Beatrice M. LeClere, 94, of Cedar Rapids, died at Heritage Nursing and Rehab, Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Graveside Services: 1 p.m. Thursday at Cedar Memorial Park cemetery by Lance Finch. Arrangements by Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel.

Survivors include her daughter, Judy Brown of Cedar Rapids; son, Jim (Marilou) LeClere of Clearwater, Fl; a sister, Peggy Keck of Boyerstown, Pa; 16 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond; sons, Alan “Buzz” and Jack LeClere; sister, Helen Hemminger; and brother, John Yuza.

Bea was born April 29, 1917 to John and Mollie Yuza and raised in Cedar Rapids. She married Raymond LeClere and they had four children. Bea loved home, flowers, yard sales; was an avid reader and also worked daily crosswords. She lived in the same home for over seventy years until it was taken by the flood of 2008. Bea was a waitress at the Kozy Inn in the 1950’s and then was a secretary at the MethWick Community until her retirement in 1980. She was always there for everyone, thinking first of others. Her flowers and unique yard ornaments is where she spent her time.

We are left with memories of wonderful holiday gatherings and her example of tremendous inner strength. She was loved and will be missed by all whose life she touched.

Memorials may be made to the St. Luke’s Hospice or the Witwer Center Meals on Wheels program.

Margaret Looney
Born in Ely, Iowa on February 23, 1908
Departed on August 7, 2011. Resided in Marshall, Wisconsin (formerly of Ely, IA).

Margaret Looney, 103, formerly of Ely, died Sunday, August 7, 2011 at Sienna Crest Assisted Living, Marshall, WI. Services: 1 p.m. Friday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home with a visitation beginning at 11 a.m. Friday. Interment: Rogers Grove Cemetery, Ely. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Survivors include her children, Patricia Bennett of Marshall, WI and Clark (Suzanne) Looney of Fairborn, OH; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil in 1979; four brothers; two sisters; and one grandchild.

Margaret was born February 23, 1908 in Ely to John and Elizabeth Clark. She married Cecil Looney on February 15, 1930. Education was very important to her. She graduated from Coe College with a teaching degree. She was employed at Collins Radio for many years. She was a Noble Grand in the Rebekah Lodge and a Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star, Chapter II. Margaret experienced and was formed by the many changes in her life such as the Great Depression. She enjoyed playing cards.

Scott Lint, 30, of Cedar Rapids, died at home, Saturday, October 1, 2011. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories by Certified Celebrant Julie Freese. Interment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral Home and after 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel.

Survivors include his mother, Kathy Lint of Cedar Rapids; sister, Shelby (Mark) Rasmussen and their daughter, Gabryel, of Anamosa and brother, Steve Lint of Cedar Rapids; and his grandparents, Paul and Betty Reutzel of Cedar Rapids. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Lint.

Scott received his Associates degree from Hamilton Business College. He liked to fish, hunt and spend time with his friends, especially his best friends, King and Ranae. He enjoyed frisbee golf, boating, and anything outdoors. He was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Due to recent construction, it is required that visitors to Cedar Memorial enter making a right turn from west bound First Avenue (heading towards downtown).

Judith Kaye Loney
Born in Guttenberg, Iowa on January 2, 1949
Departed on October 10, 2011. Resided in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Judith K. Loney, 62 of Cedar Rapids, died October 10, 2011 at St. Luke’s Hospital following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 14, 2011 at Marion Christian Church. Rev. Peter Mitchell will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Entombment will take place at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Due to ongoing construction, it is required that visitors to Cedar Memorial enter making a right turn from west bound First Avenue (heading towards downtown).

Surviving are her children, William Loney and wife Veronica of Vinton, Kimberly Mills and husband Jason of Springfield, Virginia and Kelly Loney of Tucson, Arizona; her grandchildren, Amyjo, Caitlin, Destiny, BreAnna, Terra, Dylan, Brisa and Brenton; and her brothers, Richard Leliefeld and wife Mary of Wheaton, Illinois and Norman Leliefeld and wife Laurie of Dubuque, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, D.J. Loney.

Judith Kaye Loney was born January 2, 1949 in Guttenberg, Iowa the daughter of Norman J. and Lois L. (Harbaugh) Leliefeld. She was employed at Iowa Health Physicians in the office for several years. Judy was a member of Marion Christian Church for the last 10 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Judy’s honor are made to a charity benefiting cancer research.

Anneliese R. LaGrange
Born in Heidelbromm, Germany on December 29, 1935
Departed on October 10, 2011. Resided in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Anneliese R. LaGrange, 75, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Monday, October 10, 2011 at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy. A private family memorial inurnment will be held at the Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

She is survived by two sons, Arron (Nicholett) LaGrange of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Dennis (Jennifer) LaGrange of Cedar Rapids Iowa; three daughters, Patricia (Jeffrey) Davis, of Hiawatha, Iowa; Josanna LaGrange of Hastings, Nebraska; Laura (Chuck) Graham of Hiawatha, Iowa; grandchildren, Alexis, Danielle, Brian, Tara, David, Steven, Andrea, Emily, Benjamin, Jacob, and Avery Anneliese; and one great grandchild Amelia Grace.

She was preceded in death by her parents George and Maria (Wiedel) Schnobrich.

Anneliese R. LaGrange was born December 29, 1935 in Heidelbromm, Germany the parents of George and Maria (Wiedel) Schnobrich. She was an amazing mother who provided daycare for over 40 years in the Cedar Rapids area. Anneliese enjoyed cooking, especially holiday cooking. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to thank Evergreen Estates, Hallmark Care Center, and the staff at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy.

Pearl K. Lodge
Born in Arlington, Iowa on December 2, 1915
Departed on October 24, 2011. Resided in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Pearl K. Lodge, 95, of Cedar Rapids, went peacefully to be with the Lord surrounded by her daughter Jackie, granddaughter Leia, and great granddaughter Cali, Monday, October 24, 2011 at Higley Mansion Care Center. Memorial Services: 1 p.m. Thursday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories by the Rev. William Harnish. Inurnment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held Wednesday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 3 to 7 p.m.

Survivors include her daughter, Jackie (Larry) Fenneman of Marion and stepson, Donald (Darlene) of Atlanta, GA; special friend, Darlene Lovell; eight grandchildren; special granddaughter Leia, and special great granddaughter Cali; eleven great grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; and seven step great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Elmer Reid and George Lodge; son, Lee Reid; daughter, Gwendolyn Jordt; four sisters; and a brother.

Pearl was born December 2, 1915 in Arlington, Iowa to Hiram and Grace Davis. She married Elmer Reid on February 6, 1937. He died in 1967. She married George Lodge March 25, 1975. He died in 1986. Pearl was the bookkeeper for F. W. Means and Carma Lou’s House of Music, retiring in 1977. Pearl was a member of the VFW and Eagles Auxiliaries, a past member of the Eastern Star, and a member of 1st Assembly of God Church.

Memorials may be directed to St. Luke’s Hospice.

The family would like to especially thank the staff at Higley Mansion, St. Luke’s Hospice, and thank Jan from 1stAssembly of God for coming to perform a last prayer with family and Pearl on a very short notice.
