Lee A. Ilten Jr.: 82, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Saturday afternoon, April 14, at Mercy Medical Center following a courageous yet brief battle with cancer. A celebration of his life service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 18 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Jonathan Offt officiating. Entombment will be in Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories Mausoleum. Friends may call at the Cedar Memorial Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and at the church after 9:30 on Wednesday. A reception will follow at the Cedar Rapids Country Club. Friends may, if they wish, donate in memory of Lee to the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice of Mercy House, 2740 1st Avenue NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402 or the American Diabetes Association, 1026 A Avenue NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402.
Lee is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ethel of Cedar Rapids, his son, Dan Ilten and wife Suzanne of Edina, Minnesota, two daughters, Pamela Strauss and husband Steve of Cedar Rapids and Vicki Peters and husband Stacey of Bourbonnais, Illinois, a daughter in law, Ann O'Donnell Ilten of Nashville, TN, his 107 year old mother, Mrs. Meta "Acka" Ilten Sr., his brother Jack Ilten and wife Ruth of Cedar Rapids, 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a large extended family. Nearly 50 years ago, Lee was preceded in death by his father Lee Sr., and more recently by his son, Douglas John Ilten, on January 6 of this year.
Lee was born September 1, 1924 in Cedar Rapids the son of Lee Sr. and Meta Keiper Ilten. He married Ethel Vangen on March 6, 1948 in Cedar Rapids. He attended Coe College as well as Iowa State University where he was a member of Delta Upsilon fraternity. Mr. Ilten was past president and owner of Ilten's Incorporated in Cedar Rapids. Lee was past president of the Cedar Rapids Sheet Metal Contractors Association where he pioneered the Industry Fund for the association. He was also instrumental in getting licensing for sheet metal contractors. Lee was a member of the Cedar Rapids Heating Board, the Trinity Lutheran School Board, Elmcrest Country Club and later the Cedar Rapids Country Club and the Downtown Rotary Club. Lee was recognized by the City of Cedar Rapids as "Boss of the Year." Lee enjoyed woodworking, crafts and photography. Lee was a kind and thoughtful man that dearly loved his family and his many friends.

Steven ''Louie'' Inger

Steven 'Louie' Inger, 42, of 109 Elizabeth St. SW died Friday, Jan. 24, 2003 at St. Luke's Hospital after a short illness. Services at 11 AM on Monday at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Rev Rick Tresnak will officiate. Inurnment at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cedar Memorial Funeral Home from 2 to 5 PM on Sunday and at the Chapel after 10 AM on Monday.
Survivors include his parents, Aaron and Ruth Inger of Marion, a sister Bonnie Canfield and her husband, Patrick of Shueyville, Judy Baty and husband, Neal of Coggon, Susan Kainz of Marion and a brother, Roger of Robins. He is also survived by two nephews, Matt and Aaron, his mother in law, Virgia Galleger, two sisters in law, Peggy and Pam, a stepdaughter, Tammy and friends too numerous to name.
Louie was born on March 25, 1960 in Cedar Rapids. He married Patricia Galleger, who he loved dearly. She died in 2002. Louie was a welder and mechanic for Seegars Truck and Trailer for 10 years. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle and his two cats, Harley D. and Honyock. Memorial donation may be given to, Toys For Tots in Louie's name.

Maxine P. Irvin
Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on April 13, 1920
Departed on August 23, 2004. Resided in Noblesville, IN.

Maxine P. Irvin, 84, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away August 23, 2004, in Noblesville, Indiana. She was born April 13, 1920 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Mrs. Irvin was a member of Central Park Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn H. Irvin, her mother, Eva Stoll, her father, Raymond Stoll, her brothers, Raymond Stoll Jr., and Norman Stoll, and a sister, Esther Peterson.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Wagner and son-in-law Phil Wagner, both of Noblesville, Indiana, four sisters, Arlene Shields of Stockton, California, Helen Hamer of Mission, Texas, Marion Umbdenstock of Vinton, and Marjorie Bowers of Cedar Rapids, two grandchildren, Brent Wagner of Camby, Indiana, and Kimberly Webster of Mooresville, Indiana, and three great-grandchildren.
Services for Maxine will be at 1 PM Friday in Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Burial in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home from 5 to 8 PM on Thursday and at the chapel after 12:30 PM on Friday.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Aaron J. Inger
Born in Waterville, Iowa on November 10, 1917
Departed on October 31, 2004. Resided in Cedar Rapids, IA.

Aaron J. Inger, 86, of 8280 C Ave. NE died Sunday, Oct. 31, 2004 at his home after a long illness. Services at 11 AM on Wed. at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories where there will also be military rites. Rev. Rick Tresnak will officiate. Burial at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cedar Memorial Funeral Home from 5 to 8 PM on Tuesday and at the Chapel after 10 AM on Wed.

Aaron was born on Nov. 10, 1917 in Waterville, the son of Aaron and Emma Herman Inger. He married Ruth E. Hawkins on Aug. 17, 1946 in Decorah. Aaron worked at Rockwell-Collins for 27 years, retiring in 1980. Aaron was an avid pilot and also the owner and operator of Inger Welding Service for many years. He was a member of Marion American Legion Post No. 298 and proudly served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. Memorial donations may be given to Hospice of St. Luke's or the Cedar Valley Humane Society in Aaron's name. Military rites by Marion American Legion Post No. 298.

Max A. Irish
Born in Shellsburg, Iowa on August 21, 1935
Departed on March 10, 2005. Resided in Cedar Rapids, IA.

Max A. Irish, 69, of 1394 Elmhurst Dr. NE, died Thursday, March 10, 2005, in St. Luke's hospital following a long illness. Services with military and Masonic rites at 1 PM Tuesday in Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Rev. Tom Pietz of First Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home from 5 to 8 PM on Monday and at the chapel after 12:30 PM on Tuesday.
Survivors include his wife Ruth Ann, two daughters Lisa Brekke and husband Randy of Hiawatha, and Jeannine Alberts and husband Joseph of Atkins, his brothers and sisters, Joel Irish and wife Elaine of Davenport, Helen Schirm and husband Dean of Florida, Berniece Fox and husband Leonard of Cedar Rapids, George Irish and wife Sheryl of Marion, and a special brother Dennis Irish who did everything Max needed, and Dennis's wife Diane, five grandchildren Robyne Hurych, Bryce Brekke, Cody Alberts, Shane Brekke, and Kim Gescheidler, a niece Michelle Fox who took special care of Max. He also loved his two Maltese, Caesar and Tasha. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Dorothy Pingel, his step-father Howard Bergen, and his loving mother in law Gladys Lee.
Max was born August 21, 1935 in Shellsburg, Iowa to Joel and Juanita Salem Irish. He served in the US Navy during the Korean war. He married Ruth Ann Stull on June 14, 1957 in Vinton, Iowa. He was a Quality Control Engineer for Rockwell-Collins for 35 years retiring in 1991. He was a member of Crescent Masonic Lodge No 25, El Kahir Shrine, and Hanford American Legion Post No 5. Max was a former president of the El Kahir Shrine Drum and Bugle Corp. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family, and took special pride in his grandchildren..
A memorial fund has been established.

Louise Bertha Ingram
Born in Montgomery, Alabama on April 12, 1937
Departed on October 29, 2005. Resided in Cedar Rapids, IA.

Louise Ingram, 68, of 4845 Johnson Avenue NW, died at St. Luke's Hospital, Saturday, October 29, 2005, after a long illness. Services: 12 p.m. Saturday at Gospel Tabernacle Church by the Rev. Paul Beets. Burial: Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at Turner West Funeral Home Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and after 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Survivors include three sons, Joseph Jr. and Andre, both of Cedar Rapids, and Gregory of Des Moines; four sisters, Mary Steele of Minneapolis, MN, Virginia Gee of Philadelphia, PA, Dorothy Sears and Pearlie Griggs, both of Cedar Rapids; and two brothers, Johnny Powell of Birmingham, AL, and Joe Jones of Florida.
Also surviving are three daughters-in-law; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
Louise was preceded in death by three sisters.
She married Joseph Ingram on December 23, 1962 in Philadelphia, PA. He died in 1976. She was a member of the Gospel Tabernacle Church.

Wilda J. Ihde
Born in Paterson, NJ. on November 14, 1926
Departed on January 3, 2006. Resided in Cedar Rapids, IA.

Wilda J. Ihde, 79, of Heritage Nursing and Rehab died Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2006 after a long illness. Services at 1 PM on Friday at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Chaplain Christine Wagner-Hecht will officiate. Burial at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cedar Memorial Funeral Home from 5 to 8 PM on Thursday and at the Chapel after Noon on Friday.
Survivors include three sons, Larry and his wife, Tammy of Cedar Rapids, David of Steamboat Springs, CO., and Doug of Cedar Rapids, two daughters, Elizabeth Ihde of Honolulu, Hawaii and Regan Ihde and her husband Michael of Buffalo, NY. She is also survived by six grandchildren and many special friends.
Wilda was born on Nov. 14, 1926 in Paterson NJ., the daughter of Wilfred and Joann Brownlee Rigby. During the war effort of WWII she proudly worked at Curtis-Wright Aircraft. She married Stanley W. Ihde on June 9, 1951 in Paterson, NJ. He died in 1987. Wilda had been a clerk at Mercy Medical Center, she later worked at the Longbranch and most recently was a realtor. She was member of the Linn County Democratic Party, Beyond Rubies, the League of Women Voters and Women Unlimited. She enjoyed playing bridge, golf, the Cedar Rapids Symphony, and gardening. Wilda was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her beloved family and many friends. Memorial donations may be given for research for stroke victims in Wilda's name.
