisters, Jessica and Crystal; grandmother, Thelma Ezell; great-grandparents, Anita and Jesus Alvarez. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon till 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 18, at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. Grant Rd. Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at East Lawn Palms Cemetery. For the short time Ragan was with us, she was a ray of sunshine. We will miss her smiles.Donations may be sent to the SIDS Alliance, 1314 Bedford Ave. #210, Baltimore, MD 21208.

GREENE, Sylvia J., beloved mother, teacher and friend, departed this earth January 14, 1997 at 69 years young. Sylvia leaves behind a daughter, Stephanie Greene-Hunley (LaMonte); two sons, Douglas Charles Greene (Charda), Christopher Michael Greene; five grandchildren; a brother, L.Edward Bock; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who will each miss her dearly. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 18 at Christ Church United Methodist, 655 N. Craycroft, Tucson, AZ, at 1:00 in the afternoon. In lieu of flowers, donations for a scholarship fundbeing founded in Sylvia’s name are being accepted by Montclair High School, 100 Chestnut Street, Montclair, NJ 07042. GUILLE, Constance, E., 82, daughter on Zion and Victoria Blackwood died January 14, 1997, at the Forum in Tucson, AZ, She was born in Blountsville, AL, May 3, 1914. Constance graduated from Jacksonville State College then taught secondary mathematics and science in Clarence, AL, andl ater moved to New York City, to manage the New York office of Merle Norman Cosmetics located in Rockefeller Center. In November 1954 she married Peter Guille, first Director of the Clark Art Institute in Williamstown, MA. Constance was very active in civic organizations during her time in Williamstown. She and her husband retired in 1965 in Centerport, NY. She subsequently lived in Scottsdale, AZ, Santa Barbara, CA, and has resided in Tucson, AZ, for nearly two decades. Private service were held. Local Arrangement by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway).

HEIMANN, Theodore V. 'Ted', 75, died January 14, 1997. Survived by wife, Doris E. Heimann; children, Robert (Tessie), John, Daniel, Kenneth, Mark, Frank (Laura) and Karen Heimann; two sisters and four brothers, 10 grandchildren. Ted was a member of the American Legion Post 36, VFW Post #549 and the Disabled American Veterans. Friends may call Friday, January 17, 1997 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. Grant Rd. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 18, 1997 at St. Francis De Sales Church, 1375 S. Camino Seco. Burial to follow at East Lawn Palms Cemetery.

JONES, Mildred, 88, of Tucson, died January 15, 1997. Preceded in death by her husband, V.L. 'Casey' Jones. She is survived by sister, Genevieve Whitlock of Tucson and niece, Cathy Rowlette of Tucson and nephew, Dick Whitlock from Berkeley, CA; and many other nieces and nephews. Friends may call at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, Saturday, January 18, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Funeral Services will be at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, Saturday, January 18 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. JUNE, Pamela Sue, 42, of Tucson, died January 14, 1997. Survived by husband, John June; daughter, Amanda June; parents, John and Maxine Weaver; brother, Chuck Weaver of Tucson; sister, Carolyn Afanasiev of CA. She was born in Barberton, OH October 13, 1954 and graduate of Marshall University College of Nursing, Huntington, WV. She worked as a registered nurse at various Tucson hospitals. A loving person who will be missed by family and friends.

KAEMLEIN, Wilma, 87, died January 3, 1997 in San Diego, CA. Survived by niece, Carol (John) Frederickson, nephew, Mike (Shirley) Fehner, three grandnieces and a grandnephew, all of CA. Wilma lived a full life, traveled extensively and had many friends. She earned her RN early and served with the U.S. Army in the Pacific from Jan. 1942 to Oct. 1945 where she was awarded the Bronze Star; then returned to the University of Michigan for a MA in Anthropology, and worked two summers at the U of A Point of Pines Field School. Wilma spent her 1965 sabbatical in Europe researching southwestern collections in museums, and retired from the U of A State Museum in 1975. She also spent a year with the VISTA sickle cell anemia program in Okla., chaired the Tucson Festival Society’s San Xavier Fiesta for several years, and was active in the S.A. Hiking Club, Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, the Nature Conservancy, Western Museums Assoc., Ariz. Arch. & Hist. Soc., Red Cross Blood Bank, and the United Nations Assoc. Contributions to your favorite charity may be made in her memory. Memorial services are pending.

LAIRD, Victor M., 95, died January 16, 1997. Memorial Service, 12:30 p.m. Sunday, January 19, 1997 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 400 E. University, with Pastor Jack W. Baca officiating. Arrangements by BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.

LEE, Forrest 'Tim', 36, died January 12, 1997. Survivors include: wife, Barbara of Tucson; son by a previous marriage, Timothy Joseph Lee of Tucson; mother, Carole J. Lee of Tucson; sister, Tara (Jack) Cox of Tucson; brother, Tyre (Rachelle) Lee of Tucson; grandparents, Charles and Lillian Wood of Boulder City, NV; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. MALLERY, Bruce Allen, 91, died January 15, 1997 in Sarasota, FL. Mr. Mallery was born May 15, 1905 in Erie, PA. He is survived by nieces, Faith Higby, Albuquerque, NM, Eleanor Bisgrove, East Northport, NY, Kay James, Englewood, FL, Elaine Stroebel, Sherman, NY; nephew, Ronald Mallery, Quakertown, PA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred. She passed away June 6, 1990. Mr. Mallery lived in Tucson, Arizona, from 1945 to 1991 and has lived in FL since that time. He was a retired service station operator in Tucson. He was a member and head usher of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church for 44 years. He was also a member of the Arizona Preceptory DeMolay Legion of Honor, Scottish Rite, Lodge Council Chapter Consistory, Valley of Erie, Mount Olive Commandery No. 30, Knights Templar, Erie PA, Tyrian Lodge No. 362, F & A.M., Erie, PA. Funeral Services will be held at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, 1949 E. Helen St., Monday, 5:00 p.m. Friends may view from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Church. Interment will be at South Lawn Cemetery. Local arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. (at Speedway).

NIKRASCH, Mary, 86, died January 15, 1997. Survived by two sons and two daughters. Arrangements by BRING’S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.

REYNOLDS, Dorothy F., 83, a resident of Tucson, died January 14, 1997. Survived by her husband of 65 years, John; daughter, Frances (Bonifacio) Cosyleon of Pueblo, CO; son, Samuel J. (Barbara) Reynolds of Tega Cay, SC; grandchildren, Michael, Amy, Anna, Gabriel and Eva; brothers, Marion (Esther) Hill of Colorado Springs, CO, Gordon (Ethel) Hill of Hisperia, CA and Lee (Frances) Quein of Tucson. Mrs. Reynolds was preceded in death by brother, Milton Hill. Memorial Service, 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 20 at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, 4520 W. Ajo Way, with Rev. Jeffery Greene officiating. ROSEMAN, Evelyn Slavin, of Tucson, died January 15, 1997. She is survived by daughter Donna (Bruce) Beyer; and granddaughters, Lisa and Amy Beyer, all of Tucson, AZ; brothers Max and Manuel Slavin, of Cleveland, OH; and numerous other family and friends. She was preceded in death by husband Lew J. Molden in 1965, and husband Frank H. Roseman 1987. She was also preceded in death by sister, Pauline Slavin; and brothers Louis and William Slavin. SPANGLER, Reuben B., Jr., 80, of Tucson, Arizona, died Saturday, January 11, 1997 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tucson. He was born in Barnesboro, Pennsylvania, September 29, 1916, the son of Reuben B. and Anna Jepson Spangler. On October 26, 1946 in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, he married Mary Catherine Walker, who survives in Tucson. He is also survived by a son, Robert Drew Spangler; a daughter, Cynthia Anne (Robert) Spangler-Padilla; two grandsons, Robert Spangler Padilla and Walker Alan Padilla, all of Tucson. Also surviving are two sisters, Virginia Spangler (Reginald) Wood of Syracuse, N.Y. and Lovell Spangler Frear of Leesburg, Virginia and a brother, James L. Spangler of Tucson. Mr. Spangler was a graduate of Bellefonte High School in the Class of 1939. He attended Catawba College in Salisbury, North Carolina. During WWII he served with the Military Police of the U.S. Army in the Persian Gulf Command. Mr. Spangler was retired as President of Arizona Neon Advertising, Inc. which he and his brother established in 1946 in Tucson. The firm was subsequently sold in 1985. He was a long time member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, a life member of the Sertoma International Club, a life member of B.P.O.E #385, served on the board of the Beacon Foundation, all of Tucson. Memorial Service 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 17 at BRING’S MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 236 S. Scott, with Rev. Dale E. Hewitt officiating. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Carondelet Hospice Services, 350 N. Wilmot, Tucson, AZ 85711-2678.

VAUGHT, Paris Edgar, 80, of Tucson, died Thursday, January 16, 1997. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Dorothy; children, Betty (George) Blakeman, Larry (Angel) Vaught, all of Tucson; sister, Helen Ellis; brother, Charles (Helen) Vaught, both of Bedford, IN; step-brother, Elbert (Bea) Enochs of Pittsboro, IN; five grandsons and one great-granddaughter. Mr. Vaught was a member of Teamster’s Union Local #104 in Tucson. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21, 1997 at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY CHAPEL, 5801 E. Grant Rd., with Pastor Tim Coop of Pantano Christian Church officiating. Interment will follow at East Lawn Palms Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary, one hour prior to the service. ZAHN, Irene M., 74, of Tucson, died January 3, 1997. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Jessa Fazel; son, Frederick Zahn; granddaughter, Krystel; and seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Lillian Moore; and brother, Harold (Florence) Gilster also survive. Memorial Services will be on Saturday, January 18, 1997 at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church, 5601 E. Broadway. Arrangements by HEATHER MORTUARY.

BAGENSTOS, Leland Keith, Sr. born October 29, 1910, died January 14, 1997. Father of 10; grandfather of 16; great-grandfather of nine. Lee was a good friend to many, known as 'Puff' by his closest friends. His tenacious nature and ability to 'live' life endeared him to all of us. He taught us important life lessons including love and caring for each other that will help fill the void his absence leaves. Graveside Services on Friday, January 17, 1997, 11:15 a.m. at Our Lady of The Desert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity. Arrangements by HEATHER MORTUARY.
