BUCK, Jo Lynn, 40, died May 7, 1998. Arrangements by BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.

Mary Anne Descoteaux, loving wife of Mike Webb, went 'home to Jesus' May 7, 1998. Mary is also survived by loving daughters, Shannon (Carter) Knowles of Kirkland, WA, Shelly Webb and Kelly Webb of Tucson; loving sister, Janet (Paul) Ohlendorf; and nephew, Todd Ohlendorf of Scottsdale; and many loving members of her extended family. Mary came to know Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in 1978. She is a good and faithful servant of our Lord and will live in his glory forever. Her one wish in life was for the Lord to use her to show His everlasting love for His flock. Mary was born at St. Mary's Hospital in Tucson on May 2, 1955 and graduated from St. Joseph's Parochial School (1969), Rincon High School (1973) and the University of Arizona (1977). Mary was Vice President and Controller of Sundt Corp. She was a Certified Public Accountant and a member of A.I.C.P.A. and a past President of Executive Women International, Tucson Chapter. Mary fought a short but gallant fight with cancer and in the end, due to His love, she won the battle. Mary, we will Love and Miss You until we can join you to live forever in the glory of our Lord. A memorial service will be held at Christ Community Church, 7801 E. Kenyon Dr., Monday, May 11, 1998 at 2:00 p.m. Those who knew and loved Mary are invited to attend our celebration of Mary's 'going home to Jesus'. In lieu of flowers, donations may be to the American Cancer Society.

PV1 STEVEN M. FINK, 18, of Oro Valley, died Wednesday, May 6, 1998 in a one-car accident near Sonoita, AZ. Steven completed Army Basic Infantry Training at Ft. Knox, KY on May 1, 1998 and was scheduled to report to his new assignment at Ft. Hood, TX on May 13, 1998. Steven is survived by his father and step-mother, Wayne and Diana Fink of Oro Valley, AZ; brother, Michael (Donna) of Highland, CA; sister, Susan (Louie) DeCarlo of San Francisco, CA; three step-sisters, Angela (Jeff) Hutchins of Mankato, MN, Annette (Trent) Whitcomb, and Ann (Jeff) Leland, all of Rochester, MN; paternal grandparents, Willard H. and M. Charlotte Fink of San Diego, CA; maternal grandmother, Mildred Harris of Savannah, GA; aunts and uncles; cousins; three nieces and a nephew; and many friends. Steven was preceded in death by his mother, Rebecca in 1988. Graveside services and burial will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Savannah, GA.

HILL, Charles Jerome, 84, died May 6, 1998 at the Desert Samaritan Care Center in Mesa. Mr. Hill was born in Robinson, Illinois on June 30, 1913, the son of Charles B. Hill and Marie Olsen Hill. Following his father's death in 1921, Mr. Hill moved with his mother and sisters, Helen and Ruth to Chicago, where he graduated from Austin High School. He studied chemical engineering at the University of Illinois and served as an infantry officer of the 89th Division in the European Theater in World War 2, earning a Silver Star and Purple Heart in actions in Germany. Mr. Hill married Ardith Rose MacNames on May 2, 1942. Following WW2, he and Mrs. Hill operated a water conditioning business in Belvidere, Illinois and moved to Tucson from Illinois in 1963, where Mr. Hill was employed by the United States Postal Service. He and Mrs. Hill remained in Tucson until 1994, when they joined their daughters, Jeremie Hill Grey and Jane Marie Hill Clevenger in Mesa. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, two daughters and a host of friends, neighbors, and relatives who loved him. Mr. Hill was a life-long Presbyterian and member of Celebration of Life Presbyterian Church, 2530 S. Alma School Road in Mesa. A gathering for family and friends will be held at the family home, 2017 W. Lobo Circle, Mesa on Friday evening, May 8 at 7:30. A Service of Witness to the Resurrection will be conducted in his memory at 1:30 on Saturday, May 9 at Celebration of Life Church. He will be buried among family members in Belvidere, Illinois. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Salvation Army for the relief of those in need. Arrangements by Lakeshore Mortuary, (602) 838-5639.

LYNCH, Rose A. (Fodor), 83, of Tucson, AZ, died Wednesday, May 6, 1998. She was a homemaker. She is survived by brother, Louis Fodor; daughters, Barbara (Kevin) Pierce and Patricia (Mark) Gibson; grandchildren, Harry (Karen) Brannon, Michael Brannon, Alyssa Gibson and Elizabeth (Al) Santasiere all of Tucson and Joseph Brannon of Phoenix, AZ; great-grandchildren, Sean Brannon, Amanda and Samantha Santasiere and Lauren Brannon of Tucson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph F. and son, Gerard J. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, May 11, 1998 at St. Odilia Catholic Church, 7570 N. Paseo Del Norte. Burial will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. Arrangements by family owned ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave. (at Magee).

ROMERO, Gilbert Federico, 62, of Tucson, passed away May 7, 1998. Preceded in death by wife, Helen Tellez Romero. Survived by mother, Maria F. Romero; sisters, Cecilia Figueroa, Mary (Joe) Ornelia, Lupe (Hector) Yanez and Emelina (Frank) Bravo; brother, Rudy Romero. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 11, 1998 at 9:00 a.m. at Santa Cruz Church with Rosary recited at 10:00 a.m. Mass will be offered Monday, May 11, 1998 at 10:30 a.m. at Santa Cruz Church. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. Arrangements by CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY. Mr. Romero was a Korean War Veteran having served in the US Marine Corps. Also survived by many beloved nephews, nieces and friends.

WHITE, Donna Lynn, 37, died May 7, 1998. She is survived by her son, Thomas J. Dillon Jr.; daughter, Melinda S. Dillon; father, Jack Schmidt Sr. and his wife, Fran; one brother, John (Patricia) Schmidt Jr. and one nephew, J.T. Schmidt III. Friends may call 3:00 p.m. until service at 5:00 p.m. Monday, May 11, 1998 at EAST LAWN PALMS CHAPEL, 5801 E. Grant Road. Private Entombment will be at East Lawn Palms Mausoleum.

BUFFALO, Mary E., 80, of Tucson, died May 10, 1998. Preceded in death by husband, Andy T. Buffalo. She is survived by sons, Conrad (Priscilla) Buffalo and Joe (Margaret) Buffalo. Mary is also survived by five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church. Interment Evergreen Cemetery. ELLIOTT, Dorothy L, 79 yrs old, of Scottsdale, AZ, died Friday, May 8, 1998 in Tucson. Born on June 8, 1918, in Milwaukee, WI. Survived by her daughter, Gayle (Guy) Venner of Tucson; brother, Elmer Winter of San Jose, CA. Mass will be said at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, at St. Thomas The Apostle, 5150 N. Valley View, Tucson. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee, WI. Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, at WOLFREY PEACE CHAPEL, 5225 E. Speedway, where vigil services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday.

HARKINS, Linda Mary, 47, of Tucson, died Friday, May 8, 1998, in Phoenix. She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Darrell Harkins; children, Duane Michael Clemens, Christine Michelle Clemens; brother, Julian Zebrowski, Jr.; and mother-in-law, Helen Harkins. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Wednesday, May 8, 1998, at HEATHER MORTUARY, 1040 N. Columbus Blvd. Friends may call at the Chapel one hour prior to the service.

JARRETT, Katherine Elizabeth, born June 2, 1916, to Jordan and Lizzie Setzer in Catawba, NC, passed away May 8, 1998, in Tucson. Predeceased by loving husband of 52 years, Ralph H. Jarrett. Survived by daughter, Kay Accordino, of Tucson; Beth (Lafayette) Barr of Scottsdale; Jennifer of New York City; Celia (Dale) Halstead of Tucson; Janice (Robin Williams) of Tucson; many grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. Katherine moved to Tucson in 1956 and was active and successful in real estate for many years. She was known for her ethics, dignity, and sense of humor, and leaves behind her many loyal friends and a loving family. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 11, 1998, at EAST LAWN PALMS CHAPEL, 5801 E. Grant Rd. Burial to follow in East Lawn Palms Cemetery.

KLELL, Frank Alex, 86, of Tucson, AZ, died May 5, 1998. Son Frank Albert Klell and daughter, Rita Zappone; grandsons, Michael, Martyn and Mark Klell; granddaughter, Michele Zappone and great-grandson, Kevin Klell survive him. Frank worked on production of the Norton Bomb Site before volunteering for service in WWII. He served on the U.S.S. Preston as a chief-petty-officer in the engine room. The ship was involved in many naval operations including Iwo Jima, Okinawa and the occupation of Japan. Frank also served on the U.S.S. Bradford in the Korean War. After military service he worked for 22 years for B.F. Goodrich Tire Company as a Temperature Control Engineer. His love of fishing, sports, landscaping, generosity and wit will be dearly missed. Private services for immediate family will be held at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave. (at Magee) and East Lawn Cemetery.

LA BOUNTY, Maria Martha, age 73, of Tucson, AZ, died May 6, 1998. She is survived by daughter, Monica (John) Frustace, Fairfax, VA; granddaughters, Audrey, Patricia and Jackie Frustace and Teri (Martin) Dunphy. PALM, William D., 74, of Tucson, died May 10, 1998. Husband of Rose S. of Tucson, father of William (Karen) Palm of Tucson, Frank (Martha) Palm of Waleska, GA, Fred (Kathy) Palm of Brighton, MI, and Arthur Palm of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Brian, Lisa, Chris, Brooke, and Justin; brother of Gilbert Palm and Doris McCracken of PA. PARK, Georgia, 78, of Tucson, a former hospital administrator and homemaker, passed away on May 8, 1998. Mrs. Park is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles W. Park, M.D.; daughters, Carol Park (Danny) Thompson of Arkansas City, KS, Cynthia Lynn (Patrick Rickards) Park of Tucson; grandchildren, Jeff Park Wood, age 15, and Jessica Park Wood, age 12, both of Arkansas City, Alexandra Park Rickards, age 9, and Charles Ian Park Rickards, age 6, both of Tucson; predeceased by her son, Charles Wilbur Park on December 20, 1986. Service Tuesday, 11:00 a.m., EVERGREEN MORTUARY, N. Oracle & W. Miracle Mile. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in the name of Georgia B. THORNE, Luzana Patricia (Billie), 74, passed away May 9, 1998. Survived by daughter, Linda (Darrell) Berno of Tucson; son, Alan (Dottie) Thorne, of Fairmont, W. VA.; granddaughters, Joanne (Marc) Thompson of North Pole, AK; Tina Hawkins of Tucson, Crystal (Rick) Palmer of Tucson; great-granddaughter, Ariel Hawkins of Tucson; sister, Eileen Rector of Pismo Beach, CA; nephew, Joe Butler of Fort Collins, CO; honorary granddaughter, Michelle Adams and honorary great-grandchildren, Scott and Lauren Adams; dear friend, Geisla Gibson of Tucson; and many beloved family members in Centerville, TX. ASTORGA, Sandy L., age 38, a lifetime resident of Tucson, passed away May 9, 1998. Dearly departed mother, sister and daughter. DAVIES, Thomas, 89, of Tucson, died Friday, May 8, 1998. Beloved husband of Mildred (married 63 years); devoted father of Robert (Elizabeth) Davies and grandparent of Gretchen Bailey, R. Blaze Davies and great-grandchildren, Adriana Bailey, Ted Bailey, Kyle Davies, Rowan Davies. Mr.Davies, a former high school chemistry teacher, has resided in Tucson for 12 years. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II and was a member of a Masonic Lodge in Pennsylvania. Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by HEATHER MORTUARY.

DAVIS, Robert Don, 63, of Tucson, died Sunday, May 10, 1998. He is survived by his wife, Paula Sue; children, Joan (Rich) Duncan, Laurie (Gary) Dunham, Richard (Theresa) Davis, Susan Davis and their mother, Carol Davis; grandchildren, Andrea, Meghan, Cassie, Dusty, Juliana, Cody, Tyler and sisters, Betty (Bill) Foley, Joyce (Gary) Watkins. Mr. Davis has been a life long resident of Tucson, he retired from the Southern Pacific Railroad and was a member of the North Tucson Lions Club. GARCIA, Juana, age 82, of Tucson, passed away May 11, 1998. She is survived by her children, Rosa Garcia, Sergio Marin (Elva) and Francisca Rivera (Saul); her stepchildren, Agustin Marin and Maria Luisa Amaya (Gilberto); 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, May 14, 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. LANE, Mr. Lyle A. Lane of Tucson, Arizona, passed away on May 6, 1998. He was born on May 29, 1915 and is survived by his wife, Dorothy Lane and son, Leonard Lane both of Tucson. Lyle retired from Hughes Aircraft and had spent his retirement years caring for his family and pursuing his passion for bowling. He will be greatly missed.

Bienvenido Z. Luganob, my best friend, companion and partner, died May 9, 1998. I thank God for the privilege He has given me in having spent more than half my life with Benny. He will be missed by all those who were lucky enough to have known him, but especially by his two daughters, Holly and Marceline and by me, his wife, Marjorie. A Mass celebrating Benny's life will be held at St. Pius Church, 7:00 p.m. May 14th. A special thanks to the students and staff of st. Joseph School for their prayers and To St. Joseph Carondelet Hospice for their compassionate help.

MOFFETT, Ruth M., 90, died May 9, 1998. Survived by brother, Ralph (Shirley) Morgan of Tucson, AZ; nephews, Timothy Morgan, Thomas Morgan both of MI and Parham Morgan of Tucson; niece, Kathleen Cosby of MI. Mrs. Moffett was preceded in death by husband, William Moffett; parents, John P. and Uffa Jane Morgan; brother, Royal L. Morgan and niece, Ruth Jean Morgan. Mrs Morgan received her teachers license from Indiana State University. She became a RN working at Chicago Hospital, received a BS Degree in Public Heath Nursing at Peabody College, headed Nurses Training at Kentucky Baptist Hospital. She was a member of Desert Gardens Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Memorial Services and Interment will be in Kalamazoo, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Desert Gardens Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 10851 E. Old Spanish Trail, Tucson, AZ 85748. Arrangements by BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.
