BAZELEY, Freda Heritage (Northern Electric Telephone Pioneer) At St. Patrick's Home on Sunday, August 12, 2001, Freda Bazeley in her 101st year. Eldest daughter of the late Benjamin and Ellen Maria Bazeley. Dear aunt of John Walsh (Barbara), Harry Walsh (Elizabeth) and the late David Bazeley (Mary). Great aunt of D'Arcy (Victoria), John (Kathy), Catherine, Rebecca, Harriet and Leanne (Ron). Great-great-aunt of Nicholas, Kyle and MacKenzie. Predeceased by sister Sybil Walsh and brothers Seymour and Kenneth Bazeley. Sister-in-law of Margaret Bazeley. Born in Reading, England on November 27, 1900. Freda worked for 42 years with Northern Electric while she resided in the Montreal area. Following her retirement, she settled in Lancaster, Ontario and latterly, in Ottawa. Friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Church of the Resurrection, 3191 Riverside Drive, Ottawa on Wednesday, August 15, 2001 at 11 a.m. with a reception following. Interment St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery, Lancaster, ON. BULL, Jean Constance (nee Gill) Peacefully at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Sunday, August 12, 2001, aged 71 years. Beloved wife of Warren and dear mother of Micheal (Rie) and Andrea (Yvon Noel). Loving grandmother of Christopher, Melissa and Vanessa Noel and Warren Bull. She is also survived by her sisters Elaine Johnson and Betty Henry of Prescott and her brother Ronald Gill of Brockville. Predeceased by her parents Lena and James Gill and brothers James, Byron and Wallace. Friends may visist at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service will be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (Kent at Wellington) on Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment Beechwood Cemetery. CAMARA, Andrew Passed away peacefully on Monday, August 13, 2001 at the Ottawa General Hospital, after a long battle with cancer, Andrew Camara, age 31. Loved son of Sylvia (the late Emilio) Camara of Smiths Falls. Sadly missed by his family in Spain, his uncle and aunt Kenneth (Elaine) Lund of Ottawa, and many good friends. DAVID, Alfred Sadly in hospital on Tuesday August 14, 2001 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of Jean David for almost 53 loving years. Loving son of the late Max and the late Nanette David. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Erwin, Josef, Karola, Bertel and Elsie. He was much loved and will be truly missed by his many nieces and nephews. The son of the late Samuel Drolet and of the late Florilda Boure of Quebec City and, the husband of the late Francoise Desrochers, will be remembered by his brothers and sisters, Benoit (Marie-Laure Bourdages) Quebec, Marcel - Sherbrooke, Marthe (Sr. Bon Pasteur) Quebec, Madeleine (Cyrville Cote) Ste-Foy, Jacques (Pauline Gosselin) Charlesbourg, Claude (Micheline Demers) St-Augustin, and Monique (the late Marien Cote) St-Mathieu de Beloeil. He will be remembered by his many nephews and nieces, Paule and Gilbert Lasnier, France, Sylvie and Vincent Prevost, Diane, Pierre, Danielle, Francois, Jean-Marc, Jean-Francois, Linda and Lucie Drolet, Anne, Dominique, Chantal, Isabelle and Frederic Cote, Jean, Maryse, Marie-France and Lise Desrochers and Claire, Gisele and Gilles Bourgeois. In addition to friends and colleagues, he will be remembered by Andre Bourassa and Marthe Lavoie. Preceeding him were the late Gilberte (the late Paris Lasnier) Ste-Foy, the late Suzanne (Roger Prevost) Charlesbourg and the late Edith Lasnier. FLINTER, Jim "Scotty" Born Feb. 26 1919 - Dundee, Scotland Suddenly at home on Sunday, August 12, 2001 at age 82 with his loving wife of 60 years, Lucy by his side. Loving "Da" of Margaret and her husband Ron Whatley, Charlotte and her husband Lloyd Greer, Louise and her husband Tom Madden and Jim and his wife Kathleen. Devoted Grampa of Lisa (Mike), Michael (Angelina), Carrie-Ann, Lloyd, Sean, Erin (Darren), Heather, Jeremy, Ian, Megan, Michelle and Great Grampa to Kristine, Emily, Andrew, Amy and Melissa. Predeceased by his brother Joseph of Dundee. Survived by nieces and nephews in Scotland. Jim served in the British Army during WWII with the Black Watch 5th Battalion (Chindits) in Burma. He retired in 1984, from the British American Bank Note. Jim loved his family, enjoyed singing, golfing and playing snooker. Jim's humour, generosity and loving spirit will be missed by his family and friends. FOSTER, Dora Martha Zuba Peacefully at the West End Villa on the evening of August 13,2001, in her 97th year. Dora lived all her life in Ottawa where she worked for many years as a clerk in the Dept. of Veterans Affairs and subsequently for Ogilvy's Dept. Store. Predeceased by her daughter Gloria Foster, in 1956 and by her sister Mona Powers in January 2000. Dora was member and life elder of Trinity United Church, Maitland Ave, Ottawa and was a member of the Trinity Choir for many years. Predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Antonio Gregorio (Maria Candida Lourenco); his wife, Rosa Fraga Dinis; one daughter, Fatima, and two brothers, Eduardo and Jose. Dear father of Antonio Gregorio of Mississauga, Ontario and of George (Fatima Melo) of Aylmer, Quebec. Dear grandfather of Tammie, Kari-Anne and Christopher, and great-grandfather of Alex and Adriane. He will also be missed by his sisters, Maria Candida Pereira of California, Maria Dos Santos Soares of Acores, Portugal, Ludevina Picanco and Maria De Fatima Silva both of Ottawa, and by many nieces and nephews. LOUBIER, Philippe Accidentally on Friday, August 10, 2001 at the age of 23. Son of Benoit Loubier and Jocelyne Valcourt. Brother of Melanie. Also survived by many relatives and good friends.
