It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Ronald Munro on Thursday, July 19th, 2001 after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. Ron was co-ordinator/professor of the Human Resources program at Durham College and University Centre for over 25 years, associate professor at York and Central Michigan Universities, active member of the Human Resources Association of Ontario and an international management consultant. Loving husband of Dr. Carolin Rekar; dear father of Susan (Duncan), Lisa and Celeste; and proud grandfather of little Dawson, Brother of Bart (Hillary), Violet (Carl) Waters and June (Bob) McPhee. Beloved son of the late Bert and Violet (nee Murphy). IRWIN, June (Petley)
Aged 79 years. Died at home with her family about her on Wednesday, July 18th, 2001. A devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, served a mission after retirement in South Carolina where the younger missionaries knew her as Sister Cool". June had a unique outlook on life and was always active and enthusiastic. She is survived by her daughter Wendy, sister Doris, grandchildren: Ronald, Danielle and Talli, great grandchildren: Charles, Ashley, Camden, Cember and Brandon J. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Jessica; extended family includes her many friends in the church. There will be a memorial service at Oshawa ward, Rossland at Thornton, Sat urday, July 28th at 10 a.m. She will be laid to rest at the family plot in Hamilton Cemetery. Memorial donations the the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

SCOTT, James Kenneth
passed away peacefully July 17, 2001 in his 72nd year after a courageously fought battle with cancer. Dearly beloved husband and best friend of Irene, his wife and soul mate of 48 years. Loving and devoted father to Craig, Cheryl and Sandra and always an involved, caring and compassionate ''Super-Grandpa'' to his grandchildren Mallory, Matthew, Deena and Bryce. Best pal to Sprout.
