James T. "Tom" Pryor
James T. "Tom" Pryor, died Thursday, Feb. 28, at St. Mary's Warrick Hospital in Boonville. He was 59.
He was a Boonville High School graduate of 1961. He was the right guard on the 1959 SIAC Football championship team. He currently was employed with INDOT, Vincennes office as Public Relations Specialist and Toll Bridge Administrator at Wabash Memorial Bridge. He was a past Jaycee president and member for over 10 years and a Democrat precinct committeeman for over 20 years. He was the Boon Township Assessor from 1974 to 1980, and served two terms as Mayor of Boonville from 1980 to 1988. He was Boonville's first full-time mayor. He was also a member of Maple Grove Cemetery Board and Tri Cap Board for eight years. Tom never thought of himself as a politician, but always as a public servant for the people. Tom was proud being an "old party" Democrat. He loved being a grandpa.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sherry (Simpson) Pryor of Boonville; mother-in-law, Dorothy Simpson of Evansville; one daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Kelly Allen of Boonville; two sons, Gregory James Pryor of Boonville and Chad Pryor and fiancee Dawn Fentress of Boonville; two brothers, Mack and Richard Pryor, both of Boonville; several nieces and nephews; and four grandchildren, Alyssa Allen, Tyler Allen, Jordan Pryor and Logan Cron.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 4 at Koehler Funeral Home Boonville Chapel. Rev. Rob Allen officiated, with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Tri Cap Food Bank.

Irene Chambers
Boonville resident Irene L. Chambers died Saturday, March 2 at Woodmont Health Campus in Boonville. She attended Fist Baptist Church in Boonville. She was an avid quilter and played piano for a gospel quartet. She worked for 22 years at Embassy Men's Apparel. She loved family gatherings and she was an inspiration to all her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, William A. Chambers in 1987, and a daughter, Carolyn Clark, in 1998.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Ruth Ann and Paul John Enot of Wilmington, Ill.; three sons and daughter-in-laws, Robert and Betty Chambers of Boonville, Ronald and Patty Chambers of De. City, Ok., and Jim and Jean Chambers of Newburgh; a son-in-law, Jerry Clark of Boonville; thirteen grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 6 at Koehler Funeral Home Boonville Chapel with burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Velpin.
Rev. Rob Allen officiated.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund.

Louise Owen
New Harmony resident Louise Owen died Saturday, March 2 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. She was 85.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and James Huff of New Harmony; and grandsons, Jim Huff of Lynnville and Bill Huff of New Harmony.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 5 at Werry Funeral Home New Harmony Chapel with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery in New Harmony.
Memorial contributions may be made to Johnson United Methodist Church in New Harmony.

Audrey Folz
Evansville resident Audrey Folz died Saturday, Jan. 12 at her home of cancer.
She was 80.
Surviving from Warrick County are a daughter, Sandy Allen of Boonville.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel. Rev. Jay Davidson officiated with burial in Darwin, Ill. Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse Association or hospice.

Agnes J. Danielsen
Oct. 6, 1901-Jan. 25, 1998
SOUTH BEND - Agnes J. Danielsen, 96, of Regency Place Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, died at 7:15 p.m. Sunday in the center. She is survived by a son, Edgar Danielsen of Granger. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 17033 Cleveland Road, where friends may call one hour before services.

Lewis J. Frazier
March 22, 1928-Jan. 26, 1998
SOUTH BEND - Lewis James Frazier, 69, of Manor Nursing Home, died Monday in the nursing home. He is survived by a sister, Deloris Hayes of Syracuse; and two brothers, Lawrence of Millersburg and Willard of Goshen. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Thompson & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, where friends may call two hours before services.

Robert S. McCombs Jr.
March 4, 1914-Jan. 27, 1998
SOUTH BEND - Robert S. McCombs Jr., 83, of West Brick Road, died Tuesday in Healthwin Specialized Care. He is survived by a sister, Dorothy E. Knapik of South Bend; and a brother, John W. McCombs of Florida. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Welsheimer Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road, where friends may call one hour before services.

Alice H. Nyberg
Dec. 15, 1898-Jan. 27, 1998
MISHAWAKA - Alice H. Nyberg, 99, of Cardinal Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, South Bend, formerly of Mishawaka, died Tuesday in the nursing home. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St.

Marian J. Schalliol
Dec. 5, 1910-Jan. 26, 1998
MISHAWAKA - Marian Jean Schalliol, 87, of Miller's Merry Manor, Walkerton, formerly of Mishawaka, died Monday in the nursing home. Surviving are a daughter, Ann L. Camblin of North Liberty; a son, John C. Shalliol of Mishawaka; and a brother, James Shamo of LaPorte. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church. There will be no visitation. Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main, handled arrangements.

Helen Wood
June 19, 1922-Dec. 18, 1997
SOUTH BEND - Helen (Nowak) Wood, 75, of Daytona Beach, Fla., formerly of South Bend, died Dec. 18 in Memorial Hospital, Ormond, Fla. She is survived by a sister, Gladys Morrison of Daytona Beach; and two brothers, Arthur A. Nowak of Gardnerville, Nev., and Edwin J. Nowak of Mishawaka. Services will be held at a later date. St. Joseph Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Donna R. Alvaredo
Oct. 12, 1936-Jan. 27, 1998
NEW CARLISLE - Donna Rae Alvaredo, 61, of Lindstrom Lane, Hudson Lake, died Tuesday in the home of her daughter in Wakarusa. She is survived by her husband, Guadalupe Alvaredo; two daughters, Tina Harter of Wakarusa and Vicki Swartzentruber of Goshen; a son, Nicholas of Three Oaks; her mother, Mabel Hixson of Nashville, Tenn.; and four sisters, Carol Lyon of Collinsville, Okla., Sandy Brumfield of Oologah, Okla., Linda Fritsch of Nashville and Connie Nine of Nappanee. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Hudson Lake Mennonite Church. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Kaniewski Funeral Home, 201 S. Filbert St., and one hour before services in the church.
