Beloved husband of Constance and much loved father of James Robert and his wife Shannyn. Proud grandfather of Molly, Spencer and Dylan. Predeceased by his parents Bruce Cowper Goodfellow and Eleanor Jane Haggert and by his son Ian Bruce. In keeping with the family's wishes, services will be private. GRIGSBY, Lillian Proud Veteran of World War I I W. A. F. Peacefully in her sleep at the Joyce Faye Terrace, Helen Henderson Care Centre on Thursday, February 15, 2007. The former Lillian Smith, at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Guy Grigsby. Cherished mother of Judi Perreault and her husband John of Kingston. Grandma will be sadly missed by her grandsons Matthew and David. A heartfelt appreciation to Jean, Marg, Vic and the staff of Joyce Faye Terrace at Helen Henderson Care Centre, for their loving friendship and support. In keeping with the family's wishes, there will be no visitation. Funeral Monday, February 19, 2007 to St. Thomas' Anglican Church (130 Lakeview Avenue at Cranbrook Street) at 2 pm, The Reverend Canon Robert Hales officiating. Cremation to follow with a private Interment at Cataraqui Cemetery in the spring. A reception will follow the service in the church hall. The beloved wife of Wade. Loving mother of Candice and Nicholas. Cherished daughter of Werner and Martha Lips, and daughter-in-law of Verne and Carol Harrison. Dear sister of Steven and Peter and his wife Karen. JAYNES, Dorothy Olive 1937 - 2006 At her late residence on Sunday, December 31, 2006, Dorothy died after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded with love by her chosen family. She was the only child of the late H. Bruce and Minnie (nee McFarlane) Jaynes. Dorothy is survived bt a number of cousins and by her chosen family, Alice Kennedy (Norm), Bill Smith (Lenna), Frances Gillespie (Cliff), George Smith, Sharon Reid (Bill), Donna Graham, Rick Smith (Stella), and many adoring nieces and nephews as well as her numerous caring friends. She was predeceased by Dad and Mom Smith and her chosen sisters Margaret, Mary and Patricia. Her faithful cats Beau and Rip were at her side. Following cremation, a Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 849 Development Drive in Kingston on Saturday, January 6, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. A reception will follow at the James Reid Funeral Home Reception Centre, 1900 John Counter Blvd at Highway 2 in Kingston. Predeceased by his loving wife Charmaine Joseph, 1995, sister Shirlie Reed, 2000, brother-in-laws Garnet, Morley and sister-in-law Lori. Survived by his children Rory (Junan), Rad (Helen), Carolyn Brintnell (David) and Catherine Pollitt (Rob). He will always be remembered as a special "Grandad" to his nine grandchildren, Robbi, Miranda, Kate, Joe, Randi, David, Gina, Greg, and Katrina. A Kingston businessman for over 45 years, Bob was known for his willingness to help others along with his sharp wit, keen sense of humour and wonderful ability to tell a story. He made significant contributions to the youth of Kingston and across the province of Ontario with his involvement in lacrosse. McKENDRY, Ruth Ruth McKendry, n e McLeod, died on December 16, 2006. Born September 11, 1920, she was raised in Lancaster, Glengarry County. She graduated in 1941 from Queen's University, with an arts degree in English, French, and philosophy. She and her husband Blake McKendry (died 30 October 2003) have lived in Montreal, Ottawa, Perth, Frontenac County and, since 1994, in Kingston. She has lectured and written articles and a book on Quilts and Other Bed Coverings in the Canadian Tradition, (1979 and 1985). Her most recent book is Classic Quilts (1997). Over the past forty years, she formed an extensive, well documented, collection of Canadian domestic textiles. The Canadian Museum of Civilization acquired The Ruth McKendry Collection of Quilts in 1979 and The Ruth McKendry Textile Collection in 2002. Predeceased by her parents Lillian and Harry McLeod, her brother John McLeod and her husband Blake McKendry, she is survived by her children David McKendry (and wife Nancy) of Ottawa and Jennifer McKendry of Kingston. Her grandsons are Ian, Martin, and John McKendry. She is missed by her dear sister Margaret McGuire, nephew Peter McGuire, niece Jane McGuire, as well as her friend Shirley Davidson. Her family extends sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff who assisted her with gentle care at Trillium Centre. Private Interment at Cataraqui Cemetery.

Loving sister of Wyonna Shangraw and Shirley Freeman (Ralph). Beloved mother of Marie (Brian), Tim (Sheila), Michelle, Tony (Debi), and Charmaine (Norm). Doting grandmother of Christine, David, Dale, Tania, Chad, Colin, Spencer, Cayli and Brian. Devoted great-grandmother of Dustin, Owen, Autumn and Conner. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Devoted grandmother of Susanne Hall, Patricia Elliott, Robert Metzler, William Simmering, Michael Simmering, Mary Simmering, John Metzler and Luke Metzler. Also survived by her sister, Doris McConnell, Kingston, and by six great-grandchildren. Resting at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, CATARAQUI CHAPEL (1900 John Counter Boulevard) Kingston, on Monday, February 19, 2007 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. with the Reverend David Iverson officiating. MUNDY, Jean Fair Peacefully at Sunrise of Unionville in Markham, Ontario on Thursday, February 8, 2007. The former Jean Fair McIlquham at the age of 89 years. Predeceased by her beloved husband Edward "Ted" Mundy and by her daughter Gail Kuelan. Remembered with much love by her grandsons Casey Kuelan, Timothy (Tina), Tom and Tobin Mundy, step-son Robert Mundy and son-in-law John Kuelan, as well as 7 great grandchildren. Sadly missed by her sister Ellen Craig of Unionville and her nieces Jennifer Lanyon (John), Deborah Ringwood (Gary), Valorie Donahoe (Patrick) and Paula Craig. Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (1900 John Counter Boulevard). Funeral Saturday, February 17, 2007 for service in the chapel of the funeral home at 1:30 pm, The Venerable William Clarke officiating. Interment Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. MUNRO, William Howard Veteran of WW II Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital, on Monday, December 25, 2006. William Howard Munro, in his 90th year, beloved husband of the late Kathleen Rose Guy and father of the late Elaine Veley, his eldest daughter. Survived by his three daughters, Barbara Veley (Dave), Geraldine "Gerri" Price (Wayne) and Wendy Gollogly (Dave). Also survived by sisters, Lois McLaren, Helen Lundy and Mary Stallard, and brothers Orvil, Gerald, Robert and Stanley, and by sister-in-law Jean Clarke. Remembered by his eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Resting at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, CATARAQUI CHAPEL (1900 John Counter Boulevard). Friends will be received on Thursday, December 28 from 7 - 9 pm. Funeral service in the chapel on Friday, December 29 at 1:30 pm. The Venerable Bill Clarke officiating. Interment Cataraqui Cemetery. Murphy, Edwin Erwell Peacefully at the Fairmount Home on Tuesday December 19th in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Naydenne (Cronk) for 53 years. Dear father of Wanda Reid. Will be sadly missed by his son-in-law Mark and grandchildren Brenda, Ian and Sarah. Lovingly remembered by his brothers Emerald and Oswald of Odessa, sister Viola of Napanee. Predeceased by sisters Eileen (Babcock) and Velma (Whitehead). Fondly remembered his many neices and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Fairmount Home for their constant care and support of Edwin. Resting at James Reid Funeral Home, Catarqui Chapel (1900 John Counter Blvd.) The family will receive friends and family on Friday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday December 23 at 10:30 a.m., Rev. NEILL, Audrey Aileen Evelyn (nee Timbrell) Retired, 23 year Dupont employee Peacefully at Trillium Specialty Care, Garden Centre, on Sunday, January 28, 2007, in her 78th year. Audrey, beloved wife of Douglas Neill, for 60 years. Much loved mother of Richard (Ina) and Marlene (Reg). Cherished grandmother of Carol-Anne, Sheila (deceased), Tina, Shane, Jason, Richie, Blaine, Christina, Brittany and Jordan. Great grandmother of Mackenzie (deceased), Sheila, Melissa, Josh, Sierra and Emma. Predeceased by her mother Nellie Timbrell, and three brothers Tim, Mostyn and Walter Timbrell. Loved by many nieces and nephews. Also missed by her three sisters-in-law, Phyllis Mackey, Wilda Neill and Debbie Neill. We wish to thank the caring staff of Trillium Specialty Care, Garden Centre for all their assistance and support. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Private graveside service at Cataraqui Cemetery. Memorial service at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations for those who wish, may be made to the Alzheimer Society or Specialty Care-Trillium Centre.
