Zachary N. Tran
Zachary N. Tran, 6, of Vernon Hills, IL passed away suddenly Wednesday, October 1, 2003 at the Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. He was born April 17, 1997 in Barrington and had lived in Vernon Hills all his life. He was a student in the first grade at the Hawthorn Options School in Vernon Hills and was a child that loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, skating, snowboarding, skiing and biking. Zac was a member of the Maroon Tornados Soccer Team with the GLSA and was also a member of the Glacier Hockey League Mini Mites.
Surviving are his parents, Jayson and Michelle (nee Klahn) Tran; and sister, Allison all of Vernon Hills; his grandparents, Ngoc and Di Tran of Grayslake, Judy (Tom Simon) Klahn of Stoughton, WI and Gerald (Nancy) Klahn of Nekoosa, WI; his great grandmother, Edith Klahn of Waunakee, WI; and his aunts and uncles, Peter and Jackie Klahn, Karen and Randy Endres, Andrea and Trung Lu and Robin Tu Tran; also surviving are his cousins, Eliza, Alex, Madison, Kevin, Stephanie and Ryan.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Monday, October 6, 2003 at the United Methodist Church, 429 Brainerd Ave, Libertyville. Interment will follow at Lakeside cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 PM Sunday at the BURNETT-DANE FUNERAL HOME, 120 W. Park Ave (Rt. 176), Libertyville. The Zac Tran Memorial Fund has been established at the Libertyville Bank and Trust, 1200 S. Milwaukee Ave, Libertyville, IL, 60048, as plans are being made to establish a children's project in his name.

Edward A. Walker
Edward A. Walker, 81, of Long Lake, IL passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2003 at the Riverbluff Nursing Home in Rockford, IL. He was born in Waukegan, IL on September 20, 1922, the son of the late William and Alice (nee Hellquist) Walker. Ed grew up on the family farm in Lake Villa and spent most of his adult life in Long Lake. He was an entrepreneur, owning his own business in Lake County, The Eagle Sewer Construction Co. An active Republican, he served as a Precinct Committeeman in Ingleside. He was a former Trustee of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Long Lake, a past member of the Gages Lake Snowmobile Club and the Northeastern Illinois Association of Snowmobile Clubs. On November 3, 1951, he married Beverly Jean Nehmer.
He is survived by his children, Rev. Sarah Walker of Clarinda, IA, Edward Walker Jr. of Roscoe, IL and David (Catherine) Walker of Lovettsville, VA; his granddaughters, Tricia Janes of Harrisburg, PA and Amy and Lindsay Walker of Lovettsville, VA; and grandson, Brian Savage of Fox Lake; his brothers, Ron Walker and Ollie (Laura) Walker of Lake Villa; and sisters, June (Richard) Grutzmacher of Port Richey, FL and Marge Lucas of Libertyville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Jean; brothers, George and William Walker; and nephew, William Ronald Walker.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM on Monday, October 6, 2003 at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 25519 W. Highway 134, Long Lake, IL (847-546-2109). Interment will be at Sand Lake cemetery, Lake Villa. Visitation will be Sunday, from 2 to 6 PM at RINGA FUNERAL HOME, 122 S. Rte. 83, Lake Villa, IL and Monday at the church from 9 to 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the American Diabetes Association, 1701 N. Beauregard St., Alexandria, VA, 22311.

Melvin K. Bodenlos
Melvin K. Bodenlos, a resident of Libertyville, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2004 in Libertyville at the age of 87. He was born February 28, 1917, to the late Andrew and Amanda (nee Schuette) Bodenlos in Chicago. He was a charter member of the Wildwood Presbyterian Church, and a member of the Waukegan Moose Lodge.
Melvin is survived by his children, Melvin (Joan) Bodenlos of Gurnee, Allen (Kathleen) Bodenlos of Wildwood and Karen (Richard) Miller of Lindenhurst; his grandchildren, Mark Bodenlos of Kenosha, Elizabeth Jones of Gages Lake, Jeanette Higham of Gurnee, Margarete Fitzpatrick, Robert Bodenlos and Paul Bodenlos, all of Wildwood; and six great grandchildren.
Melvin is preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn, whom he wed on June 8, 1940 in Chicago.
Friends of the family may visit on Monday, October 4, 2004 from 4 to 8 PM at the STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL, 60030. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, October 5, 2004 also at Strang Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Libertyville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Disease Foundation, 4709 Golf Rd., Suite 1015, Skokie, IL, 60076 or to the charity of your choosing.

Danielle Decicco
Danielle Decicco, 31, from Antioch passed away on October 3, 2004 in Libertyville, IL. Born October 5, 1972 in Waukegan to Michael McMeins Sr. and Susan (nee Behnke) Keating. She was a member of the Calvary Christian Center in Lake Villa.
Danielle is survived by her children, Brooklyn Paige Decicco, Andrew Patrick and Olivia Susan Beeks; father Michael (Kathy) McMeins Sr. of Roselle; mother, Susan Keating of Round Lake Park; siblings, Michael (Lisa) McMeins Jr of Fergus Falls, MN, Patrick John Keating Jr. of Antioch, Michelle Rene McMeins of Crystal Lake and Jonathan Paul McMeins of Roselle. She was preceded in death by her son, Jonathan Decicco in 1994.
Services for Danielle will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, October 6, 2004 at the Calvary Christian Center, 134 W. Monaville Road, Lake Villa, IL, 60046 with Pastor Robert Eby officiating. There will be a visitation from 10 to 11 AM at the church prior to the service. Friends of the family may visit from 4 to 8 PM on Tuesday, October 5, 2004 at the STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, LTD, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL, 60030.

Larry Enis
Larry Enis, 44, of Marengo, IL, formerly of Waukegan, IL, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2004 in Milwaukee, WI. He was born February 18, 1960.
He is survived by his wife, Sherrie; two sons, Larry Enis and Alexander Enis; three daughters, Erika (Charles) Collins, Katrina Enis and Sabrina Enis; a granddaughter, Zeniah Collins; his father, Forrest Enis; two brothers, Anthony (Diane) Enis and Greg Bowie; five sisters, Gwendolyn (Murrell) Porsche, Janis Enis, Debra (Alex) Mackiel, Joyce Rock and Janis Rock; a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and friends.
preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Enis; his mother, Sarah Enis; and his grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, October 5, 2004 at North Shore Church of Christ, 326 Julian St., Waukegan, 60085 with Brother Terry Atwater officiating. Interment will be in North Shore Garden of Memories beginning at 12 Noon.

Odysseus Koklamanis
Odysseus Koklamanis, 39, of Pleasant Prairie, died Saturday, October 2, 2004 at United Hospital System, Kenosha Campus. Born November 9, 1964 in Waukegan, IL. He was the son of Constantine and Theodosia (Katris) Koklamanis.
Odysseus was raised in Waukegan, and attended schools there. He was a graduate of Waukegan West High School. He moved to Pleasant Prairie from Waukegan in 2001. He was a self-employed landscaper and enjoyed spending time with his dog, Boy.
He is survived by his mother, Theodosia Koklamanis of Pleasant Prairie; his fiancee, Suzanne Roe of Burlington; and a brother, Peter (Jeanette) Koklamanis of Kenosha.
He was preceded in death by his father, Constantine Koklamanis.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 4, at 11:00 AM at St. John Chrysostomos Church, 4600 93rd Street, Pleasant Prairie, WI. Interment will follow in St. John Chrysostomos cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday at the church from 9:00 AM, until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to St. John Chrysostomos Church would be appreciated by the family. Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Homes, 3720 39th Avenue, Kenosha, WI is in charge of arrangements.

William David Pulaski
William David Pulaski, age 57, died on September 24, 2004 in Las Vegas, NV. He was born September 7, 1947, the son of William and Kay Pulaski. Born and raised in Waukegan, William moved to Wadsworth in 1976, and then to Las Vegas.
Employed as an electrician, he was a proud member of IBEW Local 150 for 40 years. He enjoyed cooking out, and playing golf. He was an avid Frank Sinatra fan. His friends and family will remember his great sense of humor and his ability to make people laugh.
Survivors include by his wife, Chrissy Zucco of Las Vegas; his former wife, Elizabeth Pulaski of Wadsworth; a daughter, Jennifer (fiance, Karl Lorenz) Pulaski of Wadsworth; three sons, William (Lesha) Pulaski Jr. of Twin Lakes, WI, Matthew (Dawn) Pulaski of Hainesville and Christopher Pulaski of Wadsworth; a granddaughter, Seanna Pulaski of Wadsworth; a sister, Debbie Pulaski of Waukegan; and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Leo and Hazel Catherine Pulaski.
Friends may greet the family from 2 PM until the 5:30 PM Memorial Service Saturday, October 9, 2004 at 5:30 PM at MARSH FUNERAL HOME, 305 cemetery Rd., Gurnee. Visitation from 2 to 5:30 PM at the funeral home.
Memorials in his name to the American Heart Association or to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

William H. Richtfort
William H. Richtfort, 59, of Wauconda, IL passed away on October 2, 2004 in Wauconda. He was born September 5, 1945 in Chicago, IL.
Beloved husband of Barbara A. (nee Stieb); father of William F. (Debra) and Suzanne (James) Porteous; grandfather of Madelynn Richtfort and Emma Porteous; brother of Charles (Elaine), Anne (Dan) Nelson, Rob (Jean) and Tom; son-in-law of Fred (Dorothy) Stieb, brother-in-law of Patty (Fred) Bode and Carolyn Stieb; uncle of many nieces and nephews.
preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one niece.
He was the owner of Air-Masters Heating and Air Conditioning for 22 years.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Rd., Lake Zurich and Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 24500 N. Old McHenry Rd., Lake Zurich. Interment Windridge cemetery.

Mildred A. Black
Mildred A. Black, 93, of Vernon Hills, formerly of Highland Park, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2002 at Condell Medical Center, Libertyville.
She was born December 11, 1908 in Lawrence County, Ohio to the late John and Eva Artis.
She had been a resident of Highland Park for over 60 years and of Vernon Hills for seven years. She was a member of the Rebekah Assemblies and was a Past State President in 1957.
Survivors include two daughters, Darlene (Bernie) Siegele of Lake Forest and Alice Rosemary (Arnold D.) Lovelace of Spindale, NC; a son-in-law, Richard Rietz of Gurnee; ten grandchildren, Laura (Robert) Peterson of Wildwood, Deborah (Brett) Zumsteg of Skokie, Pam Siegele of Gurnee, Mary (late Gary) Juhl of Highland Park, Rick (Dee) Rietz of Indiana, Tim (Tracy) Rietz of Cary, Kathy (Brian) Strathman of Gurnee, Michael Dills of Virginia, Vicky Price of Caroleen, NC and Cindy Crowe of Spindale, NC; 13 great grandchildren; and a sister, Alice (William) Koeppen of Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest F. Black in 1936; a daughter, Evelyn Rietz; two grandsons, Larry and Andy Siegele; and six brothers and sisters.
Friends may call on Tuesday, December 3, 2002 from 4 PM until time of Funeral Services at 7 PM at the SEGUIN AND SYMONDS FUNERAL HOME, 858 Sheridan Road, Highwood. Interment will be private at North Shore Garden of Memories, North Chicago, Illinois.

John E. Cappelen
John E. Cappelen, 80, of Beach Park went to be with our Lord on Saturday, November 23, 2002 at Sheridan Health Care Center, Zion, after a long illness.
John was born November 14, 1922 in Kenosha and had lived in River Grove, Illinois and Winthrop Harbor. Following his schooling in River Grove he attended Chicago Painters and Decorators Apprentice School in Chicago, and on October 8, 1949 he married Avalyn Ruesch at Grace Missionary Church in Zion. He owned John Cappelen Painting and Decorating and was a founder and charter member of Lakeview Church of Zion. He also belonged to International Brotherhood of Painters and Allied Trades, the Chicago Painters and Decorators Local #147, and he served in the Army Corps of Engineers from 1942 until 1943 when he was discharged from the Army to help support his brothers and sisters after the death of his father. John accepted Christ in 1956 under the guidance of Rev. Clarence Fast of Grace Missionary Church.
Survivors include his wife, Avalyn (nee Ruesch) Cappelen; one son, Rev. John R. (Susan) Cappelen of Bakersfield, California; one daughter, Susan (Michael) Sherrow of Ventura, California; one granddaughter, Sally (Reince) Sherrow-Preibus of Racine; three grandsons, Luke and Jordan Sherrow of Ventura and Joshua Cappelen of Bakersfield; five brothers, Robert (Nelda) Cappelen of Des Plaines, Thomas (Carol) Cappelen of Arlington Heights and Russell (Marsella), Alvin (Beth) and Calvin (Margaret) Cappelen, all of Vero Beach, Florida; three sisters, Clara Rodin of Des Plaines, Charlotte (George) Stock of West Union, South Carolina and Geraldine (Joe) Leone of Zion; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Jane Cappelen, Virginia Arnedt and Evelyn Cappelen, by two brothers, Gerald and William Cappelen and by his father and mother, Arthur and Clara Cappelen.
A celebration service will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2002 at 7 p.m. at Lakeview Church, 19th and Sheridan Road, Zion, with Pastors Les Martin and Robert Liechty officiating. Private interment will follow later at Northshore Garden of Memories, North Chicago. Visitation will be Sunday from 6 p.m. until time of services at Lakeview Church. CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion in charge of arrangements.
