DANVILLE – Frederick Charles VanHorne, 75, of Danville died Monday morning (Nov. 8, 1999) at the Danville Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Spring Hill Mausoleum, Danville. Chaplain Garth Lehman will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the mausoleum. Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St., Danville, is handling arrangements.
Virgil Ester
LeROY – Virgil Eugene Ester, 61, of LeRoy, formerly of Farmer City, died at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday (Nov. 10, 1999) at his home.
Graveside memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at McCord Cemetery, rural Farmer City. The Rev. Dale L. Cox will officiate.
There will be no visitation. Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, 106 N. Main St., Farmer City, is in charge of arrangements.
Marilyn Lyons
SAVOY – Private family graveside services for Marilyn Slagle Lyons, 65, of Savoy, formerly of Bement, Sullivan and Monticello, will be Thursday at Bement Township Cemetery, Bement. The Rev. Steve Ingram will officiate.
Roux-Wright Funeral Home, 348 N. Piatt St., Bement, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Lyons died at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday (Nov. 9, 1999) at the Carle Arbours, Savoy.

URBANA – Jerome "Jerry" McCabe, 65, of 2209 Willow Road, U, died at 12:35 p.m. Wednesday (Nov. 10, 1999) at home.

FORREST – Mary Leah McCoy, 48, of Forrest died at 1:45 a.m. Wednesday (Nov. 10, 1999) at her sister's home in Forrest.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the American Lutheran Church, Gibson City. The Rev. Wayne Shelksohn will officiate. Burial will be private.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lamb Funeral Home, 303 N. Church St., Gibson City, and from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church.

MORRIS – Michael R. Morfey, 46, of Morris died Tuesday (Nov. 9, 1999) at Loyola Medical Center, Maywood.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Church, Morris. The Rev. Robert Hoffenkamp will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Morris.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at U.C. Davis & Sons Funeral Home, 301 W. Washington, Morris, with a wake service during the visitation.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E. West St., Georgetown. Raymond Gordon officiate. Burial will be in Johnson Cemetery, Danville.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
