Tracey E. Rowland II
Tracey Edward "Trey" Rowland II, 2 and 1/2 months, son of Tracey Edward and Melinda Stowe Rowland, Comer, died Monday, August 16, 1999.
Rowland was born in Clarke County.
Funeral services were held Thursday, August 19, in the chapel of Brown Funeral Home, Danielsville, with the Rev. Marshall Vaughn officiating. Burial was in the Hannah Creek Baptist Church cemetery. Members of the Brown Funeral Home Staff served as pallbearers.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, include two sisters, Samantha Rowland and Courtney Rowland, both of Comer; and grandparents, Lewis and Rachel Pritchett, Tommy and Sheila Stowe and Robert and Barbara Rowland.
Brown Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Rev. Otis Meadows Sr.
The Rev. Otis Meadows Sr., 79, of Danielsville, died Saturday, August 21, 1999, at Cobb Memorial Hospital, Royston.
Mr. Meadows was born September 15, 1919 in Oglethorpe County. He was a son of the late Cicero and Annie May McIntyre Meadows.
Mr. Meadows was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served during World War II, and was a retired electrician. He was a member of New Haven Holiness Church. Mr. Meadows was preceded in death by a son, Otis Meadows Jr., and two brothers, Willie and Carl Meadows.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 24, at Bethel Holiness Church with the Revs. Rufus Miller and Eugene Walls officiating. Burial was in the New Haven Holiness Church cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah Wallace Meadows; two daughters, Frances Brown and Patricia Peay, both of Danielsville; three sons, James "Bud" Meadows, Ila, and Bobby Meadows and Ben Meadows, both of Danielsville; one sister, Viola Epps, Washington; seven brothers, Mack Meadows, Frank Meadows and J.T. Meadows, all of Union Point, Weyman Meadows, Social Circle, R.B. Meadows, Monroe, Harold Meadows, Kathleen, and Hoyt Meadows, Eagle Lake, Fla.; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pruitte Funeral Home, Royston, was in charge of arrangements.

Roy L. Gee
Roy Leon Gee, 67, of Commerce, died Monday, July 19, 1999, at BJC Medical Center, Commerce.
A native of Commerce, Mr. Gee was born May 13, 1932. He was a son of the late Riley L. and Bessie Anderson Gee.
Mr. Gee worked as a bus driver for Jackson County Schools.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 21, at Morning Star Baptist Church with the Revs. Mark Poston and Tommy Seay officiating. Burial was in Grey Hill Cemetery, Commerce.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Nell Gee; one son, David Gee, Commerce; one daughter, Carolyn Gee, Columbia, S.C.; two step-daughters, Donna Ayers, Ila, and Debbie Looney, Center; one brother, Ralph Gee, Braselton; one sister, Louise Norris, Dry Pond; and five grandchildren.
Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.

Geraldine D. Pritchett
Mrs. Geraldine Dale Pritchett, 80, of Commerce, died Sunday, August 22, 1999, at BJC Nursing Home, Commerce.
A native of Madison County, Mrs. Pritchett was born December 4, 1918. She was a daughter of the late Dock Harrison and Hattie Hudson Dale.
Mrs. Pritchett was a retired dietitian with BJC Medical Center, Commerce, and was a member of Madison Street Baptist Church, Commerce. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Pritchett, a sister, Clara Booth, and a brother, Hoyle Dale.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 24, at Madison Street Baptist Church with the Rev. David Harbin officiating. Burial was in Grey Hill Cemetery, Commerce.
Survivors include one son, Johnny Pritchett, Taylor, S.C.; two daughters, Betty Potts, St. Simons Island, and Gail Turner, Greenville, S.C.; four brothers, Albert Dale, Charlotte, N.C., Billy Dale, Commerce, Gene Dale, Marietta, and Lee Dale, Lilburn; six sisters, Frances Center and Pegi Murzynski, both of Athens, JoAnn Davis, Danielsville, Thelma Glenn, Commerce, Dot Jowers, Jacksonville, Fla., and Faye White, Carlton; brother-in-law, Edgar Pritchett, Nicholson; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.

Mae Belle Ginn
Mrs. Mae Belle Ginn, 88, of Carnesville, died Saturday, August 21, 1999, at Elbert Memorial Hospital, Elberton.
Mrs. Ginn was born November 26, 1910 in Franklin County. She was a daughter of the late Harvey Lee and Bertha Lee Gray Barrett.
Mrs. Ginn was a homemaker and a member of Middle River Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar K. Ginn, and two grandsons, Keith Ginn and Sammy Reese.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 24, at Middle River Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold LeCroy officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Jean G. Parham, Elberton, and Jeanette Reese, Royston; two sons, Dwight Ginn, Lake City, and Thomas Lawson Ginn, Lawrenceville; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Ginn Funeral Home, Carnesville, was in charge of arrangements.

Dupree Moon
Dupree Moon, 90, of Royston, died Monday, August 16, 1999, at Athens Regional Medical Center.
A native of Madison County, Mr. Moon was born May 6, 1909. He was a son of the late John Bill and Bessie Ann Scarboro Moon.
Mr. Moon was a poultry farmer and of the Holiness faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Ruth Harris Moon, one daughter, Myrian Moon, and one sister, Annie Mae Scarboro.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 18, in the chapel of Pruitte Funeral Home, Royston, with the Revs. Kenneth Vanderford and Malcom Herndon officiating. Burial was in the New Bethel Congregational Holiness Church cemetery. Greg Moon, Chad Carey, Todd Carey, Tony Phillips, Mark White and Marvin Roach served as pallbearers.
Survivors include two sons, Ronnie Moon, Arnoldsville, and Tony Moon, Royston; one daughter, Debra Carey, Royston; three brothers, Wiley Moon, Royston, and Haskel and Lee Moon, both of Anderson, S.C.; three sisters, Lucy Pulliam, Ruby Vaughn and Lila B. Hendrix, all of Royston; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Pruitte Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Sara Sims
Mrs. Sara Sims, 69, of Danielsville, died Saturday, August 21, 1999.
A native of Athens, Mrs. Sims was a daughter of the late George Welch and Lucille Draper.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Little Country Church, Commerce. Mrs. Sims was also a member of Friendship Baptist Church, Danielsville.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, August 24, in the Meadow Baptist Church cemetery, Madison County.
Survivors include her husband, James H. Sims; and one brother, George Lamar Welch, Athens.
Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville, was in charge of arrangements.

Dorothy B. Adams
Mrs. Dorothy Blickhahn Adams, 85, of Hull, died Wednesday, August 18, 1999.
A native of Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Adams was a daughter of the late Henry and Mary Seidelman Blickhahn.
She was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during World War II, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Adams was the former wife of the late Thomas Laylon Adams.
Memorial services were held Friday, August 20, at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Adams, Hull, and Joan Adams Hartman, Comer; six sons, Thomas Adams and James Adams, both of Hull, Terry Adams and Ted Adams, both of Colbert, Phillip Adams, Gainesville, and Dean Adams, Comer; one sister, Gertrude Reilly, Hull; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Bernstein Funeral Home, Athens, was in charge of arrangements.

Norman Pickens
Norman Pickens, 37, of Hull, died Monday, August 16, 1999.
Mr. Pickens was a son of Helen Toliver, Hull, and the late Gilbert Pickens.
He was a warehouse worker for Winn-Dixie Inc.
Funeral services were held Friday, August 20, in the chapel of Mack & Payne Funeral Home, Athens, with Elder Mark Hall officiating. Burial was in East Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include two daughters, Shanorma Pickens and Keondra Pickens, both of Miami, Fla.; two sons, Norman Pickens Jr. and Keon Pickens, both of Miami, Fla.; three sisters, Georgiann Everett, Reba Brenson and Sandra Tice, all of Miami, Fla.; five brothers, Clifford Brown, Tennessee, Gilbert Pickens Jr., Hull, Henry Toliver Jr., Hardwick, Robert Toliver, Miami, Fla., and John Toliver, Atlanta; a grandmother, Annie Sue Johnson, Hull; and nieces and nephews.
Mack & Payne Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Marvin A. Burt Jr.
Marvin Andrew Burt Jr., 72, of Carlton, died Monday, August 23, 1999.
A native of Oglethorpe County, Mr. Burt was a son of the late Marvin Andrew Sr. and Hazel Lance Burt.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during World War II, and was a farmer. Mr. Burt attended Millstone Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 24, at Glade United Methodist Church with the Rev. Clayton Sanders officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Seriol Griffith, Wallace Mathews, Bob David, Randy Burt, Kevin Burt and Mike Appling served as pallbearers.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Dover Burt; three sons, the Rev. David Burt and Darrell Burt, both of Carlton, and Danny Burt, Elberton; one sister, Mary Helen Appling, Carlton; one brother, Eddie Clyde Burt, Auburn, Ala.; three grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandson.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Hospice, Athens, or the American Cancer Society.
Hicks Funeral Home, Elberton, was in charge of arrangements.

Boyce W. Hall
Boyce William Hall, 53, of Danielsville, died Tuesday, May 2, 2000.
Mr. Hall was born in Walhalla, S.C. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was employed as a foreman at TDS Tire Co. Mr. Hall was of the Christian faith.
A memorial service was held Sunday, May 7, in the chapel of Brown Funeral Home, Danielsville.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Whitlock Hall; two daughters, Marsha Hall, Danielsville, and Melissa Chastain, Martin; and two grandchildren.
Brown Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
