Martha Eisenhut

VINCENNES, IND. - Martha Augusta Eisenhut, 78, of Vincennes, Ind., died at 9:40 p.m. Saturday (Jan. 15, 2000) at her home.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at the Gardner-Brockman Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be anytime prior to the service today.

She was born July 10, 1921, in Vincennes, Ind., the daughter of Christian W. and Blanche Bond Rufus. She married Estes Eugene Eisenhut. He died in 1967.

Surviving are two sons, Charles Eisenhut and James Eisenhut, both of Bruceville; four daughters, Donna Thomas, and Phyllis McCoy, both of Vincennes, Jannette Cullop of Bicknell, and Lois Dunn of Mattoon; one sister, Elizabeth Ginder of Claremont; 19 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, one sister, and one grandchild.

Mrs. Eisenhut had worked at several grocery stores prior to her retirement.

Victor Butt

BETHANY - Victor D. Butt, 78, of Bethany died at 5:25 p.m. Thursday (March 16, 2000) at his home.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at McMullin-Young Funeral Home, Bethany. Burial with military rites will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Bethany. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home in Bethany with Masonic services at 8 p.m.

He was born Jan. 27, 1922, in Moultrie County, the son of Dale and Lillie Powell Butt. He married Elsie Nance in 1944. She survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Victoria Craig of Sullivan and Sandra Bandy of Bethany; three brothers, Bob Butt and Jim Butt, both of Sullivan, and Ed Butt of Bethany; one sister, Geneva Briscoe of Decatur; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by five brothers.

Mr. Butt was a World War II Army veteran, a retired mechanic, a member of the Bethany Masonic Lodge 884 and Bethany American Legion Post 507.

Memorials may be made to Lincolnland Hospice or to the World War II Memorial in care of the funeral home.

Kristy Ann Sikorski

MATTOON - Kristy Ann Sikorski, 22, of Mattoon, passed away at 7:03 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2000 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 23, 2000 at the First Southern Baptist Church with Reverend Al Groner officiating. Interment will be in Dodge Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home.

Kristy was born January 10, 1978 in Duluth, Minnesota, the daughter of Franklin and Patricia Davis Sikorski, they survive.

Also surviving are her daughter; Morgen Brianna Wydra, at home, her fiancee: Travis Bolin of Mattoon; five brothers: Thomas Featherly of Rice Lake, Wisconsin, Wesley Fuller, Frank D. Sikorski, Ronald Sikorski, and Shaun Fuller, all of Mattoon; and grandmother: Harriet Thompson of Dairyland, Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by three grandparents, two uncles, and two aunts.

Kristy was a shuttle driver for Pilson Auto Center, and a member of First Southern Baptist Church of Mattoon.

Memorials may be made to the family in care of Mitchell-Jerdan.

Ina Adkins

SIGEL - Ina Adkins, 90, of Sigel died at 7:25 a.m. Friday (March 17, 2000) in Shelby County.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Swengel-O'Dell Funeral Home, Neoga, with the Rev. Cynthia McDowell officiating. Burial will be in Janesville Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

She was born Oct. 4, 1909, in Coles County, the daughter of Grant and Dollie Bidle Leitch. She married Clyde Adkins in 1933. He died in 1966.

Surviving are three sons, Paul Adkins of Neoga, Dale Adkins of Sigel and Charles Adkins of Mattoon; four daughters, Mrs. Louise Anderson of Decatur, Mrs. Robert (Sandy) McKibben of Neoga, Mrs. Les (Brenda) Moreland of Evansville, Ind., and Mrs. Leonard (Carolyn) Boblitt of Bethany; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one son and one brother.

Mrs. Adkins was a housewife and attended the United Presbyterian Church, Neoga.

She was a member of United Presbyterian Women's Club, Mount Tabor Ladies Aid and Kemmerer Village Auxiliary.

Memorials may be made to Habitat for Humanity International, Heartland Christian Village or the donor's choice.

T. Richard Fisher

NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. - T. Richard "Dick" Fisher, 78, of North Fort Myers, Fla., formerly of Charleston, died Friday (Feb. 11, 2000) while vacationing in New Zealand.

A memorial service will be May 21 in Elmore, Ohio.

Fern Wiley

SULLIVAN - Fern Wiley, 100, of Sullivan, died at 12:20 A.M. on April 25, 2000, at the Titus Home in Sullivan.

Services will be 11 A.M. Friday, with visitation one hour before services at McMullin-Young Funeral Home, Sullivan.

Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery, Sullivan.

Charles Brown

SANFORD, FLA. - Charles J. Brown, 69, of Sanford, Fla., formerly of Neoga, died at 4:40 p.m. Sunday (Jan. 9, 2000) at Central Florida Regional Hospital, Sanford, Fla.

Arrangements are pending at Swengel-O'Dell Funeral Home, Neoga.

Ernest Trueblood

MATTOON - Ernest Raymond Trueblood, 93, of Mattoon died at 3:46 p.m. Tuesday (Feb. 29, 2000) at Prairie View Care Center, Charleston.

Arrangements are pending at the Schilling Funeral Home.

James Huddlestun

EFFINGHAM - James Otis Huddlestun, 84, of Effingham, formerly of Greenup, died at 9 a.m. Sunday (Jan. 9, 2000) at St. Anthony's Hospital in Effingham.

Arrangements are pending at Markwell Funeral Home in Casey.

Dennis Myers

ARCOLA - Dennis Myers, 58, of Arcola died at 5 p.m. Sunday (Jan. 9, 2000) at his residence.

Arrangements are incomplete at the Edwards Funeral Home in Arcola.

Roy Croy

NEOGA - Roy L. Croy, 61, of Neoga, died at 12:30 p.m. Monday (Jan. 3, 2000) at Provena Covenant Hospital, Urbana.

Arrangements are incomplete at Barkley Funeral Home, Toledo.

Lora Figgins

MATTOON - Lora Josephine Figgins, 85, of Mattoon, died at 1:35 p.m. Saturday (Jan. 1, 2000) at the Mariner Health Care of Bethesda, Md.

Wanda Irby

CHARLESTON - Wanda Irby, 88, of Charleston, died at 7:30 a.m. Saturday (Jan. 1, 2000) at Prairie View Care Center.

MATTOON - Catherine Considine, 92, of Mattoon died at 12:27 p.m. Tuesday (Feb. 22, 2000) at her residence.
